Great perspective of the Great Smokies. Mr. and I ride these wherever we go, from Las Vegas to Myrtle Beack to London, and the GSM version was just as spectacular! They told us 3x around but it was 4. Fully air conditioned and fresh air. Didnt feel stagnant at all. Loved it, thank you Sky Wheel!

The views from The Great Smokey Mountain Ferris wheel was so breathtaking. I wish we did it at night too. We went around maybe 4 times, so you do have the opportunity to really enjoy the ride and take in the scenery. We did have to wait probably over 15 minutes before we got on the ride.

200 feet high, air conditioned pods. Comfortable seats. They give you about 4 times around. It was 16.00. Look for discounts everywhere tourist information is handed out. We went at night...the lights were really cool to look at 200 feet up. Check out the pictures.

A "must do" activity if you are spending any time in this area. The ticket line seems to go slower than the boarding line but it is all worth the wait IF you go at night and see the beautiful lights 200 feet below you. The pods seat 4-5 comfortably and ticket prices are reasonable for the 4 revolutions. Do be prepared for a long walk from the parking lot or wait for a people-mover.

Long wait. You'll understand once you see what they have to keep up with. A+ for a fun staff. The ride was 3 times around for us even though most people said 4 to 5. It goes pretty quick for what it costs. I didn't like that they make you take a picture, so that they can sell you it after you're done. It's $30 and if you don't want it they toss it, and yes it's already printed and ready... why not include it in the price instead? Annoying business model to see all those photos either go in the garbage or be charged $30.

It's a slow wheel ofcourse, but amazing view and very suitable for kids. Kids tickets are $10. It's heated inside the wheel which is amazing for winter. The wait depends on when you're going, though it is a tourist attraction so it's always gonna gave atleast a 10 to 30 minutes wait. You can get tickets near the wheel, no need for advance.

Great experience. Clean cars. The view from the top is amazing. Additionally the line was very short and we were allowed to being our baby's car seat with us which allowed for extra comfort.

We finally got a chance to ride a ferris wheel as a family and it was AWESOME! The views from 200 feet up in the air, overlooking Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains really was a sight to behold. If you like long range mountain views these air conditioned gondolas at The Island will give you exactly what you're looking for. Our family of 8 (six kids under 10), fit comfortably in the gondola as it sent us soaring into the sky. We highly recommend The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel at The Island for anyone that's interested in seeing Smoky Mountain National Park from a totally unique perspective. Next time we go we'll do this at night so we can see all the lights.

So fun and reasonably priced! We did the 2 rides in 24 hours tickets and went once in the day and once at night. Highly recommend!

A section of lights was burned out during Christmas and New Year. I could see the wheel from my cabin and saw my cabin from the wheel. A bit pricy but I get it. My son had a blast. You go around 3 times. great views overall. My cabin photo view is a little blurry but the section is so big can see it even in that.

First time going on the wheel as a local and it was a great experience. It was $20 per person and we went around 4 times. They do offer military discount which was great and appreciated. Each cab holds 4 people and has AC which was amazing since the day was in the 90’s. Amazing views is all I can say!

Well worth the ticket price. My 83 year old dad and 75 year old mom used my dad's veteran discount and a senior discount and saved a few dollars. So glad I will have this memory of riding the wheel with them. Employees were all nice and polite.
