Been training BJJ here for the last three months. I’ve always wanted to train BJJ for most of my adult life and finally got the courage to walk through the doors. You get great instruction from both coach Daniel and Coach Yousef. Several members go consistently and are tough partners to train with (only makes you better). The gym has a balanced mix of both No Gi and Gi so that you have variety in your training and the skills acquired. If you’re looking for a great BJJ gym, Star is it. Come over and train. I have been training with Yousef and Mohsen for over 15 years. They are extremely knowledgeable and teach at a high level every class. I have looked at other schools and know that these Coaches can offer technical and well rounded skills in a GI or No Gi. If you are trying to join a school, look at the level of accomplishment these 2 Coaches have and train high level guys too. I learn something new every time I train. They are the best!!

Known Yousef and trained at Star since I was a kid, 13 years old now 30. His mentorship on and off the mat helped shape my future for the better in ways I can never repay. Anybody with kids looking to teach discipline, humility, community this is one of the best places to do it.

Great place to train. If you a serious about self defense or competing in competition, this is the school for you. Is also for you if you are just trying to get back in shape and lose a few pounds. I am in my 50's and am getting in better shape each class. They have something for everyone, including a great kids program. The owner is a world champion in several different styles of martial arts and is truly a great guy.

My go to place for brazilian jiu jitsu, followed my original coach Daniel to this place after initial gym closed down and it's been an amazing experience. Yousef is the head coach and has good knowledge base for all the grappling, will answer any questions asked during class, plus it's a great learning environment too. All those who train are great partners, looking to help you improve and there is a relaxing yet strong vibe here. I always get a chance to ask questions after class as well, Yousef and others who train regularly here are open to drilling and helping even after class ends. Love it, highly recommend!!

I can see why all 5 star reviews. I was up from Houston called got a great welcoming on the phone. Head coach who was out of country would be very proud everyone was friendly and inviting. Being a guest I was asked if I was interested in any lesson in particular . When it came time to roll I was asked in the best way ever if I wanted a flow roll or a death match. I was asked way more eloquently than that. It was the perfect way to see what type of bjj guy I was. I got to roll with nothing but black belts. Had a blast and will return. (I picked flow roll)

Star Jiu Jitsu provides great instructors and a great learning environment. Coach Youself and Coach Mohlson care deeply about the progression of their students and find ways to adapt to different individuals style of learning. Students in this school are very friendly, accomodating, and able to provide a wealth of knowledge as well. I would highly recommend this school to anyone interested in learning Jiu Jitsu.

Recently joined this gym, having no MMA experience was a bit nervous at first. Everyone has been super friendly and willing to slow down and help learn the different techniques properly. Will happily continue going and would definitely recommend this gym to anyone with or without experience!

I will say this is one of the best places to come to and learn . Coach Yousef really knows how his stuff and makes it fun to learn at any age. So glad I joined and literally get a work out like never before. If you are looking for a gym near you or just want something new, look no further!

This is an extremely great place with experienced coaches in all aspects of martial arts. If you want to learn the art and prepare to compete this is the place to go to. Perfect atmosphere.
