During a visit to Cardiff decided to stop here for a bite to eat. The menu seems varied with lots of deals. We went for two burger meals for £8.45 which seemed exceptional value. The tables were spaced evenly with a quiet calm atmosphere. Large bar with a vast range of choice. Enjoyed my meal which arrived fairly quickly. Nice staff. Give it a go 😉

Watched football, staff great, unfortunately didn't have food we wanted, no steaks, no all day breakfast, no salads so ended up with just chips with sauce, had to go elsewhere for main meal.

A really nice place for watching sports, eating classic pub meals and enjoying a pint or two.

Food was nice but think they could have given more chips. Dessert was lovely we were a group of 10 so had a bit of everything on the menu

Dissapointed visit. The 4 of us, visited at lunchtime. We wanted the lunchtime meal deal but had to visit the bar back and for, several times as most of our choices were not available. Might as well put a sign to say sold out or not available or the barman could have told us that those items are all not available ( all on the deal!). The place was not busy that they run out of things. Will not be visiting there again.

Had a good experience recently during the rugby internationals. Service was very good, the drink selection was excellent, and the burgers were tasty. "Footlong Nachos" were disappointing in size and taste. Good place to spend a couple of hours or watch the sport.

Shopping in Cardiff with my nan and daughter and thought we would try this place for food, with nan being in a wheelchair we find most places can't accommodate but from the minute we walked in the door the staff were fantastic really could not fault them...lovely place, lovely food and amazing staff!! We will definitely be returning.

We had a 45min wait for a bus, so we called in for a drink. It was lovely, clean and spacious with a nice ambiance of people chatting. A pleasurable wait for our bus. Will go again one day.

Lovely staff we enjoyed every meal and drink no faults there, excellent value, only 4 stars as would be ideal if had colouring for little ones to do or purchase whilst waiting for food.

Decent food at reasonable city centre prices. Pool tables available which is a big bonus. Helpful and friendly staff. Service with a smile and a warm felt goodbye as we left. Nice touch.

Good Central pub with reasonably priced food. Hunters chicken, chips, peas, and a soft drink for £8.99! Decent portion and served hot. Friendly staff. Good location for food/ drink before show at New Theatre

Popped in for a pre-theatre meal. Very convenient and good value. The small plates were generously portioned. Would have been 5 stars but several items on the menu were unavailable.

Ordered food mains arrived and to say portions are small is an understatement had the bbq chicken cheese melt I think they were quails breasts and very few chips and half frozen peas. Don't expect to fill up on the food here!!!!

Stopped off on the way to the New Theatre for a drink and ended up having a sharer platter. It was reasonably priced, a good quantity and very nice tasting. Place was quiet but was a Monday early evening.

Staff were great. But food was awful. Definitely microwave meals. The lasagna was awful. Served lovely by wonderful staff. Hot and cold In places..shame. I couldn't eat it.

First time here. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. We were delighted with the drinks, food and service. 5 stars!!! Shout out to Rhys and Jasmine. A credit to Yates.

Don't remember being in here, but I enjoyed every minute that I was in Cardiff, so I'm confident it was great 👍👍 I have now checked my online banking and I spent £35 here so I guess I did like it here 😀

Decided to pop in for a cheeky glass of wine with the hubby . The place was lively and friendly. But the wine was awful I ordered a glass of dry white which tasted like lemonade awful my hubby ordered a Shiraz which again was awful tasted like they had both been watered down with either squash or water. Will not be back.

Great food and drink and it's right next to the new theatre happy with the price as it's in the heart of Cardiff cant fault the service staff as well

Visited this place with my girlfriend, she was due to go out with 6 girls but unfortunately everything was cancelled. So myself and our girlfriend went instead. Drinks nice including mixed drinks. Jagerbombs good and staff were very friendly.

Had an amazing time on the weekend for the lions game! Staff were very accommodating, with sport in every corner we didn’t miss a thing!!!! Staff were very knowledgeable and accommodating to my party; will definitely be returning for future games!!! We also ordered some sharing plates and these were fantastic to nibble amongst us Thank you yates!!!!!!!

Fantastic evening, can't thank the lovely staff in Cardiff enough, we booked for Christmas menu before attending the theatre, on arrival the table was decorated with hats and crackers, a lovely bottle of prosseco was a lovely bonus, again thank you and merry Christmas 🎅 🎄

This pub is absolutely fine! Nothing special but a nice range of drinks, not expensive, lovely staff, just out of town so not super busy while I was there. It won't knock your socks off but if you miss your bus and fancy a sneaky drink while you wait for the next one, you can't go wrong!

Came here on a Friday evening for after work cocktails with work colleagues. Staff were welcoming and we ended up staying. DJ was great!

Dropped in for a cheeky all day breakfast at lunchtime today...food quality was excellent, service was cheery and helpful. Great value and a really decent cup of coffee.

Food was nice and the drinks were average, the price was about what you would expect for Cardiff.

Came last weekend and had a great time. Reasonably priced drinks for a bar in the city centre and the food was fab. Staff were bubbly, especially Keeley, Rhys and the sarcastic but funny Charley! Will definitely be returning!

Been here several times now, always great service. Food has been delicious and the choice of beer and cider is pretty extensive. Staff are very polite and pleasant. I used the app from the menu which had a few bugs but i cannot remove stars for that...technology always has gremlins....staff where super helpful when it happened. Great venue and location, huge inside and a wide array of screens offering all sorts of sports to accommodate everyones interest.
