Absolutely stunning. I landed in Cardiff on business and were recommended The Balti Cuisine from our client Mal who has been eating here for over 20 years. Could not have added anything to my meal that would have improved it. Me and my girlfriend are planning a trip to Cardiff as an excuse for a great curry. Have been recommending this eatery ever since. 11/10!

I had an absolutely terrible experience at The Balti Cuisine. The hospitality was beyond horrible – the staff was unbelievably rude and disrespectful. My dining companions and I were treated with complete disdain, to the point where we felt the need to leave the place as soon as possible. It's astonishing how such a lack of professionalism can ruin what should have been an enjoyable meal. I strongly advise avoiding this restaurant unless you're prepared to endure rude and unwelcoming treatment.

😡 It was 10:30 pm on the 25th August when we entered the restaurant and we ordered. First, they said we cannot serve only side dishes. I understand its not worth anything to them without the main dish. But the incharge was overly rude to us and didn't consider informing it to us in a good way. When we said we would leave, he argued, saying he speaks to everyone in the same way. We walked out of the restaurant.

Damn, these guys know how to cook! I'm vegetarian so haven't tried their meat dishes but the stuff I have tried has been exceptional. Great value, creative menu and just downright delicious. What more can I say?!

Been in the restaurant for a takeaway once and ordered online as well a few times. None of the experience was nice, as they won’t serve you unless you place a big order. For takeaway, they won’t accept card unless you meet minimum price. Acceptable! as they aren’t the only ones doing that. But, for online ordering my order has been cancelled multiple times as it was a small order.

Fantastic establishment. Used to go regularly in my student days many years ago, and went tonight for a reunion. Still making great curries, with friendly staff and the most welcoming manager you could ask for. He even remembered our converaations from way back when. Strongly recommend!

All the food was great, but I'm particularly partial to chicken pakora. It wasn't on the menu but I was able to order it on request!

All I can say is........superb. My food was excellent, service was excellent and the atmosphere was busy bur so chilled. What more could you ask for? Keep up the excellent work staff at Balti Cuisine. I would definitely recommend the company to anyone. It's a must try 🖤🖤

Had a fabulous meal tonight at the Balti Cuisine. I ordered Chicken Pathia and as I love my dish a little hotter the chef spiced it up and even added 2 chilli’s! Absolutely perfect 👏🏻can’t wait for our next visit ❤️

Went to The Balti Cuisine this evening for a meal and chose the House Special Mixed Grill. Wow, a huge sizzling grill plate full of tandoori chicken, lamb chop, King prawns, barbecue chicken, spicy wings, lamb tikka, Phew I exhausted just listing it !!!! Great value for money. Well worth the visit. Will definitely be back. 👍

Had a family birthday last night and it was absolutely lovely, the staff are excellent and cannot do enough for you. The food is varied with lots of choice of your classics but also a lot of unique dishes with own little twist, everyone thoroughly enjoyed there meals, definitely recommend this place and will be visiting again for sure. Top notch

7 of us visited for my Step Daughter’s 14th Birthday and what a great experience! From the service to the food to the value for money, we had a really great meal. Nothing was too much trouble and staff were only too willing to describe and recommend dishes. Even the singing of “Happy Birthday “ was instigated by the lovely member of staff that lit the candles and brought out the cake! Thank you all so much and we will definitely be using your restaurant more often!

I went with a bunch of friends at last minute and they were more than accommodating. Lovely food and quality service.

Sadly, this was probably the worst current I can recollect. Chicken tikka balti was essentially 90% rice with a few lame pieces of non descript, zero spice chicken and a curry sauce that had almost no taste. My wife has chicken tikka sauce. The sauce was identacle in colour(beige) texture (none) and taste (none) As it happens, I ordered from the wrong place via deliveroo and only realized when I checked as it was so lame and unauthentic. Worse £30 I have ever spent on food, sadly. To top it off, it was my birthday supper!!

Top quality food, sometimes we fancy a change but we always come back to The Balti Cuisine as it’s consistently excellent food quality & customer service. Nothing is too much trouble for Mo and his team.

My favourite curry place in Cardiff. Staff friendly, food leaves you feeling full but not bloated, happy to box up your leftovers, very reasonable prices. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

The Balti Cuisine is far and away my favourite restaurant. I have been one of Mo’s customers there for as long as I can remember - certainly 25 years. Recently I have had to curtail my visits regretfully - age catching up with me mostly but I have referred lots of friends and acquaintances there over the years “ the best curry restaurant in Western Europe “ I tell them and every single one of those I sent there for their favourite curry have agreed that the food there is totally exquisite. Delicate flavours- obviously good ingredients and freshly cooked by a chef or chefs that know their menu inside out - and what an extensive menu it is. Mo updates and refreshes it quite regularly - it evolves. My favourite is Chicken Methi madras, I can taste it now as I sit in my home writing this. Fabulous. The service is second to none and Mo stocks a good selection of drinks - especially good wine for me. The guys from Cambridge Solar that came from Machynlleth to fit 12 solar panels on my brother’s bungalow - one of whom was a Vindaloo curry nerd himself - the other two merely loved curry - turned up the following morning wowing the praises of each of their chosen meals. What more needs saying? Get over there and treat yourself.

Rarely do we find an Indian restaurant that is to our taste outside of the Midlands. But this was exceptional. So glad we made the effort (30min walk). The food was very tasty indeed - just a Chicken Balti but full of flavour with a very rich sauce. Have various bottled beers available which was a bonus. If this was my local restaurant then I'd be well chuffed ☺️ and fat 😞

Always consistently good quality. Hadn't been for a while due to C-19. Always friendly, excellent choice of dishes and sides. The chicken Jalfrazi (?) is gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Really good service, staff were very attentive. The tikka lamb Bhuna was amazing. The beef vindaloo was very spicy so be wary! Wasn’t the best curry I had but definitely up there!

Balti Cuisine is brilliant, always has been and it continues to be. I've been going here for over 20 years and it still doesn't disappoint. Great curry, unpretentious and good value. My last few trips I've been trying things off the chef's recommendation part of the menu and each has been great. Can't wait for my next trip!

Have visited many times of the past year and can say the standard of food and service has never dropped. The lamb and chicken dishes are always excellent quality - highly recommended.
