I typically eat here regularly but stopped for a while to eat healthy. Now today I’ve experienced possibly new ownership or cooks. But by far the nastiest food I’ve gotten. No flavor what so ever. Taste like the grease is dirty that they are frying in or burnt. Just very disappointed. $40 waisted on what??

I would say the food is a bit overrated and definitely overpriced. I had a shrimp po boy and an order of fries. The total came up to $19.11. My po boy had exactly 6 shrimp lol. The hot sauce tasted like too much vinegar was added. I would return maybe one more time to try one of them rice bowls with shrimp and sausage but that’s probably it. Just one mans opinion and experience.

Shrimp po boy was good but way over priced n not enough shrimp. My 6” poboy with chips n a lemonade was $17. Felt like i paid almost $20 for 5 shrimp. Left unsatisfied n still hungry. Could’ve went to AmPm if I wanted to get full on chips n lemonade.

Ordered my favorite Shrimp Po Boy sandwich, a cake, and Mumbo fries. Before I explain my 1 star I'd like to say the food was fresh to order, shrimp was juicy with a perfect crunch, great flavors on the mumbo fries, great chef. The service was not good. After paid for my hot food I preceeded to the refrigerator to see cold items and the 2 cashiers stood right next me not saying anything just watching me like I was some sort of thief (they were non black in a black neighborhood at a black own restaurant). I was very annoyed and almost asked for my money back but I was dreaming about my sandwich all night. To break the ice I started to ask them about the different deserts in the refrigerator and sadly they were too ignorant to tell which cake was which, which ones were best sellers, or their personal favorite so I just grabbed a random white cake which was delicious by the way. I got my food and when I got home I realized they had not put my hot sauce for the po boy sandwich in bag, I was so upset. I got to eat it with that sauce becauseit ties everything together. Overall, I love York and Orleans and I will repeat my sandwich but I will never visit this location again. The Baldwin Hills and Windsor Hills location are exceptional customer service.

Wanted to try this place but it was not what I expected. It’s on the expensive end and the food doesn’t match the price. I had a Shrimp Po Boy that absolutely had NO flavor. The shrimp wasn’t seasoned at all and it was bland with lettuce, Mayo and tomato. I asked for hot sauce and it came in a plastic container but I’m not sure what it was. It wasn’t hot and it didn’t taste like anything. Whatever this liquid was- it had a separation of oil on the bottom and red liquid on top. Disgusting. I also tried their bread pudding and it wasn’t sweet. My son had a chicken and shrimp Po Boy and he said his didn’t taste like anything either but he liked the bread. I will not be returning unfortunately.

I'm normally not a Po-boy kinda fellow, but all these sandwiches are good. I don't know where the bread is from, cuz I'm not a bread guy but my Mom introduced me to this place and it is top tier. I will sai I'm a potato guy and the fries are passable, but any of the sandwiches I've had are fantastic. Shrimp, Catfish, deli... Worth it!

The staff was great, very accommodating. The food was good, a pleasant surprise that vegan fare was also on the menu, and not just salads either! Pricing is quite high. Orleans & York is marked up, and for some items on the menu, the prices don't make sense. It can be way too expensive for what you get. Other items make more sense, like the premium Po' Boys or fish & chicken platters. Ambience is a mixed bag; some locations are more pleasant than others.

The food was not as good as it has been in the past. But was fresh and tasty. However, Sami sauce was not included yet I requested and paid for extra. When I called the young lady told me they cost $.25 cents yet when I found the receipt it was actually &.75. For an order of more than $75.00 I would wish it was packed properly. I was agitated with the lack of regard for my patronage and hard earned money. Something so small was so off putting. Don’t know if I would come again as something has changed since I first came here.

Friendly and helpful service. Truly dilicious shrimp (grilled or fried) po'boys. Very clean. A few sit down tables with an outdoor seating area. Geared towards take out.

The price for my vegan wings and fries were listed as $10.99. But I was charged $16 despite telling the cashier the price was lower on the menu. They wouldn't change the price. The service was also very slow. But the staff was polite.

The service the food the people the owners all are quality and worth the time and money spent there. Just meant them and they feel like family. Met the owner of this location and he’s very personable and makes sure you are satisfied and taken care of. He won’t let you leave unsatisfied. Food is full of flavor and everything here is made from scratch daily! All homemade style food. Highly recommend going, cause I’ll be coming back.

I got the oysters and they were mushy and nasty. The coating was fine, but I've never had oysters that seemed to have been ground into a paste like texture. The fries and potato salad were good. I would try again but with a different dish.

Pros:+ Very large variety menu ranging from fried fish, chicken, sandwiches, cured meats, desserts, and even slushies. Had red Snapper and chicken Tenders. +Good service, very attentive and gave me some sample desserts. +Plenty of parking during the weekdays. Cons: -Inflation making prices go up.

Overall, my experience here was tasteful. Service was quick yet attentive and my order came out correct. I give 3 stars due to the actual food. I ordered a catfish platter that initially looked delicious, but I came to find out that my catfish was still covered in fat and the hot sauce is EXTREMELY buttery with very little spice. I will return but not for seafood, maybe chicken tenders. Fries were really good.

Pricey, Shrimp Po boy is not all that. I make a better one at home. I'm from down south and this ain't what it tastes like. A true Shrimp Po boy comes with remoulade sauce and not Mayo. Here's a suggestion get a menu with pictures of the food you are selling so people can see how good it looks instead of guessing what it's going to look like when you get it.

Service was great. Unfortunately, I paid $20 for a poboy that contained 2 pieces of catfish and THREE shrimp.

I ordered the the shrimp Philly and the the Ms. Rachel w/ pastrami, macaroni and potato salad (both Cajun). The food was good, tasty and hot.

The food is delicious but it is expensive, especially off of their vegan menu, a vegan po’ boy was $23 dollars with tax

This place was on my favorites list then the pandemic hit. Now venturing out more and more I went by and got one of my old time favorites the shrimp platter with seasoned fries and cloe slaw. Still good! I was happy: large fried shrimps with a light batter- tasty. Seasoned fries ( no, all fries are not created equal) these are good. Going back for the oyster po' boy - that use to be a winner too...
