I have always had extreme and unrelenting anxiety when it comes to dentists. I had a horrible experience when I was younger and it’s made going to the dentist very difficult for me since I was a child. I have never had a dentist that helped me as much as Josey Lane Dentistry has and continues to. Everyone does a great job at making me comfortable, while also making me feel understood with my level of anxiety. Angela lets me hold her hand when I get numbing shots, and talks me through every step during exams since she knows it puts me at ease. Dr. Penchan always makes it a more positive experience whether it be with her humor, or rooting me on through my toughest parts in procedures. Both these and other staff members have made going to the dentist a much less dreadful task and I can not express my appreciation enough! I would highly suggest Josey Lane Dentistry in general, but especially if you or maybe even your child have dental anxiety! :)

I LOVE this group! No matter who I choose for my cleaning, always top-notch. Both dentists are awesome and love to see Mary, even if only briefly.

My father -in-law is receiving such great dental care at Josey Lane Dentistry. Their compassionate, and competent care of the dental needs of the elderly are such a gift. They are filling a unique need, and I would recommend them to anyone - but especially the elderly population. If I didn’t already have a great dentist I would make Josey Lane Dentistry my dentist too.

I’ll be honest and name that I hate going to the dentist! However, Josey Lane Dentistry does an exceptional job providing quality care with minimum pain. The doctors and staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend!

After an extended time of jaw and ear pain, and an unsuccessful visit to my (now) previous dentist (who did absolutely nothing for me), I discovered a broken tooth late on a Thursday evening. Up all night in pain, I discovered that Josey Lane Dental had emergency appointments that you could book online yourself. I was able to book a Friday appointment for 7:00 A.M. from the comfort of my home at 5:00 A.M the same morning (which was a huge relief). When I got to the office at 6:55 everyone was so kind and understanding. They acted quickly, but with kindness and sympathy, which my pain soaked and sleep deprived brain needed. They took care to be gentle yet efficient, and explained in detail all that they were doing/would do. Once the not-so-great news of losing my tooth was delivered, they were again patient with my tears, and even going as far as finding an oral surgeon that would fit me in that same day. I have never had such a difficult experience go as smoothly and with such compassion as I received here. Thank you to Dr. Scaggs and her whole team!

After years of avoiding dental visits, I cannot express enough the relief of finding Josey Lane Dentistry. Needed an emergency tooth extraction and the entire staff from setting appt until procedure complete made the process so easy. Both Dr. Skaggs and Dr. Penchan put me at ease, are highly knowledgeable, and extremely emphatic. Dental technician (Mary) was with me the whole time answering all questions and keeping me at ease. I walked away feeling like I just had a visit with friends. I highly recommend to anyone who has extreme anxiety of a dental appt. The entire staff changed my whole perception after a lifetime of avoiding the dentist. Now I look forward to getting back on track of a dental regime. Big thanks to everyone at Josey Lane Dentistry!

I was in town visiting friends and had a dental emergency. They were able to get me in a few hours later and were so wonderful. From the front staff to the dentists, everything was amazing. They are very kind and comforting and really helped me to feel at ease. Highly recommend this office.

I am so grateful to have found this Dental office. Everyone is so friendly and Dr. Scaggs is caring and knowledgeable. It has been one of my best experiences at a Dental office by far!
