I want to start off by saying that the female Nurse practitioner I saw today 12/30/2022 here is super nice, caring and welcoming. Front desk was super busy, but still managed to be professional. Now, the male nurse with tattoos (1st person I saw) was immediately telling me that I probably just had chest pain from anxiety. I've had anxiety my whole life...I know the difference. This male nurse immediately invalidated my concerns with trying to say it's simply anxiety. He was also super condescending, and I could hear all the comments he was making about being angry with some patient and other stuff I shouldn't have to hear. He also made a remark that he took terrible x-ray images...after he had just given me an xray scan..I really wanted to end my visit and ask for a refund, but I truly appreciated the care that the NP showed towards my visit and I decided to remain calm. Although this is my experience, I know that people can change and my kind advice to this person would be to learn to bite your tongue and work with compassion, if you can't do that- you're in the wrong game. He also could have been tired, but again put yourself in the patients shoes, we come in worried and- at least for me, I never visit the dr or Er unless I am truly worried bc I am uninsured and having experiences such as these are such a turn off and prevent patients from seeking care that they may truly need. Look, if it turns out that the patient's issue wasnt as big as they thought, there's no need to fuss about it, be happy you have a job and do your thing. Better safe than sorry and no need to shun patient's for being worried..

Went in today to get a Covid test and was turned away by the tattooed front desk lady. She said rudely “we require an appointment”. Big bold letters on the window outside says “walk ins welcome. No problem requiring an appointment but update your webpage and re paint your window so nobody wasted their time driving there.

I would never return. In 2020, I went in to get my throat checked out. After sticking out my tongue the doctor made a very uncomfortable comment about my tongue shape/length. The tone he used was just creepy. Fast forward a year, I get a call from collections saying I owed money. Absolutely not. I paid my original bill immediately, so this was something that came afterwards. I tried calling the billing department and left serval message and never received a call back. I ended up paying the bill because I didn't want it ruining my credit, but refused to pay the late fees, which the guy said was fine. Fast forward to today, my credit has dropped because this is STILL AN ACTIVE CASE. FastMed did not waive the fee's therefore ruining my score. UNC Urgent Care at Beaver Creek is significantly better. If you are looking for proper care all around- this is your spot.

Clean. Fast. Kind and polite. Easy to schedule appointment. Nurses were helpful, took time to talk with me. Called with my lab results and in that follow-up call took time to ask me how I was doing and offer a few more tips for managing my symptoms. Great experience! Thank you FastMed staff!

You should make an appointment first. It’s more like a regular doctor what takes walk ins. I was told a covid test would take 30-45 minutes to be seen. It took 30-40mins just to get checked in. If you have time to wait it’s fine but it will take way longer than they tell you. Staff was very pleasant but timing was super inconvenient after I already committed to the process.

The NP who attended to me was very thorough and involved. I expected to be barely glanced at for under a minute as is usual with urgent care. But she spent at minimum 30 minutes with me. The care I received was excellent and I’d recommend going there for your urgent care needs.

Everything went very well. Everyone was professional and courteous. The proper procedures and medication were utilized to treat my medical problem. I definitely would go there again if needed.

To start I’m in healthcare so I truly understand working short staffed. The provider herself was great, but a lot leading to actually seeing her could use help. I was really sick and made an apt., and really upset when they kept taking walk ins before me when I had an apt just for that reason. The walk ins were 4 people getting routine drug screens for work. Once I was put in a treatment room, after a very long wait we were seen within 15 min. But then told by the nurse she’d return to take some tests….. didn’t see her again for another 15min. The point here is even if very busy, simple communication could have gone a long way, rather than saying “I’ll be right back”. The test they swabbed me for was negative, but hours later in the hospital was positive…. technique it was taken?? In the end I appreciate the care I received just think they can step up their game a bit particularly with prioritizing intake.

Sat in waiting room for over an hour and 30 minutes just to sit for another hour in the patient room waiting to be seen. They are brutally slow. Always call ahead and ask the wait time unless you want to get stuck here the entire day.

The new lady with the messy nasty looking hair brown and black locs definitely should be working back of house. Her communication and attitude definitely sucks. If someone ask a question on time normally a rough estimate is given not “you’re next and just wait. Smh also the young lady training her was showing her different things in the computer and she’s loud and unappreciative. Not a good look!

My husband and I both went to this FastMed at the same time. The doctor was wonderful, compassionate, and very well-informed. We were very impressed with our care. Also...2 weeks previous to that, I had to go for an allergic reaction and had a physician's assistant and she was fantastic also. Highly recommend.

I had an appointment on Memorial Day and was seen promptly! If you go as a walk in know that you are going to have to wait and with an appointment you may have to wait a bit, but I didn’t wait long at all! Staff was helpful and friendly and solved my issue. Definitely will be back in the future if needed!

Everyone was helpful and friendly. Long wait, but I did not have an appointment, so I think that is to be expected. Doctor was great; she diagnosed me and sent out a prescription immediately.

I've used FastMed at Beaver Creek in Apex, NC several times and couldn't be happier with their level of service. I'm very fortunate to have them nearby. From the moment we walk through the door until we leave, we get first class care and customer service.

I am sitting in the parking lot here with 3 other cars of people who tried to go here on a Saturday. It literally says on the door Fast Med hours for Saturday and Sunday 8 AM to 4 PM. I made an appointment online at 12:15 that required all of my information and drove from Apex to a locked door and a sheet of paper taped on the door stating they are closed. Why in the world would your website allow me to make an appointment then?!! Thanks for wasting my time and money for gas to get here when I’m sick!!!

Needed treatment on a Saturday.. I was able to make an appointment for that afternoon using their website. A nurse practitioner treated me right on time and and I was in my way 15 minutes later. Great service.

Excellent clinic. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I was taken care of. I was able to leave within half an hour of my arrival time. Dr. Murphy was efficient, attentive, and skilled. He incised and drained an infected area, almost painlessly. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing prompt and efficient care.

My visit to FastMed was great. I did not have an appointment, so there was a little wait. Joseph, the PA was very attentive and address my issue within minutes of me explaining my concern. If needed I will return there for my next medical concern.

I can't express how nice, knowledgeable and patient EVERYONE was at FastMed Urgent Care.. I felt silly going in, but wanted to be sure I hadn't really hurt myself or have any long lasting damage. I also didn't have to wait long at all.. It was one of the best experiences I've had at an Urgent Care Clinic. Would highly recommend.

I found it easy to make the appointment online. The service was excellent and the wait time was short. The diagnosis was accurate as was the treatment. Overall, a great urgent care experience

Everyone was very caring, loving, and helpful. They are the best and it was the first time I have had this kind of amazing experience in an urgent care!

Everytime I come here I always have a pleasant experience. Although I've only been here 2 times they have been good. Walking in it's small and compact but masks are required. Oh and don't forget your ID and insurance card it's much needed. Definitely have 15 minutes before to fill out paperwork. Always make appointments too. Walk ins are welcome but sometimes you might wait a hour or so till there is a opening. For example I had to wait a hour for a COVID test beacuse they were busy that day and only had that as the closest time to see me. The check in and paperwork were both seamless and easy. In the examination room it's simple and clean. They do basic bp exam and some questions before seeing or doing anything. One thing I noticed was the first time I went there nobody wore scrubs this next time they did. Don't know what's up with that but it's just a observation. Anyways the person who sees you first does what needs to be done i.e COVID tests. Then wait a bit and then a nurse practitioner will see you. They might do a few more things like listen to your heart or look in your ears. After that if everything is a ok and they don't recommend anything they will send you on your way with some advice and maybe offer if you want some prescription medication. For example if you have a cough but meds aren't working so they can prescribe cough meds. If something is going on then they can get to the diagnosis and prescriptions with recommendations on what to do. No need to check out unless otherwise stated. And that was my experience. fun fact: I've lived in Apex so long I remember when before the fast med was there it was a Hibachi Express. Good food.

Was seen in a reasonable amount of time. The ataff were friendly and professional. Would go to this location again if I need an urgent care visit.

Took forever to check-in, like an hour after our scheduled appointment time, BUT once we were in we were seen quickly. Everyone here is kind and friendly. They've not only treated me (some severe poison ivy on my face and hands, I know) but They've seen my 6 yr old on several occasions when his pediatrician can't get him in for a sick appt until a week later. They're great with kids and actually listen to what they say! Thanks for being here guys! We appreciate you all

Based on my July 3rd emergency FastMed is the worst place you can go to receive an unwelcome service when you try to check-In. The lack of unprofessionalism from the front desk lady attitude demotes all of the great staff that works there. FastMed was my primary place to go In Apex, NC for the last 5 years. Sadly will not consider or recommend anymore based on attitude and lack of empathy the front lady had toward us.

This facility is overloaded. It takes over 20 minutes for the receptionist at the front desk just to get the paperwork for someone checked in. The number of providers is limited which is causing wait times to be about 3 hours. Staff is not friendly from being so overloaded. You'd be better off going somewhere else.

I had a wonderful experience! The receptionist Shanice was outstanding! She was knowledgeable and very welcoming. The entire visit was seamless. The facility is also well kept. I would certainly recommend this facility to other patients.

The staff was very kind and courteous. I was able to be seen fairly quickly even with other folks waiting. I was not as satisfied with the medical professional I saw (nurse practitioner). I felt as if my issue was not taken seriously and it felt like they were trying to get me out the door as soon as possible. This was disappointing.

The staff was very attentive and helped me get an appointment quickly. When I arrived, they gave me instructions and help filling out my forms and I was seen quickly. The nurse was cheerful and efficient and interested in my history. Very soon, the PA came in. She listened to my concerns and gave me her thoughts on my situation, as well as helping me decide how much testing I wanted. Back out front, the personnel helped me find quick results information and reviewed what I needed to do to get further results after I got home. It was a good experience for an important issue.

The front desk representative was friendly, personable and quick to take care of 4 of us who walked in at the same time. The clinicians in the back were efficient, friendly and informative. I was in and out within 30 min. I will visit this urgent care again.

Rude staff. Can't even call the office because they have their phones off as if the office is still temporarily closed. Literally sat in an office 2 hours before being called back for a simple drug test. The staff is the rudest slowest most petty people I have met in customer service and they really don't like to help you with any questions you have. Terrible place.

My first experience at FASTMED Urgent care was truly great! I went to the 2021 Creekside Landing Dr. Apex, NC location yesterday and it was EXCELLENT! All of the staff were wonderful and attentive, the facility was very clean, organized and seemed to really follow covid conscious guidelines! However One person really stood out to me and that was GEORGE at the front desk! He was truly exceptional! Multi tasking and navigating an incredibly busy waiting room with a smile on his face! Great job, George! I’ve already recommended this facility to 5 people!

Seriously what is the point of an appointment to be told you will still be waiting an hour and half or so. Like seriously if I wanted hospital wait time I would have went last night!!!!!

I have been to FastMed urgent care more times than my doctors office because of the care I receive! Although the wait in the waiting room is sometimes lengthy, once you are seen the process is swift and easy. As a person with high anxiety, I feel super comfortable in the hands of the nurses and doctors at the FastMed at creekside landing in Apex. I have never had a bad experience and highly recommend! Check their website for more information to be properly informed, as it helps many questions you may have!

Outdated information. Made the drive here because it clearly says no appointment necessary. Your response to my above review doesn't change the fact that your info says "no appointment necessary". That is incorrect info. An appointment is in fact necessary to get tested for Covid-19 at your facility. Simply change that info as stated here. Until then you are not telling the truth. Causing folks to drive to your place believing no appointment is necessary.

The MA and PA were nice and professional. The receptionist, however, was rude and did not listen to the information I gave her. Nor did she properly read my insurance card, which reiterated the information I verbalized.

👍 The only reason I did not give it a 5 stars is because the lady at the reception was quite unfriendly. Not a great way to make a first impression. However, everyone else was fantastic.
