Staff are great and understanding. Lost 1/2 a star here - because twice now, we have gone in to buy their delicious Custard and Strawberry filled donuts - but they dont have them mid week, and only 2 lots of Strawberry ones left this Friday 3-3-2023. We took the Strawberry, but did not bother completing our shop over this, just as well too! See below Instead we went to Aldi across the road and they were very good on price and super fast at the checkout. 1.5 stars lost because Morrisons had long queues of people trying to check out at the tills. Only a few tills left here now. :-( A BIG note here is that Morrisons have reduced the number of tills and now appear to have lots of self checking stations which we hate and refuse to use. Notably we saw that NO ONE was using the Self Check out tills. We think people have voted with their pockets on what they prefer here! Get your check out tills back! or we wont go through the hassle of shopping and waiting ages to pay cash, at Morrisons. That is a promise.

Hopeless. If you go in early morning you are faced with big gaps in the shelves or, access to items you want is blocked by large containers of goods where staff are filling the shelves. Why not open an hour later when the shelves have been filled, or bring your staff in earlier. Also the store is open until 2200 hrs but, the home baked goods counter was empty tonight at 1955 hrs for the rest of the trading day. Also gaps in the shelves did not seem to be replenished. Someone who understands the meaning of customer service needs to get hold of this store and give it a good shake up.

My own experience of this store was positive. This store is like your typical Morrisons store. They sell hot food (chicken wings and meats) as well as cold bakery items (e.g. cheese pastries, chicken pastries). Furthermore, there is a salad bar inside the shop. My family used the café. The menu is varied with a lot of options. The hot chocolate is good and warm. The combination of the hot chocolate and the cold pastry was great.

Stopped here for breakfast in the cafe on way down south, after waiting forever, breakfast came and it was cold, if we hadn't been on time schedule I would have returned it immediately, I couldn't eat it, tables were filthy, woman filling up sugar, cutlery etc station was wearing a coat and hat, no uniform in sight, looked like a member of the public. Absolute ridiculous, standards have dropped immensely, won't be back

Yes Morrison's a handy place. You fill up with fuel and wash your car. Do a shop and they a very good variety From clothes to food. You need stuff for your house they have it I left my bath towels at home went to Morrison's they saved the day Well done Morrisons

We were shamed and made to feel like some sort of criminal for redeeming a free school meal shopping voucher in store Appalling customer service. 5 members of staff could not scan one gift card. They did not have one brain cell enough between them to think to try another till. Self service an hour later after being treated like something on the bottom of their shoes, and I scanned it first time at a checkout. Rude, disgustingly judgmental staff who need training and /or reprimanding. Is this really the company that last holiday were offering free meals for kids?! What shaming did people have to go through in order to receive anything free I wonder?! Worst customer service ever received in any supermarket or cafe

Have not been for years….. for me the location is too far out of the way! Hired a car….. freedom - visited again. So impressed with choice and quality …. Will try and return 😊

I generally meet friends for coffee in the small cafe area nearer the door than the main cafe, and was disappointed to see that it is now being used as a display area for garden furniture. A shame, as it's more comfortable and relaxed than the main cafe.

First time going to this morrisons and I've got to say how grate it was to see so many products that other stores don't have, only down side was the price of your products where on the expensive side for example mayonnaise light or normal three to four pounds other stores charge 1.75 to 2 pound was not a very good selection of sandwiches or any meal deals some of the meal deal products sandwiches wraps were out of date or on date but out of time and a very rude floor supervisor I couldn't believe what he said to the till operative car and bris full name but his first name was Adam not sure what the floor supervisor was cold but on the tilt operative ask them for a question he then totally ignored him as he wanted to go to the toilet and refused him myself and another customer shook our heads at him and he still didn't do anything I felt sorry for Adam for not been able to go to the toilet when he needed to be inhuman so when that note other than that absolutely fantastic store

Place is a dive now!!! Who ever works the rotisserie counter needs sacked as they are never there to serve you!! Lady with 2 young children infront of us had been waiting ages to be served and no one came then same happened to us!! Salad bar food looked old and filthy plus everything was contaminated so health or religious reasons couldn't of touched any of it! The staff force must be made up of knuckle draggers now!

Due to the hot weather we wanted to get shopping early so checked the website for opening times as we wanted items from deli. However although the store opens early the deli apparently does not. Therefore wasted journey which was extremely annoying... Why is this not made clear on website? Then wanted to buy bread but found it it all full of emulsifiers which is totally unacceptable especially after the Panorama programme last week on this subject. Will not be visiting again, went back to Asda.

Lol had a breakfast it was terrible stone cold not the lasses fault the cashier gave us the wrong number it had been made 10 mins before they realised but still brought it over irs probably still on the table

Quick tip: If you're ever told the food is only a few minutes away, make sure to get a refund. It's so much worse if you have to wait another half an hour, while other people get theirs. Even though it was Morrison's fault their system malfunctioned, they'll pretend the food is almost ready. An hour later, you'll get it. I don't mind waiting as long as I'm told the truth, but I just hate liars.

I am not normally a great Morrisons fan as my previous experience, in Scotland has been of a tired run down supermaret. But this carlisle store is really very good. Well maintained and has a wide range of excellent produce....bakery counter a real bonus.

Great big shop, very clean and great helpful staff. Stopped in on our way back to Scotland for a booze run. (Cheaper than Scotland for alcohol 🍸)

Loads of parking in the car park. Store is large with a great choice of products in every department. Staff were friendly and helpful when we couldn't find what we wanted to buy. Plenty of checkouts open with cashiers which was great. Getting out of the car park is harder than getting in. Petrol station is on the left towards the exit.

Really poor service when it comes to getting your hot food, placed an order and not all come out and when we mentioned this to staff it felt like we were liar's and said it wasn't on there order but on our receipt. Wouldn't recommend coming here due to poor attitude of staff as they go around there work like they don't want to be there. Would give zero stars if I could. Very disappointed

I would like to give a BIG, make that MASSIVE shout out to the Security Guard on duty tonight around the time of 18:40 *time on my receipt* I was at a self-scanning till, having just bought some plasters (just cut my thumb) with said thumb covered by a part tubular bandage, the blood oozing through. He asked me what I'd done so I told him. As I was exiting the store I heard "Stop, wait!" He approached me with 2x Wound Cleansing Wipes and 1x 10cmx10cm Sterile dressing and told me to get these on ASAP, as it is I live in the Edentown area so not far to travel. I hope by the info given he can be credited for this kind deed even if I did thank him at the time.

Went to the cafe for something to eat before shopping and it was such a disappointment. First 3 tables we went to were dirty (although clear) then when food came it was barely warm. Did not have time to complain or look for staff to do so! However lesson learned and we won’t be back.

Most of the times I have been here there is no one at the fish counter! I have waited so long many times, finished my shopping and come back but no one! On Thursday, saw the fishmonger walking around all over the store! Waited and waited but he did not come to the fish counter! Eventually I had to leave and buy my fish elsewhere!!

We only had a brief one time visit on our way down to Manchester. We needed to refresh and use the toilet. What was good is that where I live the nearest Morrisons is miles away, and tesco/Asda have stopped selling the mini individual cereal boxes (not the variety pack) but Morrisons do, so was a cracking good stop. The Morrisons store and car park are as drabb as any other supermarket, zero thought to architecture. 3/5 🖖

I found Morrisons store seemingly a bit random in its layout and thus it took awhile to find what I was looking for. Some items seemed illogical in their location. Like all places when you get use to them they're fine.

Visited here to see what it's like as they don't have any stores at home in Northern Ireland. It was much like Asda and had very friendly staff, particularly the security guard. Good value for money also. Recommended!

Morrisons has become more expensive lately in comparison with competition Almond essence was £1,69. It is 69p only in Lidl. When I queried this I was told "well everythigs going up isn't it*

Stopped here when passing through for a quick meal at the cafe. Great service where the lady on the counter went over and above to look after us.

Always a lot of choice and the in-store fresh services such as the bakers and butchers are always of great quality, especially the fresh flowers. Prices have increased a lot recently which is a shame.

Half the time shelves not fully stocked. Cafe pathetically slow, bacon enemic and half cooked, tough sausages, tomatoes the size of marbles, egg hard and coffee cold before meal arrived. Money wasted. Shame used to be very good
