One of my favorite parks in Indiana. It always has well-kept areas, you can see families walking or having a picnic, and it is pet friendly ♡

Not your typical "playground" but a great way for children to explore imaginative play.

Gorgeous children's garden with excellent setup for imaginative play including toy store, garden center, and other buildings/businesses. So many whimsical installations, too, like the snake shaped walkway surrounded by native rattlesnake master plants. I really, really enjoyed the plentiful plantings of native species. Or was great walking through identifying them with my family. The water/wetland area is also beautiful and I enjoyed the wooden walkway through the water.

If you want to spend time outdoors with your kids, there is a lovely area with playhouses and a small slide. The whole park has plenty of trails both paved and unpaved. The landscape looks spectacular year round. The park gets dressed up sometimes with holiday themed decor. This park hosts outdoor events from community concerts to private weddings. Also, If you want to be alone and relax there are plenty of spaces to do just that. There is much more to do, try visiting the park to find out for yourself.

What a beautiful place to visit in Indiana!! More parking spaces. Two entrances and there are so many things to explore. There’s Jazz music with the bands, children garden so super cute and creative. My siblings and I had a great time. There are people walking their dogs, I got to pet them, flowers, and people shooting videos for music videos. Best place for photoshoot and relaxing. Highly recommend for the guests to visit😉

Beautiful park! The play area is low-key but wonderful! I highly recommend spending some time here on beautiful days just walking around and taking in the sights.

This is an exquisite park for jogging, photography, and much more. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to soak up some sun, a quick walk to get your blood pumping, or pokemon go gyms to overtake, this is a nice little spot to relax and feel a little bit posh. The centerpiece is a lovely backdrop for photos, but also a good workout running up and down the steps. There is no traditional playground for children, instead a small village for playing make believe. But this park's absolute best part and hidden gem is the small wetlands area in the back right corner. Enjoy a short but adventurous stroll through tall, native plants and tiptoe across the wooden footbridge in hopes of catching sight of a sunbathing snake! This small, fishless pond is habitat to some seriously amazing little critters, including frogs, turtles, muskrats, hummingbird moths, several bee species, red winged blackbirds, golden finches, and many, many more!!

Beautiful park to take a walk with family and/or your dog. Kids area with a playground, two scenic clock towers, a bridge and amphitheater as well as a couple of beautiful water features.

This place has so many unique things for the young and young at heart. I'm a photographer and this has been one of my favorite places to see Herons and Egrets. Will continue to come here for years to come.

I love Coxhall Gardens for many reasons. The location is super convenient in Carmel and usually pretty less crowded due to the sheer size and landscape at the location. It’s always beautiful to see engagement and wedding shoots and family picnics at the same time. The gardens has a beautiful amphitheater, a kids park which is so vibrant and colorful with benches, swings and spaces to play.

No matter the season or weather, Coxhall Gardens is ALWAYS beautiful! I am an Indianapolis wedding + engagement photographer, so I frequent Coxhall Gardens for all kinds of couples photos. I'm always quick to recommend this park for all engagement pictures because it has so many unique, special areas for photos and is central to the Indy area. Love it!

This park is such a hidden gem. It's a little away from the city, but so worth the drive. My Fiancée and I had our engagement photos taken here, and there are so many different environments- greenery, cool structures, bridges, a pond/creek. Its also a great place to relax! Very clean, wasn't too crowded, and so much space

beautiful spot for prom pictures. only problem is there were so many people trying to take photos it was hard to get pictures without other people in the background.

Did a photo shoot for a friend and the photos will be great. Just the nicest place. So many places to shoot that you can't go wrong. And so many people here enjoying the unseasonably warm weather. Just a beautiful place to relax and hang out for an afternoon. Love it here.

Wonderful park and amphitheater. Lakes, acres of greenspace, walking paths, and a mansion museum on site. Very relaxing!

I got married here and still take my kids (5 & 7) to the butterfly garden. It's not a typical playground but they use their imaginations to play games they can't at other playgrounds. They l have fun climbing on top of the tunnels, which are designed to be played on, and playing in the sandpit. The little village is fun but I recommend bringing toys for more use of this area. My kids don't play there too much without "props." I love the plants throughout. The most surprising and pleasant for me is that we bring lunch here and despite the native plants, there aren't bees and bugs that linger while we eat or I read while the kids play. In 2022 my husband and I came back to the venue after we had our anniversary date. It was dark and there seemed to be a lot of shady things going on there and way too many people just to be sitting around but the daytime isn't as weird. I'll imagine the Ritz, who manages the venue for weddings, is able to keep the area under control for evening/night weddings which would be absolutely gorgeous btw.

You can bring your own chair or they have available seating. Stage is set up great and so much green scenery! We were at a free concert and it was amazing! The sun was shining despite the little rain. Children and dogs are welcomed there also!

It's a very nice clean walking park. It has an interesting play area for children. The paths are paved and mostly flat. It's very well maintained and nicely landscaped.
