Been a patient for 8 years and until the last 2 years, it’s been somewhat of a painstaking experience. This is one of the worst clinics I’ve ever been to. Time waiting is ridiculous. Usually had to wait AT LEAST, 45 min to be called to see Dr. I’ve seen 5 different Drs because they keep quitting this awful place. Ended up with Mesha Dunn and she’s why I’ve decided to go to Douglas. I had a medications refill that I had to go to her office to be able to have it refilled. Because I CHOSE to not wear a mask, she cancelled ANY remaining refills I had!! Simply because I would not wear a mask. Being a physician, you would think she knows they’re not effective against ANY virus!!! Now I have terrible withdrawals from not having my medication. I believe her bottom line is not about MY medical needs but her control. I would highly recommend you DO NOT go to this “medical clinic”.

After reading her profile we liked Mesha Dunn for our sons PCP. When we brought him in for his 2 day old check up the nurse told me he has lost too much weight ( but within the normal 7-10%) and I would need to supplement with formula. We went back and forth on the formula topic for a bit when I told her I was going to exclusively breastfeed she "consulted Mesha" and then tried to tell me that my babe would be a failure to thrive if I didnt. She then told me his umbilical cord looked infected that i needed to watch it better and his color would need to be checked because he was "pretty yellow". All of these things were false. I was very emotional being only 2 days post partum and they cause unnecessary stress. We fired her immediately and found a PCP who really is about the actual care and choices of the patient. My babe was perfectly healthy. Now, nearly nine months later, my boy hasn't had a drop of formula and has surpassed every milestone with ease in advance. If I could have given zero stars I would have.

My husband, daughter, and me see Dr. Toni at Sage! We absolutely love her!! She always listens to every word we have to say and really cares about us and our family. She always takes the time to get to know us and how our life is. We have TricareWest insurance through the military and it is a pain to work with. However, Dr. Toni and her nurses do so well with it and get us taken care of every single time! As long as Dr. Toni is at Sage, we will continue to go there. Thank you!!!

First visit with Dr. Dunn was a disaster, one of the most negative and heartless physician with absolutely no compass. I heard she listens to you, but she didn’t listen to me in fact we never did get around to the real reason I was there. She knew nothing about my disease but she sure decided that I should go to the doctors in this town who do not know how to treat it. She knew just the meds to treat it, even though she knew nothing about the disease. I told her what meds I was on and she still didn’t listen, she already had her preconceived idea about me before she walked through the door. When a patient says they don’t want to go to a certain doctor you should not question them time and time again. This doctor knew nothing about my conditions until she walked in the room, how can you understand what is going on with a patient until you give them a chance to talk. It’s too bad Mesa can’t keep good doctors, I would have still been over there.

If you want a caring team of people that do what they say they are going to do.... Run far in the other direction from Sage Primary. Every time you call their front desk, someone picks up immediately AND places you directly on hold for a MINIMUM of 5 minutes. Then when you actually ask to speak to someone, who said “call me if you have any issues and we’ll get it taken care of right away”, that person or team is NEVER available and you have to leave a message for them with the receptionist (and who knows if the person actually ever gets the message). I had a test done and it was a pretty important one because a lot of not fun things run in my family, and was told that the results would be ready in 3-5 business days which is pretty standard. I was told when the test results were in I would receive a call from someone on the doctor’s team (again standard). I waited 3 days and hadn’t received a call, so I called towards the end of the day on a Friday, and was told the results weren’t ready. No biggie. I assume I’ll get a call sometime Monday then. Wednesday rolls around and I have heard nothing from Sage Primary. I call and was told the team wasn’t available and that they would “leave a message for them”. Their policy, from the mouth of a receptionist is “the team has 24 hours to respond to messages left for them.” Friday comes and I had still heard nothing. All in all I waited around two weeks for results because people were always too “busy”. I finally called and put my foot down and the “team” was still too busy for me, so the damn receptionist parroted the results to me from some person who probably wasn’t even paying attention. Also if you want prompt care for something as easy as a prescription refill order, good luck. Their policy is they have 24 hours to respond to any messages left for them, but they have 72 hours to do a medication refill order. 72 hours for something that should take a max of 10 minutes to do, if that tells you anything about their level of care for your well being. They really just want to drain your insurance for every penny, but do absolutely nothing for you in return because you have to fight for any care you may get.

The walk in clinic sent my 13 year old home with blood pressure of 150/100 and vomiting. Ended up in the ER with a kidney infection because they couldn't be bothered to check her urine or back at sage

I’ve been a patient for a couple years. Doctor Josh Hansen is a great doctor, his MA is amazing as well. But getting any of those girls in the office to answer the phone in the first place to get an appointment scheduled is insane. No one ever answers. They’ll even check you in for appointments when the doctor isn’t there and have you wait 25 minutes before they come to tell you his isn’t there that day. It’s amazing they even have patients at this point!

Waited an hour and 15 minutes to get my flu & shingles shot. Not real happy about it. And no they weren't busy at all. Edit: I do love Dr. Wells though.

This clinic refused to refill my asthma medication. They wanted me to schedule an appointment to see the doctor. Why do I need to schedule an appointment to REFILL asthma medication that I already TAKE? What am I supposed to do, just decide to suffocate or else pay into their scam? My asthma medication is not something optional.

Don't get your non-rapid Covid tests from here. They send them to a lab called "Curative San Dimas" in California that has a very poor track record with delayed and potentially innacurate results. We've been waiting 4 days for results after being told it would take 1-2 days and just received confirmation that the sample arrived. Smh... if we needed to quarantine the time will be up when we actually get results.

Me and my husband hand had very bad care with Mesha Dunn. She doesn't care about the patient she just wants the paychecks. She doesn't listen to you. Has no compassion. And if she doesn't like what you have to say she opens her door an say we are done.

This facility has only deteriorated in patient care. Impossible to see my doctor. They don’t keep their appointments.

The check in went well. The lady at the front desk was very nice, and helpful. But that is where it ends. We have been sitting in the exam room for over 45 minutes. We have not seen nor heard from any of the staff since being put in the room. If you are looking for prompt care this is not the place. I am beginning to wonder about the ability of the physician if you have to wait this long.

Absolutely awful experience. Toni Patik doesn't care about her patients and has unrealistic expectations for them and then punishes them for not doing something she demands when it's ill advised by every other healthcare professional in town. Just recently switched to Sage, and I won't be going back. Awful staff tells you one thing, wastes your time, then tells you to buzz off basically. Cannot even begin to describe how unprofessional and how little empathy that they have for their patients. They see nothing but $ signs rather than people. I was told that she didn't care about my unique needs and it's ridiculous how cold they treat people. Don't recommend going to Sage primary whatsoever. Had to go to the ER to get what I should've been able to do at Sage. I greatly recommend not dealing with them, it won't be a pleasant experience unless you like being seen as a dollar sign rather than a human being.
