When we moved to Chapel Hill we looked hard for a reputable jeweler (wife) and watch dealer (me). After a lot of disappointment we stumbled upon the team at JM Edwards and were immediately impressed. Genuinely nice people who invest time in their clients to understand their needs and always go above and beyond in service. They aren’t part of a mall, so the store itself stands out and makes you feel like you are entering a home and within they have an impressive selection of jewelry and (my favorite) are an authorized Rolex dealer. I think what makes them special is their ability to custom make pieces. To date we have bought 5 customized pieces of jewelry from them (at very reasonable prices) and each time we kinda had an idea of what we wanted and each time they patiently walked us through options, gave us honest opinions as to what works and doesn’t, and guided us to a final design that left us feeling like we had walked away with something truly special. My wife and daughter LOVE their rings and necklaces - and I know there will be more in the future. As for me, my personal reward for being a wonderful dad and husband was getting my first Rolex (which is not an easy thing to do these days)! Big thanks to Carl and the JM Edwards team! Outstanding experience. Went in for a repair to a necklace and the need for a watch band. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I had my two children with me and they enjoyed looking at all of the beautiful jewelry in the cases. One of my favorite things is looking at jewelry, so we all enjoyed the sparkles! I could not be more satisfied with my engagement ring! Long story short, I had gone back and forth trying to decide if I would have a ring made using my late mothers diamonds from her ring or get one already made. This went on for a very long time!! Evette was so wonderful and had sent me a marquis east to west as I desired and I kept going back to that picture. I finally on the spur rode out and tried the ring on (of course with the help of Jeremy and the other kind jewelers) my Evette wasn’t there that day but I instantly knew it was the one and my fiancé purchased! I’m so thankful for the outstanding patient communication with Evette that led me to my ring!! Highly recommended JMEdwards the store is gorgeous and staff professional and friendly.

JM Edwards has provided nothing but excellent service with my recent purchase, maintenance, and care of engagement and wedding rings. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and listens to your ideas while providing thoughtful guidance without being pushy or overbearing. It’s clear that they know their stuff about jewelry and I trust that they will do a great job with any need. They are also extremely timely and responsive, and provided great communication overall in the ring-buying process.

10/10 We ABSOLUTELY recommend J. M. Edwards. We contacted Christian about setting a loose diamond for my engagement ring. At first, seeing J. M. Edwards was intimidating but everyone there immediately put us at ease. I went over exactly what I wanted with Christian; he respected our budget and made us feel heard and comfortable (especially comfortable expressing how we actually felt and being able to say no if/when we needed to). After we decided to have J.M. Edwards create my ring, they got the first CAD to me right when they said they would (about 2 weeks later). Christian was SO SO SO patient and helpful as we went back and forth with the things I loved and wanted to be changed with the design. After a few weeks of back and forth over email and one more in-person trip, I received the design that we went with (bless the CADesigner, they did about four or so drafts – trust the process and the professionals). Then four weeks later my ring was ready! I had also asked Christian to order a wedding band to match the band of my engagement ring, both rings were ready when I went to pick it up. At a few different points through this process, Christian asked me to trust him – he was so right. I LOVE my rings. I cannot overstate how helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly Christian was as well as everyone we interacted with at J. M. Edwards! They have our jewelry-related business. I love working with them and know you will too!

JM Edwards is an exceptional jeweler. I’ve seen 3 jewelers in Cary and this jeweler is by far the best in the area! Kathleen was especially helpful with my ring resizing and helping me select a new stunning piece! The atmosphere is relaxed yet beautiful and there is no pressure to make a certain purchase. Most importantly, you are always welcome to have your jewelry checked to be sure your precious stones are secure in their settings! I do this every 6 months or so…

Every experience I've had at JM Edwards has been fantastic! First, they always have an amazing selection of gorgeous jewelry; from classic foundational pieces like the perfect pair of pearl earrings to more trendy pieces (think stackable diamond bangle bracelets-my personal favorite). Their custom designs are remarkable as well. I recently received a ruby and diamond brooch that had great sentimental value to me and they redesigned into a gorgeous choker necklace that I receive compliments on every time I wear it. What really sets this store apart though is their outstanding customer service. Carl, Christian, Kathleen, and Frank consistently go above and beyond to make every visit special. My husband and I wanted to browse our options for engagement rings. We actually went to Diamonds Direct first in Raleigh. They were extremely weird and kept preaching about mined diamonds, and took my husband to the back even though we were there together. I wanted to try a local jeweler, so we went to JM Edwards immediately after. Karen was so friendly and attentive, and we told her about the unusual gemstone we were looking for, and how we wanted to design a custom ring. She simply told us she was going to do her best, and she found some beautiful stones for us! I picked one out, and I was able to pick out other elements in my ring. We also worked with Christian and Carl during the design process. They provided us some CADs every step of the way until it was perfect. We did not have a strict timeline of when we needed the ring done by, but we didn't have to wait long. The ring is beautiful and flawless, and my center stone is so securely anchored (they will do free prong checks). We went back to purchase our wedding bands (also a beautiful selection) and recently went back for a cleaning- it was so fast, maybe 10 minutes, and they were brand new! We were strongly considering getting rings through online vendors like Brilliant Earth but very happy we made the decision to buy local!

Always complete the requested task exceptionally well, and their prices are surprisingly low. Very willing to help with anything that I ask about. I live pretty far away from their store, but always drive the extra distance for unparalleled service and delivery.

I have been interested in completing a reproduction of my grandmother’s engagement ring from the 1930s that I inherited as it was too fragile after a lifetime of wear to use for myself. After attempting to engage in the process with a few stores over the years, I felt frustrated by the price gouging and lack of competence. After moving to the Apex area and seeing the reviews for JM Edwards, on a whim I dropped in to inquire about the possibility of the custom work to finally finish this project. I knew from the onset of meeting Carl and the genuine interest he expressed that this could become a reality. We sat down and ended up spending 3 hours discussing a multitude of topics from design to process to expectations. Carl’s knowledge and design input was tantamount to the success of the ring. When I picked up the ring it took a great deal for me not to become overcome with emotion. It exceeded any expectations I could have conjured up. JM Edwards has gained my business as a trusted and valued resource.

Also had several pieces appraised. Just picked up my ring and appraisal items - extremely pleased with my repair. My fiancé and I worked with Christian to make a custom engagement ring at JM Edwards. We had went to NYC to look for diamonds as well as a few local stores in the triangle, and ultimately felt that Christian was the best person to work with. He is a gemologist, and is very honest about answering any questions you may have. This was important for us as when we were looking at other stores, the sales reps were trying to sell us diamonds that were not good quality. Christian was very patient and understood exactly what my fiancé was looking for. Also, everyone there is very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend choosing JM Edwards!!!

I stopped by JM Edwards to take a look at their jewelry and watches which occurred after some bad experiences with my previous Jewelry/watch supplier. I had been a loyal customer at the previous company for over 10 years but due to recent interactions i felt that it was time for me to move on. Upon my visit I was greeted promptly and pleasantly by Christian. The store was pretty busy during my visit but Christian took the time to answer all of my questions and provided great insight when it comes to Rolex availability. Happy with my experience, I returned a couple weeks later to purchase an anniversary gift for my wife. Once again Christian provided A1 service. With my recent experiences at JM Edwards, I feel like they could be my new go to location for my jewelry/watch purchases. More positive interactions in the future will confirm this but based on my interactions thus far, I would highly recommend JM Edwards and Christian!

I have visited many of the storefront jewelry shops in Cary but not JM Edwards, I thought it might be too fancy. But this year, after getting a quote for resizing a wide ring at another shop I stopped by JM Edwards just to see. To my surprise the quote was virtually the same but the courtesy and service were incomparable. And, not only would they resize my ring, they would also tighten the center stone, and my receipt included a valuation of the ring. The store is beautiful. A rich variety of jewelry. The careful attention that I experienced was outstanding, so much so that I have already returned to sell a couple of gold pieces and fix a bracelet that kept hooking sweaters. I also plan to get two stones reset. JM Edwards is known for creating custom jewelry onsite, yet they were exceptionally helpful as I sought simpler services. What a pleasure.

The group at JM were so great to work with. We got the sense they truly cared about finding us the right pieces that matched us. They were knowledgeable about less common stones and able to provide great examples to help us find our way. We could not find a larger selection of green, non-diamond options anywhere else in the region. They always listened to our feedback and were great at bringing multiple options to the table. This is the best jeweler in the triangle area hands down. Support a local business that will make you anything you want at the best possible price. I have bought my wife a few nice things here, including a custom ring where I got to pick the stone and design. She gets compliments on them daily! I price checked with other jewelers. JM edwards customized it perfectly and it was the best price I could find. I even was able to obtain my first Rolex from them :). I had a older ring (20 years old) that lost its stone .Fortunately I was able to find the stone but the setting needed repair. The service gentleman was excellent in preparing me an estimate. He also gave me options in repairing the ring. When picking up my ring a young lady waited on me. She was very polite and gave me time to inspect the repair. I was overwhelmed with the beauty of the ring which looked like it was brand new. I was so happy to have it restored. The ring was very sentimental to me. A big thank you for an excellent job at a reasonable price.

I found this jewelry store years ago and have not been to another store since. The service is second to none and the jewels seem to sparkle a bit more than others. After years of searching for a store to repair an heirloom piece (no one else would touch it), JM Edwards accepted and found a way to restore it good as new! They also worked with me for 2 years designing the perfect pendant with an inscription to hold some of my grandfather’s ashes.
