I ordered through take out and the delivery was quick and well packaged. The food itself travels well and the fries weren't soggy which is a rarity in takeout food. The food itself was very tasty and they gave really good portions too. The chicken strips were delicious and the peri fries were perfectly spiced. The only slight downside which prevents me giving it a 5 stars is the breast was slightly dry and the price was a little much. But I would still recommend

Literally the worst place ever! One of the staff charged me the wrong price for food and then asked me to pay the difference. I asked her to just cancel the order as I wasn't gonna pay that much for one persons meal. She gave me attitude and went to ask her boss who took around 10 minutes deciding what they wanted to do. They gave me a cash refund which was less than I paid on card! Lost out on money for nothing really. Avoid going. City Road deffo has nicer places :)

Has gone downhill. Ordered the boneless platter with creamy mash - food was served cold and the mash was packet mash and not cooked properly (was like powdery soup). When I had told them the mash wasn’t cooked properly the chef said it is supposed to be like that🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Had the mash from them before and it was never served like a bowl powdered water before. Service was awful so would not go here again. No wonder why it is so dead inside!

Nice peri peri with an extensive burger menu alongside it. I’d say the actual burger is pretty average, not bad but I’ve had better. You’re better off eating the peri peri. The spicy rice is better than Nando’s but maybe because it tastes more like a biryani. It’s good though, try it.

We visited on the weekend. The food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the platter for 2 with extra chips. It was better than Nandos. The chicken was so tasty and cooked to perfection. The spicy rice is homemade and the best we ever tried. The service was fantastic and the staff friendly. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. We would highly recommend and look forward to eating here again. Thank you.

Amazing peri peri restaurant in Cardiff. Polite, friendly, customer service Food was on time well cooked and tasted lovely. Amazing service. Comfortable restaurant. Lots of choice and definitely going back. It is one of the best restaurants I have been to in ages. Food was spot on not too pricey either. They are happy to accommodate naughty kids. Everytime we have ordered for takeaway and whenever we go in to eat, it has been a great experience and food has been fantastic! We go as a big group with young kids and they are very accomodating. I highly recommend!

Polite and cuteous staff, my food came quickly but a few tweaks need to be made. Cleanliness is a concern more so attention to detail. Food was very good value but wasn't quite there taste wise, however the portions were extremely generous. Bottomless drinks are a positive but glasses were a little grubby, on the right track just needs a few tweaks.

This place makes Nando's look like a Michelin star restaurant. While the food was okay, the service in this place is laughable. In between making an order, the cashier disappears to take a phone order and comes back 10 minutes later. Meanwhile you have other members of staff all standing round watching videos on their phones. The window outside the restaurant has an advert for 50% off food during Ramadan - however to redeem this you need to check in on Facebook which is certainly false advertising as this is not mentioned until you're in the restaurant. To top it off I had the wrong order brought to me.

Ordered Half a chicken. Wanted to try it out as this was the first thing ordered from the restaurant. The lemon and herb mixed with the chicken was fabulous. Best chicken I’ve had so far, the lemon really added to the chicken. Wonderful.

First time I went there they forgot to serve my orange juice, the next time I told them and they said it was my fault for not asking for it again, no refund, no apology, and a dismissive attitude from waitress. The prices are confusing, intentionally maybe, they have 2 menu's out with different prices, and the girl at the til said even they were old prices...im not even sure what they charged Went in today and they forgot to even cook 2 of the 3 items I ordered, my freinds were nearly done with their food by the time I received mine, it wasn't even busy Notes were ignored for the spiciness of the food I asked for a receipt but it doesnt show cost my item, just the total, so they could just be making up the prices for all I know. The food is good when you get it though, and at least I got an apology this time I'll save myself the hassle next time and go elsewhere in future

Have dined in and had takeaways. Last night had a takeaway - was delicious. Spicy rice is amazing as are the peri peri fries. Pita didn't travel well, was quite sloppy but still tasted good.

Used to provide good food. But what a disappointment today. Food was delivered close to 2 hrs after ordering online. As expected it was cold and under cooked. Had to throw away more than half. Wasted 20 pounds on 2 chicken burgers. Wont be ordering ever again. Shame it was a good restuarant.

Hands down the best veg burger in town. I absolutely love and cannot get enough of the veggie chilly burger. It's delicious, juicy, and oh-so-satisfying. I am leaving the city soon, and before leaving want to try it for the last time. It's THAT good. No kidding.

Love chicken then this is the venue for you, I simply love the chicken here. My favourite place to eat. Never fail to please every time. Sauces are a great addition to all dishes. Lemon and herb is best thing there. Staff couldn't do enough. Very nice and cheery. Awesome place to eat. Classy and modern and a great atmosphere. Menu is pretty good and food tastes amazing

Burger was so nice I loved the texture of peri peri sauce in it. Actually I got surprised after having their feta salad. It was the best I had in years. Staff was friendly and professional. Bottomless drinks was a great add on. Definitely would go there again.

Absolutely one of the best places I have visited for halal food. We came to Wales to visit snowdonia, then a nightstay in Cardiff and a quick search brought us to Ostro where me, my wife and sons enjoyed some peri peri chicken and it was by far the best most tender chicken we have had. Far supercedes nandos in terms of quality and flavour. The rice was awesome, creamy mash was very tasty and the chips were perfect. Everything was served professionally and of a very high standard. The employees were very kind, friendly and served with a smile made the food taste all the more better. Will definetly return whenever in Cardiff.

Ordered online twice, both time order was cancelled saying that I requested a refund when I didn’t, tried phone inv was hung up on, terrible service won’t be ordering again. As a food influencer with over 20,000 followers on instagram based in Cardiff, I was very disappointed and I will be posting about this !

Good size seating area for parties of any size. Staff were very helpful and the service was extremely quick. The food was very enjoyable and tasty. Well prepared and exactly as ordered considering we had some fussy eaters with us. Can get very busy on some days/times. Staff got us a good table for pram, brought a child seat over and even held the door as we left. Would go back in a flash and would recommend to all.

I been waiting for my food hungry after work in the house. Few later they cancelled my order because they don't have driver so why you allowing customers to order online when you don't have a driver. So money been taking, will take 2 days to get a refund to my account. Now I am without food and money. This is fair seriously.

Food Is very Delicious.We went there five friends and took their peri peri plater it was very tasty and juicy also,i just loved it,and the service was very good.Highly Recommended!!!
