I went to sign up and the staff was very friendly and very informative. I had a wonderful experience as soon as I walked in. I love the location, the equipment, the hydro massage beds and the tanning beds. I love planet fitness.

The location is fine but needs work. The lockers in the locker room are already showing signs of wear which makes it feel cheap. The floors of the locker room need cleaning more regularly during the winter. The masking policy is not enforced when I have worked out unfortunately.

We have been going to Planet Fitness gyms' in Illinois for about 9 months and now we are being told that we have to cancel our old membership and sign up again. We got out of the military and we were driving home so we decided to sign up with planet fitness (black card membership) because they are everywhere and we thought if you signed up to one planet fitness you could go to all of them. Now out of nowhere this gym in Carol stream wants us to either pay a 5$ fee everyday, or cancel our California gym and sign up again, paying the fees all over again.

I joined a couple of years ago, and this place was always so clean and all the machines were working well. Unfortunately in the last 6 months, it has changed management and the gym has taken a dive. The girls bathroom has a non-working sink that’s been broken for many months. As well as the soap dispensers. The girls bathroom isn’t as clean as it use to be. Sinks look dirty and floors and stall walls are dusting and dirty looking. There are a few machines that are broken (non working), a couple now for months. The floors in the gym use to look so clean, last 6 months, they look dirty and unswept. I’m so disappointed, but I still go there because its so close to my house. But as of today, I’ve been thinking of going elsewhere. It’s such a shame.

Going on my 3rd year here. Gym is kept clean and all employees are great. 2nd revised review. Last 5 months have had 1 rope after a review they bought 2 for 30 ropes. 1 lasted a week so back to 1. Now the other has lost the bump stop. Ask about them and same old run around. Clearly ownership likes to take your money but not put it back into gym. 1 curl bar as well. If you want to focus on cardio you're set here. If weight training is your thing join another gym where memberships matter. I'll be exploring other options now for training. It's too bad because it actually has nice people and very well kept clean. Cheap equipment doesn't last long and neither will memberships...

I love this location! Clean, staff is chill, so much equipment ❤️‍🔥 It seems to be less crowded then other locations which is nice too!

I was a little leery after some recent reviews but I found this PF staff very friendly, the facility clean and nothing I used was broken. There were also many and a variety of weight machines, you just had to walk past the rows of treadmills, bikes, and ellipticals. I liked how they had weight machines grouped by body part, abs, lower body, and upper body. I was visiting from out of town and will return again!

I work out there almost everyday, clean, staff is friendly and I would say this location is a lot bigger than the others.

I have been working out at this location since june every day. Overall, the gym is fine, and the equipment is fine too, but if a machine is broken, they just leave it and not fix it. In total there are three machines which have been broken for the past 2 months and when I complained to the management they said it would be fixed in 2 weeks that was 1 month ago. The manager chris doesn't seem to care about this issue.

The front desk people are so rude it's uncomfortable everytime coming in they roll their eyes &look away

Came here for the summer high school free pass and so far the gym is pretty clean and nobody really cares what to do which is a plus for me.

Cool facility. Friendly staff, lots of equipment. The major issue is that they have a hundred treadmills but barely any weights and strength building equipment for when it's crowded.

Amazon place to work out super clean and the machines are in perfect conditions

This was my favorite Planet Fitness location so far out of 4 different locations I've been. Unfortunately, I moved to another neighborhood and I miss this location!

I visit different planet fitnesses throughout the week depending where I’m working but this is my home gym where I work out most often. It’s always very clean and kept up. Locker rooms and black card amenities are always clean .

This is a great gym, especially for beginners. They have a lot of good equipment for a variety of exercises, all for a reasonable price. Staff are pretty friendly and do a good job of keeping the place clean.

Cancelation process is horrible. When you move you still have to come to your home club to cancel the membership. I don’t recommend planet fitness. It’s the worst gym ever.

It was my first trip to the gym post-COVID. It didn't have that gross "gym" smell. Locker rooms were spacious and clean. I went around midnight, and although there wasn't a huge crowd, I was still surprised to see a decent number of people there. Once I get established with my new night shift routine, I'll be making more trips soon!

Plenty of gym equipment. I've never experienced it to be uncomfortably busy or crowded. The only complaint is some of the medicine balls and the other similar balls that are like weighted basketballs are split and need to be replaced. All this for $10/month!

A huge fitness place, evidently in a former supermarket. Rarely feels crowded, and most of the equipment is in good repair, and the place is kept very clean. The staff is generally attentive and helpful. Excellent place to keep fit, if you live nearby as I do.
