The worst all inclusive I’ve ever been to. It’s 3 stars but the food was not good at all, there was supposed to be snack options all day and they had one small option. They limited you in the potions you also ate. You could not take any food/drinks up to your room, that included water as well. The staff was not friendly or kind, treated us as if we weren’t paying customers. Not as important but please note, also wasn’t one person who spoke English at the front desk. The rooms were very misleading from online. We never got clean sheets or towels. Has to beg the staff to get new towels. There were no currents to block out the sun. If your exception is that this will be a decent 3 star hotel, it will not be. I’m not sure how they have so many positive reviews. We had a horrible experience and won’t ever return.

What a horrible hotel and what terrible experience. Our entire vacation was ruined the moment we got there. The elevator does not work. The original room that was offered to us smell like mold and bleach. The bed was disgusting and the pillows were never changed. Then they offered “remodeled” rooms that were even worse. Bathrooms all dirty and the even one room had paint chipping with black gunk falling off. They showed us a total of 5 rooms each worse than the last. This has put a strain on my family and we ended up fighting just because these rooms were soo bad. Never again. I recommend every Colombian, foreigner, everyone to don’t go here no matter how good the place is.

An amazing hotel amazing service, really nice food buffet style if you go all inclusive, bar 24 hours and guests entertainment every night. Loved it

Super long wait time to check in and this is with no one else in line. Staff is very disorganized and rude. Check out was even longer. I paid extra for a room that supposed to be double size, instead they gave me half size. The faucet in the bathroom did not work and early in the morning they had a man drilling something right above our bed in the room next door. No do not disturb signs for doors so expect house keeping to wake you up at the crack of dawn and if you say no they knock 4 four more times and come in anyway. If this all sounds great to you book your stay at the Dorado today!

AVOID AT ALL COST. The hotel staff was helpful. Food was average. The newly renovated rooms are nice. Other rooms just look dirty. The rooms have ‘air conditioning’ and by air conditioning I mean a thermostat on the wall and it does nothing. Switched a total of 4 rooms and the only fix that they did was to bring in a fan. We were not the only people to complain of how hot the rooms were.

Excellent location. Very poor and disgusting service. Check in took me 2 hours. I even had a problem with the keys. Never coming back to this property

Was the worst vacation than ever had, the air conditioner didnt doing maintenance, The courtains had moho, you feel the humidity in the air, the other room the bed had smell like Urine, the worst than happen in my live.

I just came to Cartagena for my birthday. Yes I got a moldy room, but I think that the whole building was old. Despite them serving pork all of the time, the food that wasn't pork was great! I didn't have to worry about spending money for food, since it was all inclusive. The bathroom was clean, just at times, no hot water smh lol. The staff welcomed me and spoke fluent English to me, knowing I was a foreigner, barely speaking Spanish, and understanding my Spanglish lol. They surprised me with a birthday cake, and once the staff found out I came for my birthday, they celebrated with me, and incorporated me into their party. If the hotel had both functional elevators working, and hot water regularly, I would have given them five stars! They just have to renovate and get the mold fixed, and fix their elevators. The customer service, staff, and entertainment were beyond amazing!

The place is very good and is close to the sea. The food is amazing and the place is quiet and safe. It is a great hotel for vacations in Cartagena.

Good spot one elevator was operational which was annoying. Rooms weren't the cleanest but definafinatly not a huge problem. Great meal options!

staff is amazing, best 3 star hotel i've been to, food is really good and it's steps away from the beach, you can program all the trips you wish for directly from the hotel so you don't get haggled on the street. great experience every time. can't wait to come back.

The food is excellent, it's one of the strongest amenities of the hotel, near to the beach, the staff is nice and the rooms clean, the bathrooms near to halls require maintenance since the taps weren't working.

You get what you pay for. This hotel offers all basic amenities and against all adds and bad reviews, I had a nice stay. Both the service and the food are quite good but the hotel's best feat is without a doubt its location!

In a single sentence. If want ruin your vacation in all the way possible, you can choose this hotel. Bcz without reading the reviews I choose this and I had the worst experience of my life in this hotel.

Everything in my bathroom was broken! Other things were breaking left and right. I told staff about it and they didn’t bother to fix it. The room had a poor layout, hard to even find an outlet. Fried he was dirty, couch was old and dirty, bed was as hard as the floor. The front desk is super slow, kept me waiting 30 minutes to check in because they couldn’t find my reservation, lobby is horribly hot, no AC. I’m not sure why it had good ratings on google and other sites. I’m thinking it’s just because they do promotions for good reviews or because they give out free alcohol to the all inclusive buyers.

People with colored hair BEWARE they will charge you for anything you stain no matter how small or how harmless the stain. Will charge 40.000 peso for every piece you stain. Honestly is what ruined the trip. With all the money they make they find ways to charge you more

Very good All inclusive Hotel with a fair price. Also excellent location and all the employees were very friendly everytime. Buffet was delicious and good variety. Part of the Hotel is under maintenance but they are doing it because they have to be at the same level of others nears High luxury hotels in the Neighborhood.
