After an excellent day at the La Recova winery, Karla and Andres recommended this place for lunch. Beautiful surroundings, excellent fish from Juan Fernandez island, perfectly cooked lomo, abundant salad - all local and organic foods with beautiful presentation and prompt/caring wait staff. This gem is definitely worth visiting for one of those deliciously long chilean lunches. Cristian, owner/chef is a master host. Our group of five retired women was beautifully served and pampered. Highly recommend Macerado en Casablanca.

The place is beautiful but unfortunately the food was a disaster: I got a “Lomo Liso” full of tendons and when I complained the waiter just said: That’s what happened. My wife got rabbit full of small bones. Normally when you get rabbit in other restaurants, these bones are removed – but not in Macerado. The service was slow, and I could understand if the food was bad if the prices had been low, but it was the most expensive “Lomo Liso” I ever got. I can definitely not recommend, that you waste your money in this restaurant.

The chiveche was really good and the menu was creative. Unfortunately the wait service was kind of slow so don't go here if you're in a hurry.

Misrepresented on TripAdvisor and Google, it was clear that they’re gaming social media. Wine selection was horrible, low quality and very fruit forward wines. Fish was unevenly cooked, overdone in parts and raw in others. Strongly recommend looking to other restaurants in the area.

For all of Santiago's sophisticated formal dining and with many options in Casablanca, Macerado is not to be missed on any trip to Santiago. An excellent selection of small production wines from across Chile and a constantly-changing menu of innovative dishes based upon regional ingredients combine for and unforgettable, jnformal experience in a beautiful setting.
