So far one of the best Mexican restaurants in Carson City. The chease was actually melted in my enchiladas, most of the local restaurants have unmelted shredded cheese in the center. The taquitos were quite tasty, as well. Good sized portions for reasonable price.

Taco Tuesday & Thursday plus a full menu that has a plethora of amazing homemade family dishes - YEP that is what you will find if you come to Juan's Mexican Grill. They even serve breakfast - OMGoodness how can it get any better than that!! How about homemade complimentary pico salsa and chips and let me share an inside secret with you - if they aren't to busy ask for the special hot sauces from the back, but be warned they are not for the faint of heart, these are flavorful, tasty and HOT!! Taco Tuesday & Thursday, all the locals know that these are by far 'THE BEST' tacos ever!! Stuffed with seasoned ground beef and shredded chicken, lettuce, tomato and fresh grated cheese - OMTASTY!! Please don't forget to ask for the Special, '2 Tacos & a draft beer for $5.99' w/complimentary chips and homemade pico salsa - yummmmmy!! Prepare for it to be a bit hectic but it's well worth it and as you will read in my review below again the staff will always greet you with a smile and go out of their way to make your experience GREAT! Now for me, my other go to meals are their two enchilada plate or Governor Guinn Special enchiladas that come with homemade beans and rice plus those tasty complimentary chips and pico salsa. Recently, we popped in for breakfast and once again it was delicious - I opted for the Simple Breakfast which came with eggs, potatoes and toast - I chose over medium eggs (cooked perfectly), home potatoes (these were lightly crisp and also cooked perfectly - loved the touch of bell pepper) and sourdough toast and the coffee was delish! Service is ALWAYS with a smile, no matter how busy it is, and each staff member goes out of their way to make sure that your experience is GREAT (like I said above). My husband and I literally said today, we have never noticed in all the years of coming here that everyone working here is smiling and trying to the best of their ability to make sure you have what you need and happy - WAY TO GO Juan's that speaks volumes! The restaurant and tables are always clean and ready to go for the next guests arrival and even though they are in a casino (why 1 star less - I can't stand the smoke) Juan and his staff make you feel comfortable and welcome. GREAT food and GREAT service - we LOVE Juan's Mexican Grill and the staff!

Food was good enough but if your not a regular customer they don't treat you the same. Don't really talk with you except to take order and bring it to you. What made it worse is I'm in a wheelchair and it seemed to give them an attitude like I was just in the way instead of a paying customer

Food and service were good, but since it is in a casino, it was like eating in an ashtray.

I live outside of town and they always pack my tacos perfectly so that when I get home they are warm and delicious

Took my father to eat here, everything was really good. I jad the wet burrito, which was HUGE. But you could tell all of the ingredients had been seasoned, it tasted so good, I ate more than I should have. But I will be coming back again for sure. Service was excellent. The waitress was really nice. Fortunately, we went when it was not busy at all, so it was peaceful.

5/25/2023 To me, a good restaurant must have food that has taste. There are a lot of mexican places in town, I only eat and spend my money at Juan's Mexican Grill because the food here actually has flavor, unlike a lot of mexican food establishments in town.

Food was wonderful and the waiters did a great job. Very attentive and polite. The salsa is amazing there.

Nothing fancy but we love to get a couple of tacos for their Taco Tuesday or Taco Thursday specials. They have other specials, too. My friends love their breakfasts. Staff are very nice. It's in the small Comstock Casino so it can have smoke, so go early. Hopefully, they will upgrade the ventilation some day. Please think of the staff when tipping. Remember, it is not their fault the tacos are a low and great price so tip like it is a full meal. They deserve it!

Paid over $5.00 each for tacos that had green onions(weird) no salsa with them, disappointed

I can't stand casinos so I just had an order of Chile Colorado delivered via grub hub and aside from humungous portions the food was as good as Mexican gets...loved the sauce they used.

We love Juan's. It's family owned and operated. Anything we order is always prepared fresh, in a timely manner and is delicious. It's in a Casino (not particularly the best site placement) but every member of the family is such a pleasure to converse with. Juan's also has a site downtown for a non casino experience. Quality food, quality people all the way!

The taco meat did not have any spice. It tasted like boiled ground beef.

When we got settled and placed our order,my wife and I ordered the daily special, it came with a bowl of Mexican noodle soup, witch was the bomb, then came our special of the day , it comes with a taco rice and beans and enchilada, and it only cost $10.99 per special, I couldn't even eat the whole meal, my wife couldn't either, we got to go containers, I give this place 5 star's

I'm always searching for that perfect tostada with a flat corn tortilla, but sometimes I have to settle for the flour bowl one. Well, this flour bowl tostada was the best one I've had in a long time. I ordered thru DoorDash and the presentation was perfect, the shredded chicken was tasty and the refried beans tasted authentically homemade. The salsa was chunky and flavorful. Good job Juan's! My search is over.

I love the Macho Burger! All of the food is great. The staff is really nice.

My favorite casino in Carson City! It's quaint, and I love that it has a self serve soda and coffee bar. No waiting for cocktail server unless your drinking alcoholic beverages.

Excellent. Went on taco Tuesday and ordered the 2 tacos and a beer. Nice portions and quick/friendly service, especially considering the price. We had a somewhat large party and had no issues. Will definitely be back for more.
