Terrible experience here. Me and my partner came this town with group tour. Then we had a piece of cake there. When we were paying the bill, the female casher said CASH ONLY. Shocked, we have been travelled in Spain and Portugal for a month. Nerve happened. The bill was 3.7 euro. But I only had 2.5 euro in coins. So we went to the ATM as they told. However, our travel card was not working on the ATM machine. And it's our time to go back the tour bus. We told them we only can pay by card, Or just take 2.5euro. When we tried to leave, the casher And another waitress chased me and grab my phone from my hands and grab my cholthes, two of them. Policemen were nearby, they immediately run to us and separated us. THEN, THEN, the manager came out told policemen they can take card payment. How rediculous. The whole bus tourists waiting for us 20mins just because the shop owner or stuff wanted to save the surcharge or avoid TAX. I really want to know how.to report.them

It was such a lovely experience having lunch here. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful as my husband and I were in a rush (less than 30 minutes to spare until we had to go to our bus as part of a tour) and they prepared for us our order being mindful of this aspect. This kind of attitude makes us feel that we were right to choose Portugal for our vacation. Also, everything was super delicious!

Over price place with no credit card payment, cakes are good, however they are small size for the price. They have good quality on the cakes but it miss everything else to justify the over price.

This spot is just another location of this big chain of coffee restaurants. For who enjoys bakery, sweets, patisserie, etc. this is a great place to go and endulge into whatever products they have to offer. I myself am a gluten-free person and do not have a single option there. For me, this place is merely to have a coffee and a water, that's it! It is located in the smack center of Cascais and easily accessible also for handicapped/wheelchair. Parking can be somewhat of a hassle ...

Such a nice place to enjoy some pastries. Portugal is just amazing and those places called Padaria is the best place if you like some sweets and coffee. And it has a great location in Cascais! I certainly want to come back!

Great place to have breakfast! Might not have the best pastel de natas but their breakfast is worth having! This place is next to the beach so enjoy their breakfast then head over to the beachside.

Really good bakery and services for breakfast

Good selection of bakery goods and cake. Ice cream cakes are better than the regular cakes, which are too sweet and sugary. Black Forest sponge cake for example should have a tartness of fruit to contrast the sweet sponge and fatness of the cream (and the cream, or whatever it was had a fake taste to it). Decent coffee.

Delicious cake! So moist and fluffy! And lovely people :)

Not a tourist trap — so don’t expect good service and card payment. That means the food quality is the best locally.

Only cash. We were in the way instead of being customers. Pastel de nata were good.

Basic local bakery. Pastores were overall y sweet with little flavor. Coffee was fine.

First off, they are cash only. Beware unless you want to wash the dishes. I feel profoundly sorry for any place where they still live under a rock. I’d be inclined to grab a snack there again, but my cash reserves have nearly been depleted, so another visit isn’t happening until they wake up to the 21st century (and start accepting cards or crypto). There isn’t anything else noteworthy otherwise. It’s a chain, so it’s hard to go completely wrong by choosing this place, but it’s not special either. They have a decent pastry selection at good value, considering location, and the staff was quite nice. Coffee was a catastrophe, so sticking with pastries and water is recommended.

Terrible service, terrible Food, no payment with card. They will make you go to withdraw cash from an ATM Machine which will charge you 5 euro for the transaction. Those people are scammers. Be careful.

I like the cake. Not much for the drink. The place is crowded, I guess it's a popular cafe. Just fine for me.

Traditional Portuguese pastry shop but with a more polished feel. Very close to the beach so you can sit outside and enjoy the weather. They also have some good fresh made bread and they can slice it for you.

Next to the cashier it says no MBpay, but I couldn’t see any signs saying Cash Only. So I was surprised when they didn’t except any cards. So beware, cash only!

Very friendly and good service received from the lady in the bread section who also did the cashiering. Patient as I choose from all the available breads and helpful in explaining about the variety they have. It was a busy hour with most tables filled by dine-in customers yet she gave me good service! Usually the quality of service is tested during peak hours but she did very well and so as the other staffs of this branch. The breads I bought were very satisfactory and the price was reasonable given the location of this store. All I can wish is for me to receive forever such kind of service and experience every where I go :-)

Excellent bakery and pattiserie with wide choice of Portuguese staples and very good bread. Very friendly and polite staff, voluntarily wearing masks.

👍👍 Great place to grab a quick snack and enjoy a beautiful sight (dogs are welcome too and have a bowl of water!). Only downside is given the extreme small kitchen area that when a lot of people are present, orders can become tediously long to wait for. There is also a "How Dunes Work 101" explanation...

👍👍 We had a great experience here. The salmon ceviche in an avocado was perfect. It went well with the organic white wine and the ribs that we ordered. Ponta do Sal doesn’t have a full kitchen, so they can run out of certain items, but the servers are friendly and attentive. We will be coming back.

😠 Expensive, mediocre service, only accepts cash payments. In Portugal, in several Cafes, the same menu (coffee, orange juice, croissant) can be bought for almost half the price, and the products are of better quality (Padaria Portuguesa, Padaria do Bairro, Pingo Doce, Auchan, etc, all offer the same...
