What
a
beautiful
little
spot.
It
was
the
beginning
of
July
when
I
went
here
and
it
was
not
too
hot.
The
700
metre
walk
to
the
bottom
of
the
top
falls
is
well
worth
the
cardio
exercise.
The
pools
at
the
base
are
inviting,
just
make
sure
that
you
take
all
the
necessary
precautions
and
follow
the
information
on
the
sign
boards.
This
is
not
your
local
pool,
or
beach
with
lifeguards,
and
you
alone
are
responsible
for
your
safety.
I'm
sure
that
there
are
not
many
people
that
have
visited
here
that
have
noticed
that
when
leaving
the
falls
you
can
actually
see
the
islands
off
the
coast.
(There
are
no
other
falls
that
I've
been
to
on
the
eastern
seaboard
where
you
can
see
islands
off
the
coast
from
the
The
lower
cascades
are
nice
for
those
less
abled
however
neither
waypoints
in
this
part
of
your
journey
are
wheelchair
accessible.
(For
this
there
are
other
waterfalls
and
cascades)
**Caveats
This
is
a
natural
creek
which
is
subject,
very
much
so,
to
the
rain
which
feeds
it.
The
stairs
are
many,
steep,
uneven
and
make
up
a
very
large
percentage
of
the
700
metre
walk.
Be
responsible
for
your
own
actions.
Don't
become
a
burden
on
emergency
services.
Do
not
jump/dive
into
any
water,
especially
natural
creeks
or
rivers.
Respect
nature
and
the
Indigenous
land
upon
which
you
are
walking.
Take
nothing
but
memories.
Leave
absolutely
nothing.
Take
out
what
you
take
in.
Your
mother
is
not
there
to
clean
up
after
you.
Don't
spoil
this
spot
for
those
that
follow.
Enjoy
your
life
:)
