The wait was painfully long, even for a high street store. Complete lack of leadership. Also the standard "I hate my job, I'm better than you" attitude from the staff.

It's okay for a McDonald's but I feel like it's always super crowded even when we visit during off peak times. I never had any issues with the orders although most receipt printers are broken, as well as the screen displaying the finished order numbers.

I ordered a coffee I'm waiting over 10 minutes for my coffee when I asked why I was waiting so long it's the third time I've had the same problem from now on I won't be going in there because they are too slow at serving customers there was people waiting for far too long for their food which was waiting on counter can people did not seem to know what they where doing service should quicker and with no receipt that's no good so next time I go to McDonald's it'll be the one in st Mary's Street as they are much quicker at serving customers and they are also rude and disrespectful left not very happy at all 😔

If I could leave no stars I would. Manager sakib would not cater to my dietary request. I wanted a burger but without the patty as I am vegetarian and he refused and ignored my request. I have always had this as my order and he was very unhelpful. I’m very upset and disappointed in his customer service skills.

This place was very useful to stop by after a karaoke night in Cardiff city centere .I had a vegan plant McDonald's burger for the 1st time & it was very delicious 😋 I highly recommend it !! Also tried vegan chicken nuggets w/ sweet & sour sauce & they were very good ,too!! If you're expecting a fake meat version,then you might get disappointed as it's not ,more like hushbrown meets samosa like ,simple potato croquettes type w/ sweet corns inside ! I prefer this over highly processed foods ! If given choices in between ! I had 'em w/ slices of cucumbers in a packed bag. I really enjoyed 'em all !! I highly recommend this way so that you can have some raw veggies & more veggies together !! I find them addictive !! Lol.

Arrived here around 18:30 on a Sunday, pretty chill place, lots of teenagers, I'd say the place was 2/3 full. The food was brought to my table (you can use the Locators, which is nice. definitely enjoyed this small meal, spent less than a 5£ and I'm full! :) One of the burgers was a little cold though, apart of that all was nice.

Cardiff Queen Street. Wednesday in school holiday. Really busy but it was easy to order table service on screen downstairs or upstairs and take a number to a table when it became vacant. It was also great to be able to remove items from your burger. It was easy to remove the bun and the pickle which was served as ordered.

Quick enough with the food pity they weren't cleaning up the place food and rubbish on the floor I know it was busy but that's not an excuse.

Had to clean down own table. No real service as someone just hands you your tray. Burger and chips were fresh and hot

Friendly satff like always BUT there are several groups of boys I see them a lot there. They sit upstairs smoking electronic cigarettes, and this bothers me. I understand that the employees are girls, and I saw how the boys were rude to them when they asked them to leave, so Security should do this, expel them , even they don't eat, just show themselves off !!

This place has gone downhill since taking on deliveries ....the wait to be served at a manual till is ridiculous staff walk past area without interacting with you and you have to ask if someone can serve you then the wait is ages and if your order is right its a miracle the only helpful person is Teresa

I do feel sorry for the staff working here. They are all friendly but the place itself is a pain and gets so many issues. The day after a rugby game and plenty of stuff out of stock, smashed screen on the self order point and groups of blokes F’ing here there and everywhere with kids around. Lady working upstairs was very nice though so that’s what saved it from 1 star.

SHOCKING INCIDENT!! I was in yesterday night and I was waiting for my food and I saw the two security guards of Mcdonalds pushing and applying physical force to kick out some customers that were simply waiting for their food order. The customers were explaining to them and showing their receipt but the two security guards did not care at all and carried on assaulting the group. Unacceptable !!

Zero stars for this McDonald's, how this restaurant is open and allowed to operate is beyond me, The staff seem downtrodden and, there's no happy greeting. I had to instigate a good morning. They were helpful when I needed to use the toilets, due to the door access code and the need for perfect timing to open it, which l recommend you really shouldn't use. They should be condemned; broken hand dryer with outer casing hanging off the wall held with hazard tape. What really hits you is the smell from the toilets absolutely disgusting. Food left on the table, which had already attracted flies and were circling and no one to be seen. Unsure why there was a storage trolley with unopened boxes in the restaurant The list goes on this is THE worst dining experience I have ever had so much so I decided to leave the filthy cesspit and will never return

Much better since the last time I was here 3 months ago. The Indian/Pakistani staff are good at their job. I'll never forget a year ago I was taking a selfie with some friends after a night out. And a white Welsh guy who was cooking the burgers was paranoid and thought I was taking photos of him, and started screaming at me. I guess he didn't last long in the job?

It was much bigger than I honestly expected but overall it was OK. I feel lucky that I didn't have a poor experience here compared to previous reviews mentioned here. The staff were quite nice and there was plenty of seating upstairs. It's a bit of a walk from the stations in Cardiff but other than that, yeah. It was OK.

Pretty decent maccies, always worth stopping by after a night out. However around the time the clubs close it can get very very busy.

Apparently Queen St and Newport Road McDonalds have decided to stop serving ice with their drinks. This has been for at least 5 orders in a row. Great idea during summer.. Also whatever we just received was definitely not milkshake. Frothy dregs from the bottom of the machine perhaps? Something is wrong with these two restaurants in particular.

Good price. Very Very busy when we visited. Loading up delivery service riders! Ok though and what you would expect from this restaurant chain.

I arrived at 0705h. There was a delivery driver waiting to collect an order and another customer ahead of me. I ordered a double sausage mcmuffin meal. 0725h I left with a mega hard muffin containing an egg and one coffee. 20 mins and the sausage was still not ready. Proper management is needed there.

Just had a delivery earlier. Took slightly longer than expected but I am quite understanding that these delivery drivers have a heavy workload. Food was heated and presentation expected. Order was fully correct which I appreciated. Content with experience :)
