We did the late afternoon 3pm cooking workshop with fatima who was enthusiastic and knowledgable describing the spices used with what meats and the history of Moroccan food. Our Dada was equally welcoming and enthusiastic. The produce was very fresh and we had an absolute ball making the food. Totally recommend doing it.

a great way to experience Morocco's culture - cooking your own lunch in a tagine. Our instructor, fatiha, and our local female chef had all the food and equipment ready in a state of the art kitchen. Under their direction we prepared chicken or vegetarian tagine. 4 hour later we were eating what we made and learned a bit about the wonderful spices that go into making tagine - yummmmm!

We did this cooking workshop with our 16- and 11-year old daughters and it was one of the highlights of our 10-day trip in Morocco. We leaned so much by making (vs. just eating) the tajine and salads ourselves. They even sent us home with an actual tajine and the recipes we made. We ate loads of tajine all over Morocco and this was the best one we had. The experience was about 3.5 hours.

We did the 3 hour cooking class yesterday morning. It was brilliant! Really fun and informative. I'm a vegetarian, which wasn't a problem at all; I was guided in cooking a delicious vegetarian meal. One of the best things we did in fez. Highly recommend!
