Very cool experience! Came here a few years ago. We did the short tour, then we did the after-hours tour. The after-hours tour was about 3 hours. We went much deeper into the cave. The guide was very cool and professional. Be sure to wear clothing you wouldn't care to get dirty or wet! Grippy boots are also recommended.

Very unique. Great tour guide. My first Midwest cavern. Narrow, steep, wet. More cave like than limestone caverns of the smokies. This one offers an evening wild tour! Two nights a week. You do need advance for that one!

The tour was really good, our guide was really funny and kind. They have a beautiful gift shop and a near little museum. My teenage daughter loves getting to pan for her own gems.. would definitely recommend good shoes and get prepared to get a little wet.

The cave had some cool features inside. I think there is room for improvement on the tour scripts it's mostly done by the owners kids/teenagers. She was pleasant just not what I would have expected or experienced from other cave tours.

I'm not one for adventuring and this had every fear of mine but man that was so so beautiful. And it wouldn't of been doable without Adam our amazing tour guide and a nice group! They were very knowledgeable and versed in the history of this cave and other nearby caves. The main building was so cool and they had a museum!! All for a really modest price. I can see why people would want to be married here. And the gift shop has an awesome selection of rocks.

Very cool cave!! So glad we detoured to check it out!! Eric is a great tour guide! He knew the history of the cave forward & backward and shared his knowledge with a side of humor...quite engaging! We also met Shala, another cave tour guide, and she was wonderful to visit with as well!!

I’d ask for Adam as your tour guide! He was fantastic and it was a super cool experience. There’s no need to dress warm! The temperature is great and it’s not too muddy down there. The store has a lot of fun trinkets for the kids, and a few snack for after. I would recommend making sure you have eaten beforehand.

I loved our tour! Prices for the cave were reasonable for 4 people. The staff was very friendly and very informative. As of today they offer a “Wild Tour” for after hours. Unfortunately we weren’t able to do it but we definitely will next time we visit if it’s still offered!

Our tour guide Chester was a wealth of information and fun stories. This is probably my favorite cave I've ever been toured. I really will just have to let the pictures do the talking on this one.

We stopped by here on our way home from Branson. Best decision. Cosmic Caverns is beautiful. Chester was so knowledgeable and it was so awesome to hear about how he discovered parts of the cave himself and his work trying to preserve this cave and others. I loved hearing the science behind how parts of the cave were formed. Chester’s love for his job and passion for preservation were infectious. Not only does he help manage the cave but his wife and daughter work there as well. I highly recommend stopping by and seeing them and taking a tour. Our tour lasted an hour and a half and we all could have stayed longer. We will definitely go back in the future for another visit!

Kind of a weird experience. The cavern itself was fine. Nothing too special, but still had some interesting features. The tour guide on the other hand was really annoying the entire time. We weren't the only ones who thought that, other guests there also commented on her very odd demeanor. We couldn't wait to get done and leave.

Pam our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny! My kids loved the whole experience, especially seeing the little cave frogs. Be prepared to go down narrow stairs, duck to clear low ceilings and get dripped on. I love that it isn't too commercialized and sterile like other caves I've been too, you will get a little dirty!

Definitely worth the stop if you’re nearby, the caves were beautiful! Unfortunately our guide was extremely new and didn’t have as much information on the history of everything as we would’ve wanted. Still very glad we went and got to experience the beauty!

My daughters loved every second, it can be a bit challenging to navigate the cave as stated in other reviews but our guide was more than helpful and told us every single time we were about to walk through a challenging area, as long as you pay attention you will make it through without slipping or bumping your head! I wish I could remember the name of our tour guide but she was more than amazing, she was very committed to telling the stories about the history of the cave and knew the names of all the various formations throughout the cave! I hope to visit again some day :)

Cosmic Cavern is undeniably a “must-see” attraction in Northwest Arkansas, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a history buff, or simply looking for a unique and enjoyable outing, this cave has something for everyone. Don’t miss the opportunity to explore the subterranean wonders of Cosmic Cavern and be guided by the knowledgeable and charismatic “Cave Cowboy.” It’s an adventure you won’t soon forget.

So worth it!! Go to this cave!! Be prepared for stairs (keep your hands clear of "stuff" so you can maneuver the walk with both hands). Wear good shoes. No sweater needed. A comfortable 64 degrees.

Friendly staff and tour guide. We got there and waited about 15-20 minutes for the tour to start. The tour guide did a good job of mixing in some interesting facts about the cave amongst the corny jokes :-) Highly recommended- it’s a beautiful hour long drive from Fayetteville, and Eureka Springs is just 20 minutes away so we grabbed lunch there on our way home.

Not merely a cave tour, but an adventure! A beautiful cave, accompanied by a first rate narration by Chester, our tour guide. Lots to see, with a variety of structures. Easy parking and a charming gift shop. Highly recommended for cave lovers and anyone adventurous. There are a lot of steps, but it is worth it and Chester is super patient with anyone who moves slowly.

I absolutely loved touring the Cosmic Cavern. Besides the beauty, our tour guide Chester made us feel welcome and I felt as if we were not a bother. Chester is not your typical tour guide either. He knows his caves and has years of experience. He is truly the best. I talked to him about exploring more caves myself, and he gave me such good information on how I can get started and what it will take. He went above and beyond. Thank you Chester for all you do and I truly cannot wait to meet you again and learn about the mysteries that lay underground.

This place was amazing our guide was awesome!! Our guide I can’t remember his name ( might have been Adam)but he had nice dark long hair and was very knowledgeable in everything and made the experience that much more awesome!!!!! In one of the picture you can see a wolf man type face I will be going back to do the extra tour next time! I give this place and the works 10 plus star review

It had rained a lot beforehand, so we couldn't reach the last part of our tour due to the water, so our tour guide went over the water for us all and took pictures of what we couldn't see, and then sent it to us as promised. I had a great time, all of the workers were nice.

Cavern was beautiful. Our tour guide, I can’t remember her name but believe it starts with an M, was amazing and fun. I enjoyed all aspects of the tour.

A very nice cave to visit -- much larger than I expected. Our tour guide was excellent, very engaging and made the small children in our group feel at ease. I was not expecting the underground lakes, so that was a nice surprise. Well worth visiting if in the area.

Gorgeous cave! I have been in many many caves this one is GORGEOUS and definitely worth seeing if you are in this area. Staff was ALL incredibly helpful, tour guide was GREAT! She was entertaining, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun! A great time for all ages!

Flipper and Layla were great tour guides! We came with a large group and had no difficulty getting tickets and the staff were super friendly and even gave great recommendations on where to grab a bite. The caves are fantastic, would come again. Can’t wait to try the wild tour next time! Wear sturdy shoes with good tread in case the floors or the stairs are wet.

Very wonderful experience! Our tour guide was a retired geologist! This made the tour even better! He not only knew vast amounts of information but he respected the cavern. He had some very good jokes also! 😊

Stopped by on our way back home from Branson. If you have any physical limitations going up or down stairs, or bending over, this would not be a good tour to take. The steps are steep and there is a couple of areas that you have to bend over and walk through. We enjoyed the tour. $20 a person . Our guide was awesome. The Wild Tour was not available on this day. I gave it 3 stars for limited access for people that might not be able to go on the tour because of physical limitations. Also, I have been to Carlsbad Caverns in the past, so I have to compare the experiences to each other. Again, do not go if you are not able to navigate very steep stairs.

I had the absolute honor of being allowed to attend one of the wild tours. If you are experienced with caves and experience caver I highly recommended. The staff here went above and beyond to accommodate my friend and my request and were absolutely incredible guides and people. I highly recommend visiting cosmic caverns!

I've been in many caves but still enjoyed this one. The guide made it interesting without feeling like we were just burning time. The lakes were intriguing and made for some good photos.

My partner and I are road-tripping around the US, and we have been to many cave/cavern tours across the nation. I’d say 20+, which is probably more than any person should do. This one was definitely one of our favorites, chiefly because of our tour guide Adam. His knowledgeable tour information was peppered with well timed and witty humor that we greatly enjoyed, and had us laughing and learning the whole time. He was able to answer tons of questions thrown his way, and made sure everyone in the group was comfortable and didn’t push themselves into precarious spots. The cave itself was beautiful as well, but definitely go and request Adam.

Absolutely amazing experience. The only thing you will regret is not having visited this place sooner. Our guide (Steve) was friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable which made the tour all the more memorable. This is one of the most undisturbed and pristine living caves you could ever hope to visit in the Ozarks, due to the relatively recent new chamber discoveries. It was truly awe inspiring to be walking through a place humans had never set foot in before the early 90s, and with such magnificent formations to see. The cave was relatively easy to get through as a tourist but if you are a spelunker, there's a tour for that too (that I'm now planning to do one day.) Enjoy the scenic drive getting there, be sure to bring your camera, and immerse yourself in nature's beautiful splendor.
