I
stayed
at
Casa
Vela
for
6
nights;
first
in
a
Jr
Double
room
(not
terrible
but
the
bed
wasn't
comfortable
for
me),
then
I
transferred
to
an
Exclusive
Superior
Double.
It
is
off-season,
so
I
was
able
to
view
a
few
options
and
select
the
one
I
liked
most.
Spent
5
nights
in
#29,
Tangerine,
and
I
absolutely
loved
it!
So
private
even
though
you're
in
a
glass
jewel
box
of
a
room.
It's
kind
of
like
being
inside
a
terrarium
(in
the
best
way),
surrounded
by
greenery
and
rocks!
Lovely
balcony
overlooking
the
gardens.
Rock
walls
behind
the
bed
and
in
the
bathroom.
There
are
a
fair
amount
of
stairs
and
inclines
leading
to
the
room
but
very
doable
and
fortunately
not
too
slippery
when
raining.
The
smaller
of
the
two
pools
on
property
is
about
6
steps
from
the
door
of
this
unit
(though
no
one
used
it
during
my
late
November
stay).
The
room
felt
spacious
and
the
staff
-
all
of
them
-
from
the
front
desk
staff,
to
the
cleaning
staff
to
those
helping
with
morning
breakfast
service
-
were
just
great!
The
gardens
have
so
many
vistas
to
be
discovered
-
they
really
are
super
special
and
inviting
(not
easily
captured
in
photos).
The
entire
property
is
very
well
managed
and
taken
care
of.
It's
an
easy
walk
into
the
center
of
Cascais
(maybe
10
min)
and
Bolt
is
super
affordable
(around
3.50
euros)
if
you
get
tired
and
prefer
to
get
a
ride
back
to
Casa
Vela.
The
neighborhood
in
which
this
guest
house
is
located
is
super
peaceful
and
charming.
Absolutely
a
wonderful
choice
for
your
stay
in
Cascais!
