This is now an 'asylum hotel'. You will now see gangs of young men loitering around the immediate area. It presents a danger to local residents, so guests staying so at their own risk.

Hotel for Asylum seekers/refugees better treatment here than what most of our elderly community gets. Turns my stomach to know that our own country is struggling and people will no doubt die over winter due to the cold and energy bills yet here we have people getting a warm place to stay, hot food, pocket money and transport. Loughshore happy to take the £ notes as usual.

First time staying in this hotel. Nice size of room and bathroom. Room was clean. Reception staff were very helpful and nice. Enjoyed the breakfast apart from the fried mushrooms they were cold and weren't cooked enough for my liking. But over all a very pleasant stay.

Food has been terrible everytime i hae been here went for mothers day cavery and the whole set up was shocking reminded me off a soap kitchen set up in a disaster situation will never be back everytime ive been there weddings etc foods horrible hotel has no class and is just cheap

Had a fabulous Christmas night out. Food was delicious, staff were helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The atmosphere was fantastic and the group 'the iconettes' were phenomenal. The rooms were large and comfortable. A thoroughly amazing night

I went there for a wedding and it was fantastic! Super beautiful and so many places for us to chill and mingle with each other and get drinks. Then they moved us up to a beatiful dining room they had set up and hosted a great wedding and then let us dance the night away always taking care of us and then cleaning up for us at the end of the night. A great wedding venue!

We stayed at the Loughshore Hotel for 5 nights last week in an upper floor room, with our coach tour. The whole experience was one of courteous and friendly welcoming from the outset. Meals were varied and delicious; rooms were large, clean, quiet and comfortable, public areas were well maintained and similarly clean and comfortable. The staff from reception, through dining room, housekeeping and entertainment, were polite, courteous and friendly. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and would gladly return in the future.

Room was clean, but they were doing construction right outside the window. I was told by the desk that they wont start making noise until a reasonable hour but at 6am I could hear all of the machines moving around getting ready to start. The windows were too thin to drown that out. The room rates were reasonable and the bar was convenient. I'd consider staying again after all the construction is finished.

I can only judge this place on its Sunday Carvery, I'm a fussy eater so it really wasn't my cup of tea but the food wasn't all that good & at £17 a head you would have to eat a lot to get your money's worth. It was chosen by other members of the family to celebrate 2 special events without consulting the rest of us so needless to say I didn't eat there the 2nd time but I could have as no one checked who had paid or not as ours was paid in advance as a large group. Nice enough place, clean, helpful and friendly staff but just not for me.

Had a Sunday carvery with family for brother in laws birthday. The food was excellent and much better than the previous visit about 6 month ago. The waiting staff were also alot better than before; all actually had smiles, were helpful and there were enough on for the whole dining room.

The hotel is nicely situated close to my kids favourite indoor play centre. The many function rooms are spacious. Plenty of parking spaces. Staff are friendly food is pretty good. Great selection of alcoholic beverages available if you can affird them! as they are a little pricey.

Got married here. One of the best days of my life. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend it to everyone. Food was lovely also. All round brilliant time there.

A truly wonderful hotel. Spotlessly clean and fantastic customer service. My only little moan was with regards to breakfast, it was stated that it was available till 11am however on arrival at the dining room there was nobody around to serve me and a notice on the wall informed that breakfast was only served till 10am.... I was there at 9.55am???? So unfortunately I left disappointed and hungry!!! Truthfully, regardless of that I had a great stay.☺️

Visited the hotel a number of times never had a bad thing to say about the place . Good food clean rooms cheap .

Was at this hotel for my sister's wedding and my cousins both times had a fantastic time and the staff where so helpful and the food was amazing even the breakfast worth a stay in my books

We had our wedding here in 2016, the staff, the food, the atmosphere was second to none, couldn't fault them one bit, the honeymoon suite is a little piece of heaven, between the massive bed that you could lay in for days to the jacuzzi bath, heaven! We've been back a couple of times and the place just keeps getting better and better

I cannot put into words how great this hotel is. Staff, accommodation, value and sheer politeness - can't wait to go back!
