I see all the positive reviews and realize I must have just been there on a bad night but still felt it was important to share. I went on Wednesday June 21st and had some of the worst service ever. The server's grandkids were seated at the table behind me and she spent more time visiting with them then ever coming to my table. After I got my menu it took at least 15 minutes for her to come back and take my order. Keep in mind the restaurant was about 50% empty so it definitely wasn't busy. I ordered a cocktail, the walleye wild rice burger, and fries. 20 minutes go by and I watch her visit her grandkids(walking by me each time) at least 4 times, clear tables, get herself something to drink, etc. and I never end up getting the drink I ordered. Food came out and the walleye wild rice burger was flavorless and the fries tasted like fried fish foods(warning for anyone who might have a seafood allergy as they must use the same fryer). I finally am able to get my check and the server again is too busy with her grandkids to grab my card and ring me up so I can finally leave. She even takes one behind the bar with her while the other goes with dad to the bathroom. All while passing my card sitting at the edge of my table another half dozen times. My water had also sat empty most of this time and was never refilled once. I travel alone a lot, I've put in 7,500 miles in the last 6 weeks and eaten out most of the meals and this was unfortunately the worst service I have gotten everywhere I have been.

This place is a hidden gem. It's a short drive off the freeway, but most certainly worth the stop. Staff was welcoming and hospitabale. Food was excellent. Portions were large. Prices were reasonable. They have a surprising great selection of local craft beers. They offer a flight of beer for a criminally low $6! They have TVs with sports on. The menu has healthy and hearty options--something for everyone to enjoy. We definitely will be back.

If the owner is busy and you ask to pay over the phone he says he won't. Then when I ask why, he gets mad and says just come in I dont have time for that. So I called back to try and pay over the phone again and he canceled my order and said i was acting like a manchild because he wants to be rude and not perform his actual job. Great ownership! I always pay before i pick up my food and tip good Because if you don't pay first you end up waiting 10 min for someone to help you. Horrible service. Owner is a joke. I eat from there twice a week and today the way I was treated (by the owner) I will never go back. Smallest restaurant around but most expensive. $20 for a BLT AND fries. Because fries aren't included with your meal. Save your money time and go somewhere else.

Ate there for dinner and breakfast and it was delicious both times with nice customer service and family friendly atmosphere. Free street parking.

Not sure why this place is called Streetcar when nothing inside or outside resembles one at all. You could easily have a train theme going! Food was not very good either. Fish tacos were kind of a joke with a tiny fish stick that is considered to be walleye. It was not even good walleye either. Also, servers were just at the bar gossiping about what customers were doing. It was starting to get annoying. Go in the kitchen and do that. Food was not worth $40....

Solid hamburger and delicious salad. Loved them both and would recommend. The onion rings weren't my favorite style but still tasted good. Very friendly server.

We had a group of 12. They set us up in a room. The wait staff was wonderful. Everyone's order came as ordered. Kaitlyn did an amazing job all around. My breakfast as do big, I had it 3 mornings.

My go to stop after a good hike at Jay Cooke! The Southern fried chicken sandwich is mouthwatering. They also have seasoned sour cream! Definitely stop here.

The food was amazing and the service was excellent. We will definitely stop in again when we travel through to Duluth. Cute little town❤️. The Jay Cooke wrap and the Voyager sandwich were awesome.

Everything we ordered was amazing… but the onion rings stole the show 🤩🤩. I’m not usually one to order onion rings but I am SO glad I did! The onion melts into the crispy breading. Will definitely be back!

Small town Cafe with a robust menu of appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, wraps a more with a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The deep fried pickles are some of the best that you will find in the area. The burger and chicken sandwich were good. We would definitely return! Update: We visited again on 10/7, and nothing changed. That's good! We ordered deep fried pickles, beer, Firehouse Burger, and a walleye sandwich. We had a good conversation with the owner's spouse. It was another positive experience.

Service was quick and the food and cocktails were so tasty. The pan-fried walleye was the best piece of fish I've had in a long time and the tartar was in-house made and so good! Next time I'm in town, I'm going back.

Food was great. We had the pub steak and Cajun pasta. The pasta was to die for. The steak was good but a little underwhelming. It was under seasoned and didn’t really have a whiskey flavor. The sautéed veggies were phenomenal. Whatever season they put on the veggies I wish was on the steak. Nonetheless it was still very good.

Great place! We had the Walleye dinner, pan fried, and it was delicious! The veggies were very good as well as the crispy fries. 😁 Maddie, our server, was super friendly and so helpful. I had a slight mixup with my order and she fixed it right away. So nice! The portions were huge...but it was so good, we didn't need any to go boxes. Oink🐷! I'll just work out tomorrow. 🤪 Thanks again, for a great dinner.

Nice place to eat while staying at the Fond du Lac campground about 20 minutes away. We ate out on their patio and it was a beautiful evening. Walleye tacos and walleye meal were very tasty. Nice cold beer too! Our server Kaylie did an awesome job taking care of our family while dining there. Highly recommended for a fun place to eat.

This place is a local must stop. The brisket burgers are tasty. The menu is eclectic, although a bit too large. Fried pickles were kinda disappointing but fries were good! Good local beer taps.

Good, attentive service, even during the dinner rush. I enjoyed the outside seating area. I had the Walleye Sandwich. It was ok, I was hungry and ate the whole thing quickly. It was pretty bland, served on a naked bun with lettuce and tomato slices. I appreciated the lemon wedge, and used it to add some flavor to the fish. This was my first time eating walleye, the texture was nice and flakey, but it didn't taste like anything. It was served with a tartar sauce that was very sweet, I didn't care for it. $16 for the sandwich, $7 for a 12oz draft beer.

The food was really good, we ate outside and although the sun was setting, it was still in need of shade. We really enjoyed all of the food and watching a train go by was an added bonus. The place was hopping for a Tuesday dinner time, which gets to the 1 missing star. The food took 45 min to finally arrive, although it was hot and tasty. There were also soooo many flies around. It was not ideal. That being said I would definitely eat there again!
