When in Cardiff we always stop at Vivo Amigos. Good is amazing and so are the staff. Everything is tasty and the mojito's are lovely!!! Can't wait for our next day trip

Vikram is a fantastic chef and food is absolutely brilliant. A great dining experience. (Food is halal also). Myself and my wife mistakenly went at closing time (assuming they shut at 11pm always). The lady serving us was very welcoming and understanding, they still served us and we're extremely patient. Absolutely fantastic customer service and environment is clean and calm. 10 out of 10.

Mexico meets India, very good fusion food. Looking at the portion sizes, prices were on the higher side. Suggestion to restaurant: it would have been better if there was an option to customise the spice levels, dishes were not spicy at all for an Indian-Mexican fusion restaurant.

Great vibe, good decor and - most importantly - AMAZING FOOD!! The staff were very attentive and were happy to go the extra mile for us. It's really no wonder they're rated so highly - it's very well deserved 😊 We had the chicken 65 tacos, veg quesidillas, patatas bravas (beautifully done!!) and the paneer chimichangas - everything was so flavourful and I can't fault any of them 👍 Highly recommend this place to visitors! It's worth the walk from the city if you're only in Cardiff for the day 😁

We were not sure initially when looking at the menu, how wrong we were. This is a MUST visit on Whitchurch Road. Rustic appearance, the friendliest service, incredible fusion food. Support local!

Absolutely delicious! The fusion of Indian and Mexican cuisines works so well. I would only suggest to change the buns on the burgers as they're too doughy. Perhaps try brioche bun. Will be back to try more from the menu.

What a great place! interesting menu options. The Tacos and Enchiladas were delicious. Had great night here with a large group for a Christmas party. Service was excellent. really friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu!

Never knew about this place. The food fusion is excellent. The vibes were amazing, too. I went out with my Pilates friends. They loved it, too. We didn't order the starters. we just ordered some drinks and food. I ordered Enchiladas Tandoori chicken. My friends had fish curry and rice, and another friend had butter chicken masala. Another friend had chicken tikka frankie rolls. Another friend had Smoked Pulled Tandoori Chicken (Burrito). You can order tapas as well which another friend of mine ordered. The quantity and presentation of food was excellent. I would say you won't go hungry. A very highly recommended place to go.

We popped in for lunch and were blown away. The combination of Mexican and Indian worked better than I could’ve imagined. I had the beef madras burrito (see photos) and my friend had the tandoori chicken burrito. Both were sublime. Highly recommend, we’ll definitely be returning!

Had an excellent evening meal, food was delicious and served piping hot. Staff were very attentive and took time to explain what the different menu items were. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would definitely return again.

Six of us went here midweek and it was an extremely enjoyable experience. None of us had trouble ordering from the menu due to the variety on offer and we all left having had a starter, main and a few alcoholic drinks for under £30 per person. Can't fault it. Personally I thought the beef madras tacos were incredible and I would have that madras again today. Will definitely return.

Epic. Was skeptical about the combination of cuisines but by Jove they pull it off. The food was delicious and it worked really well. Also, very unpretentious.

Had lunch here with a few guys from work, really great little place with a cool vibe inside. Very friendly and attentive staff without being over bearing and the food was delicious. Definitely go again. There weren't that many people in when we were there so was a bit quiet, but the decor etc is great inside. Superb

Been here a few times now and it never disappoints. The Mexican Indian fusion works great. The food is always top quality with amazing flavours. The meatballs and the empinadas were our favourites. Always great service here and the staff are super friendly. Will definitely be back soon!

Great restaurant! I had the Roti taco and wow! All the boxes were ticked! Great portion great price and really tasty. Service was great the waitress was very caring in explaining menu items and checked up on us throughout our meal. Only loses a star because of crumbs on one of the tables near us that was setup for other customers. I will come back in future again and change my review if it changes! Definitely worth a visit for some goode Mexican/Indo food!

Mexican + Indian? Something we could never thought of. Food was really tasty!! Had beef fajitas, empanadas, enchiladas. 2 of the servers were the friendliest and not overselling the food. Kudos to them! Would definitely go back!

We were a party of 12, the waiters were very friendly and attentive! A lovely atmosphere! The food was absolutely divine! The spices were perfection the the fusion of foods is a brilliant idea and just works so so well. Everybody in the group were extremely happy with the food they ordered! We will definitely be back again as we want to work through the menu! Really recommend to anyone searching for somewhere to eat.

Honestly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. After hearing amazing things about Vivo Amigos we definitely had to travel there to try it and I’d say it’s was better than expected. As someone who can’t deal with much spice I was slightly worried but the beef enchilada was to perfection, slight spice but nothing that would put me off my food. With every bite I enjoyed it more and more. The gentleman serving us was an absolute pleasure. He was so kind and catering to us and whilst running everything he made sure to check on us periodically. With how much we had ordered and the portion sizing it was definitely amazing value for money. We had a tapas board for starters and a main each and we were left with bullies full and hearts warmed. Will definitely be recommending to everyone and hopefully travelling back soon to try more.

Exceptional Mexican fusion food served by the friendliest staff. The place is usually full, so better if you book in advance.

Great place. Everything was bang on. Lots of flavor and we'll thought through combinations. Best meal we've had in some time and the rusty nail was excellent too.

Amazing fresh food I had the tacos with an Indian twist .... Highly recommended. The staff are also very nice and helpful . I advise you book as there only a small restaurant and people no the food is amazing . Really tasty will be going back soon

Very impressed with the quality and choice of food. Topped off with excellent customer service. We had a really nice time would highly recommend. In the pictures are the pulled chicken Nacho mex starter, and rotisserie chicken for the mains. This restaurant is now probably one of my favourites in Cardiff, and I have tried many!

This is an outstanding mix of Indian and Mexican… not sure how they’ve got this idea and recipe but it’s one of the best I’ve tasted in Cardiff…. In love with the taste and service…..

Our first time here and we've eaten so well! The food is gorgeous to look at and so tasty to eat. A great mix of Indian and Mexican! Service is impeccable and atmoshpere waem and inviting. Very, very highly recommended.

Me and my partner went here in August, I was a bit hesitant at first as I’m a fussy eater but the food was absolutely lovely. The butter chicken curry was the nicest curry I’ve ever had, the chips have this seasoning on which the waitress said is home made and was really tasty, the decor is really nice and well done and the waitress was lovely also. We are considering going back to Cardiff just for this restaurant, it was that nice.

Definitely pay a vist for food if you're in Cardiff. Reasonably priced and top quality freshly cooked food. Vegetarian Dhansak was banging! We will be back.

Delicious food and brilliant service! The food was fresh and there was plenty of it! Never though that mixing Indian and Mexican would work but it definitely does and I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

My partner and I decided to walk out of the city centre on the back of the good reviews and were not disappointed. We had a great meal and would definitely return if we find ourselves in Cardiff again. The fusion of Indian and Mexican tastes and flavours were delicious. Not quite as many vegan options as I thought there was going be but we were well looked after nonetheless.
