First time eat here and sure going back!

Great customer service and really healthy food without sacrificing taste or quality. Bought chicken teriyaki and came with two very large salads that were fresh along with poke nachos. Poke nachos were surprisingly fresh, no fishy taste, and really delicious. I'm coming back forsure.

Loving it. Fresh salads, allowed to have it my way, my fish was cooked to perfection. Even my Miso soup tastes great. My food was still warm when I arrived home 6 miles away. I will be back very soon. I really enjoyed my meal.

The food is usually very fresh and good. The last time I got 2 extremely sharp fish bones left in the sashimi salad I had. Not just poor quality, but dangerous!

Great food and amazingly quick service.

I used to love this place, but the food was awful today. I was so disappointed, and it's very pricey. I ordered shrimp tempura rolls, and it had the wrong ingredients. The beef and chicken plate taste old, and rice was crunchy. I ordered to go, so I wasn't going to drive back and return. Called on phone, and they made no apologies. I won't be back

Lots of food but a bit pricey for kind of Japanese fast food. Price should be a few dollars cheaper. Tempura plate was ok but need a variety of vegetables not just zucchini. Tempura oil might need to be changed out too. Tempura sauce needs a bit more flavor tastes nothing like real tempura sauce.

This place used to be good. I was just there and ordered the tempura and California roll with the Oriental Salad. When I received it, I mentioned that the tempura was less than usual. The assistant manager (Reynaldo) said it was the same size as before. It only had 3 shrimp which I believe was 4 before. They were soggy. The California lacked the avocado. Just a smudge and some didn't have any. The salad was lacking the mandarin oranges and wonton. For $20+ this is the worse I've seen. Will never be back and will share with friends of this disgusting place that has gone wrong!

We visited today and waited close to an hour for our food to be served. To make things worse all of the food we ordered came to our table cold and dry . We were the only people in the business , how is it possible to take that long to serve food . Please do not waste your time and come here . Food is overpriced and cold , your better off eating at Tokyo grill on Avalon instead of eating here.

Delicious food. Great quality. Staff was amazingly friendly and the outdoor patio area was lovely to eat in.

I ordered a spicy tuna roll and a dynamite roll something like that... The spicy tuna was looking really gross not fresh I didn't eat it. And the other roll that I got was also not that fresh... But it was better than the spicy tuna. I'm not sure how you can mess up spicy tuna roll. And yes, it is too expensive for food that's already prepped and not freshly made. I don't know if they make rolls and then they give them out for days.. But that's how my food was. A waste of 30 something dollars. Don't order sushi and maybe you'll be fine but I didn't try the other items. I won't be ever coming back.

The dish I ordered with tempura shrimp 🍤 the sushi 🍣 the salads 🥗 everything was delicious I recommend it. 👍

Food is alright for a chain. There's a lot of styrofoam and plastic that will cause pollution that harms people and the planet that I wish would be minimized

I didn't like the tempura shrimp its too much batter and looks old. But the steak and shrimp plate tasted pretty good but the plates are pretty expensive for essentially a teriyaki type restaurant and the portion is not worth the price.

Food was pretty good. It's in Carson Mall so it's a fairly decent area. Wasn't too busy when we ate there at 8:00 at night.

The lady running the register was super nice. The food was excellent as well. Prices are a bit high, but I don't know how much Sushi typically costs to begin with!

Excellent service, clean restaurant and delicious food. In the Southbay Plaza, I would choose San San sushi any day of the week. Healthy salads, too with tasty, light dressings. Today was my first time eating here, but I will be back :-).

Always my go to, when craving sushi and thier marinated steak is so delicious paired with the white rice and oriental salad.

This is my new favorite SanSai. Been a big fan for about a decade. Friendly people, clean, quick service and perfect tempura. Edgar knows that menu too, wow. Pictures are my order, Tempura Plate (Shrimp and Veggies) with white rice, Sumi and Oriental salad sides. The white rice was dreamy it was so well prepared. The layout is a little strange, I'd have done it a bit different, enter from the patio or far left door, (no reflection on the food or service). Sriracha and soy sauce of course; sambal oelek is awesome to see. Orchids on the tables, too. I'm VERY happy that they don't seem to use Styrofoam as much as some other restaurants, it's the only thing I feel guilty about when I go! Five star, solid!

Super expensive flavorless simple food. Not worth it at all. The took like 35 minutes to give me my food

I love the setting of it , we got our food and ate outside , as you eat i got the feeling of been back somewhere in Japan.food is great, especially a kale salad.

Fast service. Sushi was good nice and hot when I got it.
