    Food was lovely, nothing fancy but very tasty, good portions, great value. And serve proper marrowfat mushy peas with fish!!

    I have been to the Valley Lodge a couple of times since moving to Ireland, my first eating out experience was here and the service was excellent. Food was amazing and was brought out really quickly and was piping hot. Atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly and the staff are always happy to help where they can. Have been a few times and would recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat out in Carrickmacross
