I got an axalotle from this shop a few months ago. All seemed well. I purchased what I was told I needed and told I would only need 1 chemical, the prime conditioner. All was going well until my axalotle started to show signs of ammonia burn. I called up the shop, and they told me to do water changes with a few caps of prime. I did this for a few weeks, and my axalotle showed no signs of improvement, and neither did the tank. We were also going on holiday in a few weeks so I was worried he was going to pass while we where away I called up the shop and they where going to make me pay $130 a week to just feed him!! The food only costs $20 and can last a full year. So I decided to call up Majestic Aquariums, and the first time I went their and explained the problem, they knew exactly what to do and where the problem was. I discovered I only had 1 of 4 chemicals, and the tank had way more problems than just ammonia because of the lack of chemicals. They also sounded way more confident about what they were saying and anytime I called and needed help they where always really nice and helped out, and in the 3 weeks I have been working with them, my axalotle and tank are back to normal. If you own an axalotle and need help, I highly HIGHLY! recommend going to Majestic Aquariums instead of What's Fishy. If I didn't call Majestic and kept going with this shops advice, my axalotle would have died a week ago. Therfore 1 star

I had to move unexpectedly and I needed someone to look after my fish in between homes. Sam came to my house, collected my fish, helped me empty the tank and then stored my fish at his shop for 6 weeks until I had another tank arranged. He then came and set up the tank at my new place and treated the water until it was ready for the fish to move into. He answered all my questions and nothing was ever too much trouble. I love my new tank and am so glad to have my original fish back. Sam is so professional, knowledgeable, kind and has such a gentle and patient demeanour. I cannot recommend him highly enough and look forward to my continued dealings with him. A+++

Really kind, didn’t have what we needed for sale but he had stuff he uses for his tanks he gave to us for free, very helpful. Cares more about the customers than the money which is how you know it’s a great business, definitely coming back. <3

Great fish shop run by a young man that gets some of the harder fish to find in the aquarium game. Top notch service with great communication. I purchased a juvenile Saratoga and he even threw in the small enclosed floating container to keep my new addition safe from my larger fish till it grows out. 10/10

I drove 102km from Central Coast to Jannali to pick up my first wild caught Jardini. Sam is one of the best aquarium professionals with a flawless service attitude in Greater Sydney. He also sent me a message to ask about the settlement of new fish next day. This added on service is quite rare, but comforting in this industry. I do highly recommend What's Fishy Aquarium to be your aquarium consultant and supplier if you want to start one at home.
