Well, as much as I don't like giving bad reviews, I have to be honest. Not very impressed. Having grown up in an area filled with pizza joints, I like to think I know more then average amounts about pizza. Plus I lo e Dave Portnoy, the YouTube pizza King. Anyway, I had high hopes for this place. The photos and reviews are all awesome. But, I was disappointed with the pizza 🍕. Its taste, the texture, the undercarriage, not for me. I found it dry however, the little bit of sauce that was on it was tasty. Sadly not enough. I always give 2nd chances and I will definitely be in to try the "sicilian" , square. The focaccia was OK.. better thennthe pizza but still not what I expected.

Delicious meal. We particularly loved the Roma style pizza but equally the classic pizza was also delicious. Lovely owner. Highly recommend!

A friend and I needed somewhere to eat and it was quite late. Romeat was still open so we gave it a go! Really friendly staff and delicious pizza slices! Everything tasted very authentic with made with good quality ingredients. Dog friendly too!

Came here for a birthday meal we had the pepperoni pizza teglia style and the gladiatore classic, both pizzas were stunning and made with the best ingredients. The service was top notch as well, very attentive without being over bearing, as soon as my drink was close to empty I was offered another. Best pizza in Cardiff.

Great pizza served in a very friendly atmosphere. We have been here in a small group and also a very large catered group (30+) and both occasions, the food was fast, hot and delicious. Save some space for the excellent fresh cannolis - this is definitely not the place of you are counting carbs! Recommended and have returned.

Delicious pizzas. Nice to have a place that offers something different to Neapolitan style pizzas. Good range of toppings. They also do them by the slice. The butternut squash base one is worth a try.

Great new option for authentic home-baked pizza in a cool brand new location with friendly service. Plenty alternatives for non-pizza choice. Romana base is definitely a must try. Rightly priced.

The authentic Italian experience started from the moment we walked in. Friendly and welcoming staff and a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. We ordered 2 pizzas and black truffle fries. 10/10 food. Quality starts with the best ingredients, and I can hand on heart say they use the best ingredients. Best pizza have had in 16 years, couldn’t believe I can get quality like this in Cardiff. I'm sad I can only give romeat 5/5. It deserves 10/5! The best pizza I have ever had in Cardiff AND the best take out pasta. They even added spinich on my request! The price is extremly reasonable, especially for how good it is. The packaging is recyclable and it looks good, so no ugly plastic tubs. The people are friendly, truly passionate about the food and wonderful Italian! If you are thinking of trying this place out DO IT. I promise you won't regret it

I LOVED this place! The Pizza dough and the topoings used were high quality! One of the very few restaurants in the UK that actually make authentic Roman Pizza!! I am Italian from Rome, and I can guarantee this pizzeria is a MUST VISIT! Grazie mille :)

Ordered through Uber eats and had an issue with a missing order. The restaurant were amazing and called Uber for me to cancel it, I reordered and it came quickly. The food is absolutely delicious, easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, the desserts are fab too. Couldn’t fault a thing!

Amazing and authentic pizza every SINGLE time! The soft and crunchy ratio of their dough is just perfect(soo comforting that I can enjoy the crust on its own) They have variety of pizzas to choose from and on top of that you can ask for calzone version which makes me never get bored of eating from this place! Owner and staffs are very friendly! Honestly I’m so grateful that we have an amazing Italian place like this in Cardiff, I definitely recommend everyone to try this place!!

Great Romany pizza by the slice. This is not neopolitan pizza but the thicker crunchier style. The potato pizza is amazing and the pricing makes it an obvious treat snack. Great addition to the area and a truly different offering.

Really, really good pizza which is served quickly. I love the "by the slice" approach which is great for getting a smaller lunch to take to the park with the kids or friends. Was pleased to see they also serve full pizzas :D

Outstanding pizza, amazing tastes, fresh topping and without a doubt the tastiest and lightest base. How often have you had a pizza delivered where the base of the box is filled with grease and then there are Romeat pizzas,with nothing underneath the pizza, ensuring the base was as good as when it left the oven. It took a lot of will power not to order another. Great job and thank you.

Two of us went for lunch, intending to get a slice of pizza each. Went shared a whole one in the end and I am so glad we did. It was a great pizza, beautiful toppings and a perfect dough/crust. Very friendly service and really good value. There are several very good pizza places in the area, but RomEat is top of my list now.
