Nice pub in the old part of Cardiff. Drink choices are decent and has a nice decor.

Great pub. We weren't sure which beers to choose, so the bartender gave us samples of each ones. We quickly found our favorites. The ambience is quite cozy. Around noon it became quite busy but not uncomfy. As a meal we choose the local pies consisting of the curry chicken and the lamb. It was delicious and quite huge amount of food at the price of 7.50£

Fun little pub in downtown Cardiff. Great beer, good pies, quick service. Nothing to complain about.

The Goat is still one of the best pubs in the city. It's one of the few places to serve a really good pint of Dark - the classic dark-mild from Brains. It's comfortable and not overly noisy. For a good pint & chat with my friends, it's our favourite venue.

A good place to hide, relax and enjoy an excellent pint of Black. I'm not a fan of music in pubs because it's generally badly chosen (ie. by a computer) but at least it's at low volume here. Maybe they could look into a Welsh folk music playlist to go with the great beers? I have plenty of suggestions!

Lovely friendly pub, great bar staff and unexpected singing. I'm in a wheelchair at the moment and there are no disabled toilets but the staff checked the men's toilets were clear and stopped any men coming in after me. Brilliant service. Well done ❤️

Lovely little pub, great beer, friendly staff and was giving the lowdown of the history. Enjoyed the beer and called in several times over the weekend. Friendly customers, looking forward to popping in again next time in Cardiff

It's a pub. A very decent pub. Good beer. Fine pies. Always found the people working behind the bar to be friendly too. What else could you want? Go enjoy a pint.

Small and busy, but great service and great potpies. Right in front of Cardiff Castle and at the start of St. Mary's arcades. Which makes it a great.location.

My visit was on a Wednesday afternoon with just a few friendly locals present. The place was clean but a little dark. My beer was of good quality, but at £4 not cheap. Overall, there was nothing to complain about, and I will try the food next time.
