Really nice, quaint, good food, rapid service and full of locals. Very much in the local trend of petiscos (portuguese tapas) . Lots of small sharing plates on the menu as well as a few traditional main courses. Well priced, tasty and enjoyable.

Found space for us on a busy evening and had the best octopus, during my visit to Portugal, so far!

Delicious food and very nice atmosphere at this typical Portuguese restaurant. The interior is also nicely decorated and the service is very good. Highly recommend!

Worth taking a train or a taxi to have dinner here! The place is outside Lisbon, but on the way, you can enjoy the view! And what a view... ocean, waves, sun, vegetation. This place is small, so it's better to book in advance. We took the local clams (Ameijoas) with wine, garlic, and coriander and the Brie croquette. But you can order different dishes and share. Unfortunately, we were full this time. The service is very, very good.

Cozy, great place , gets crowded around Dinner Time ( Weekends) and a hidden gem for sure . Price for 6 adults incl soft drinks and a white wine sangria ( plates : 4 x Brased Thuner + 1 octopus + 1 Seafood Rice ) 2 coffeas, olives , bread and a mixed plate cheese and Portuguese meats 145€ incl VAT & Service . Reservation during high Season for Dinner / Weekends is a plus . Has also a small outdoor area .

Not satisfied with their food. My dish of Bacalhau à Zé Manuel was soaked in oil with no taste, and the vegetables wasn’t washed properly and it got sand mixed inside, the soak oil vegetables mix with sand, made me feel sick, shouldn’t try to finish it to avoid wasting food. (But the potato was the only thing that is good of that plate) The other dishes that my friends got are just okay, wasn’t really impressive.

Amazing food and wine and exceedingly nice and competent staff! I was there in a large group of people for dinner and everyone absolutely loved it. I'll definitely add to my "must come back" list!

Great quality of traditional Portugese food. The wine was excellent and even better were the shrimps. Would definitely recommend it

The food is great, the staff are super friendly and very helpful, and they're dog friendly. Having a late lunch outside at one of their barrels with our pooch on a warm Sunday afternoon has become one of our favorite things. Boteco, you guys are the best and always treat us well! ❤️❤️❤️

Restroom bit disgusting. Decent prices. Old furniture gives charming look but very uncomfortable. Trendy and always crowded. Covert very disappointing. Should be revised.

A family friendly, beachside cafe serving local seafood including delightful platefuls of cockles, deliciously fried cuttlefish, and fresh catch of the day. Step in for a late lunch after surfing in the morning, then saunter over to watch the pickleball players and paddle boarders relaxing on the Estoril / Cascais strip
