lovely and well maintained place to learn about ancient life. the local guides are very knowledgable. the place has additional exhibitions as miniatures and traditional paintings. there are no facilities as coffee shop or even bathroom there. it's in 200 m from Metro station. unfortunately the short way is full of garbage with horrible smells.

Beautiful ornate building. We were only able to visit half of it but what I saw was well worth the visit. Nice hand-painted ceramic tiles in the hammam. No 2 tiles the same. Nice kitchen area. Separate pathways for the nobles and the hired hands. The courtyard was really beautiful. The house now exhibits miniature paintings from several parts of the world.

Situated in the middle of the old casbah, it is Great historical place for one of the sultans of Algiers: mustapha pacha. Although the house is not that big, but Every detail of house tells a story about the turkish royal life. I recommend reading about it before you go, or request a guide from local tourism agencies.

The “Khadouj El Amia” and “Dar Hassan Pasha” Palace are working on putting the finishing touches to ensure optimal reception for visitors, which will be done according to the health protocols in force. However, the Palace, which houses the National Public Museum of Popular Arts and Traditions, is not quite ready to welcome visitors again, due to ongoing maintenance work which has somewhat delayed the return of its exhibitions. permanent. Beautfiful old palace in good shape and well taken care of. Access to the sta7 (roof) was not available when we visited. The second part of the palace is an architecture school, so not accessible. The current exhibition is about miniatures and there are some wonderful pieces from Iran, Uzbekhistan and other places. There is also very nice calligraphy. Entrance fee was 200 dn per adult. A must in Algers!

(Translated by Google) Algeria has been through its long history of many civilizations since 2500 BC, all competed on the land and place of Algeria, and left an architectural and linguistic heritage, many of which still exist to this day. "Culture and Tourism" celebrates heritage at Al Ain Palace Museum One of the most important landmarks in Algeria's history is the period of the Ottoman Empire, which Algeria joined nominally in 1504, ending with the French occupation of Algeria in 1830, the palace of Mustafa Pasha. The traveler in a number of districts of the Algerian capital and some other cities sees the history of Algeria more than four centuries ago, from buildings, palaces and mosques, which defied the factors of time and people passing by, and remained steadfast, to silently recount some of the ancient historical tales of a country called Algeria. In the ancient neighborhood of the Lower Kasbah, not far from the sea, near the Katshwa Mosque and the old Grand Mosque, there is the Palace of Mustafa Pasha, which is still a living witness to the Ottomans in Algeria. History of the palace "Mustafa Pasha" was the ruler of Algeria from 1798 to 1805, or as he was called "Dai", who succeeded his uncle, "Dai Hassan," ordered the construction of a palace with very special engineering, and had it. The palace of Mustafa Pasha, built in 1779, was the family residence of the parents, his wife and children, his personal guard, his servants and servants. He was also home to the guests of the distinguished Dai, including the son of the King of France, the Duke of Orleans. With the advent of French colonization of Algeria in 1830, the occupation administration turned it into a national library in 1863, which included more than 2000 manuscripts stolen by the colonizer from the family libraries in Constantine after its occupation in 1837. The "Dai Mustafa Pasha" was killed in 1805 following a military coup caused by the civil disobedience declared by the people of Algeria on the Dai, and his grave is located in the "Bab Al-Wadi" in the Algerian capital not far from the palace. As it is inside Al Ain's news portal visited the palace and found tourists from Algeria, France, Germany and Italy, who agreed to the palace's dignity. Its architecture is one of the masterpieces of Islamic architecture and its historical and cultural value. In the Palace of Mustafa Pasha there is a courtyard known as the "courtyard courtyard", with a marble fountain and two subterranean floors. They are joined by solid marble columns with eight rooms. The Algerian authorities have turned them into a museum of the original line. At the entrance to the palace on the side of Yemen, there are stairs for the parents and his family only, leading to the five rooms on the top floor, and on the left there are other stairs dedicated to servants and maids. As they ascend, the visitor finds two other sections, one for the private bath "Baladi and his family" and the other for the large kitchen which includes 7 smokers in the style of the Palace of the Sultan's Harem. It is interesting to note that in the staircase of the Dai and the servants, it is different. The ramparts are small in thickness and size to make it easier to climb, while the servants' staircase has a large thickness, and everyone who uses it feels the difference between them and the ladders. In an attempt to preserve it from oblivion, the Algerian authorities turned the palace into a national museum of ornamentation, miniatures and calligraphy, on 7 November 2007, as part of the cultural investment of the ancient Kasbah area, classified as a global heritage of humanity. It was decided to convert all eight rooms into a museum that included a collection of paintings of decoration, miniature and original calligraphy, the paintings whose owners were "surprisingly astonished" in those paintings. When entering Al Ain's news portal to these museum rooms, it was found that the paintings were from Arab and other countries, including Algeria, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Egypt, Palestine, Yemen, China, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, India and Turkey.
