The best restaurant ever. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Everything was amazing and since I ate there in the summer, I’m dreaming about this place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend octopus, small steak and shrimps. It’s the most memorable place from my trip to Portugal. Can’t wait to be back!

Charming eatery with 6-8 outdoor tables tucked away in a quiet corner surrounded by high walls. Young friendly staff with smiles on their faces. I arrived in Cascais around 730 pm drenched and hungry after a solo 24k coastal run from Belém. Dom Pedro on Google Map immediately caught my attention with its many stars and hundreds of reviews. I went straight for the ultimate umami dish “Arroz de Polvo”, i.e. rice with octopus. And mamma mia, umami tsunami that was! Washed down with one pint of Portugal’s ubiquitous Caneca beer. Life is all good afterwards!

Wow get away from the tourist tat and treat yourself to an original Portuguese experience. Great service from the owner and his staff food was excellent and authentic. Go up the ally in between Paul's and the Meusem its a hidden gem you won't regret it ✨️ 😉

This was out of this world. Very serious about what they do. You can quickly realize that from interacting with them about eg how to cook the dish etc. We had tuna steak, which was already good, but on request they gave us extra fried potatoes and garlic mayo. I guess the other dishes are good too. Book a table in advance, it is small. And it is in a separate class…

Loved this place! Very delicious food and helpful staff. No issues if you don't speak Portuguese. The atmosphere is very nice there.

In short, I was turned away. The staff said there's no more table, but outside tables aren't actually occupied and no customers. Inside is not even packed. One sit is all i need. Anyway, i went to a nearby restaurant instead.. Zoom in the photos and you can't see a single water droplet. And at least you should have explained to me right away that you don't want to clean up in case it rains. Anyway, will cross this out from my list on my next visit to Cascai as this was just recommended. And thanks for taking the time to reply to my review.

This great place is tucked away, off the beaten path where you’ll find the best food in town. Rodolfo, was excellent, the pride he has for his restaurant is evident in every way. The staff is friendly, as they treat their guests like family. My wife & I went 2 nights in a row bc the food and service were that good. Grilled Octopus is not to be missed. Get there early! Went back the 2nd night for it as it sold out the 1st night we were there. Make a reservation! The desserts are worth saving room for as well. Prices are more than reasonable for the flavor and quality this restaurant delivers. We had a bottle of wine with dinner as well. This should be the only 5 star restaurant in town! Thank you for 2 great evenings!

Delicious food, courteous and welcoming staff. I wish we had more time because we would have gone back again. This lovely restaurant is hidden in a little alley and we stumbled on it while walking around. The gentleman who assisted us and I assume is the owner speaks at least 4 languages very well which was quite impressive. We were very well taken care of during lunch. The patio is shady and very comfortable.

Brilliant little restaurant, tucked away just off the main square in Cascais. Went in 2017 and again last week and happy to say as good as ever. We went twice in a week. Sea Breem and Sea Bass were exceptional. The sardine starter and garlic shrimp very very tasty. The best bread too. The codfish split opinion between us, but it was still finished. Almond tart the best desert Lovely wine. Prices are very good too. There was an issue with the payment system and we didn't have enough cash. Rodolfo insisted it was fine but we were happy to go back and ensure they got the full amount and tip as the service is great too. A must visit for anyone wanting a simple but excellent meal in Cascais

The tuna steak was the best I've had in a few years, so I had to give the grilled prawns a go too, lovely. Thank you.

Amazing experience! Waiters are very nice and speak multiple languages fluently. Food is very good, whether it's fish or meat, it's gourmet but cheap, I recommend strongly!

One of the best restaurants where I have eaten! Tuna steak was amazing (tasty and soft like butter) and manager was friendly and gentle, also prices were very good! Absolutely a place to try!

😐 So, firstly, the food here was very good! The starters were very tasty and huge portions (so beware unless you're really hungry), and the pizzas we had were delicious. And if you have a table by the window facing the sea, the view is lovely. However... overall experience was soured by poor service....

👍👍 Perfection. Spider crab was very well cooked, and was cut and set to eat with least effort. Steamed octopus was so tender and seafood rice had rich taste. And all the foods went so well with green wine. Wish I could visit again.
