    They never have what I am looking for, they never stock enough of the basic items (milk, eggs, bread), especially on holidays and their customer service is terrible. The management simply doesn't care about their customers and they treated me terribly when I complained about out of stock merchandise. The female manager literally shrugged and walked away from me. If this wasn't the only store in Castaic, I would go elsewhere. Out of eggs on a sunday...ridiculous! Update: 6 years later and not much has changed. There is never a shopping trip where I find everything I want. They blame it on covid but now in 2023 I don't think so. Other Ralph's have a well stocked store.

    We are staying nearby for work for a short time. The manager has checked me out both times I have visited. BOTH times spending over $300. The first time she scanned a card for me to get the discount. I asked the second time I shopped and she got incredibly snippy and said we don't do that anymore. I am fine with policies changing, but she was very unprofessional with her tone and the way she treated me. Even the customer behind me was taken back. I am understanding and would have been fine with it. All of the other employees on the floor were more than helpful. A Gentleman in the back went to get a creamer that was not out on the shelf. We don't live here and don't have a ralphs where we are from. But, I stood there and held up one of their only two functioning lines (which were backed up) to fill out a paper for this woman so I may receive junk mail for all of the foreseeable future. We will be in town a bit longer and have also chosen to shop elsewhere.

    I will give only want to start because of the flower, Latin lady who is very unhelpful and rude! I ask her to make me a bouquet of flowers and I will. I did mine pay extra, but she said she was very busy. She can t help us

    Clean, well stocked, friendly staff, super easy, quick access just off the Interstate 5, plenty of easy access parking and a Bank of America in the same lot. Ralph's as usual gas a huge selection, clean bath rooms and decent prices, plus some lower prices if you sign up for their customer card.

    I love to visit Ralphs, their variety and freshness of their products invite me to shop there, but when I have to deal with unprofessional, poor quality customer service it does not make to want to come back. Early morning today, the 7th of April, around 8:30 I was ready to check out and I was mistreated by this worker named Mayra, I asked for her help to scan some products to what she yelled at me to look for a code on the product, I was already aware that this fresh product did not have it, the way she talked to me made me feel very uncomfortable, it wasn't enough for her to yelled at me, she explained how to look for the product with attitude, like when you do not want people to ask you any question. I continue scanning and I was able to see her looking at her cellphone, I paid and I was ready to leave when I looked at her and with a defiant tone she asked me if I needed something else. I was horrified, I walked up to her and I told her that she made me feel very uncomfortable, she just gave me a poor answer, she said that it was probable because she had other customer to help, believe me, the store at that time is almost empty, I mentioned to her how good professional workers I find when I visit the stores located on McBean parkway or Stevenson Ranch to what she responded that no everyone is the same. Omg I asked to speak to her supervisor Marc, he looked very busy, he was on the phone but he listened to what I have to say, he only said that he will talk to her, there was not an apology, no from her, no from him, I understand why she acted the way she did, professionalism is something that comes from the top. I believe Ralphs must train their workers about real, efficient customer service, and tell them that their problems must be left outside when coming for work because no one has to pay for their problems. A humble, honest apology would have been enough!!!.

    Terrible customer service, most of the cashiers are rude. I have noticed a lot of mistakes on my receipts ( items not ringing up at the sale price. I have had to make extra trips to return the items because they won’t make an effort to check the pricing errors and I’m tired of being treated poorly when I’ve asked for help.)

    I like to go to the self checkout. But I have noticed over a period of several months. The self help ladies always interfere with me while I am checking my groceries. I notice that they stand around but when I check out my groceries all of a sudden they get very hands on. Is it because I am a Black Lady? They make me feel very uncomfortable. This only happens at this Ralphs Market and this is the only Ralphs I leave feeling very depressed.

    The only reason they’re busy is because it’s the only grocery store in Hasley Canyon. Most employees are not helpful, especially those older ladies. Sometimes I felt “is it my skin?” Just got some pasta that have sign $10/10 but still charge me $15 for 10. Called the attendance and didn’t help. The lady said that it’ll change to $10 when I pay, but it didn’t

    They should either close this store or fire everybody and start over. Not only are the checkout ladies rude and unprofessional, but even the other employees act like you are an inconvenience to them. VERY BAD STAFF

    I come here often, never had any issues. Store is open late which is nice, and the aisles are well labeled. Registers don't currently accept tap to pay but the payment app works well, and also lists where various items are in-store. Edit: As of 2023 they do now support tap to pay.

    The best thing that happened at this ralphs was the self check out. Half of the older checkers were always very rude. Robots for the win at this store with exception of a handful of employees who actually work with a great attitude.

    I literally visit this Ralph's market about 3x or more a week for my lunch or dinner needs since I work very close by. The store itself is clean and well stocked. This review is about the atmosphere and treatment from the workers and checkers. The staff are very condescending, judgemental, and unfriendly. I use self checkout to avoid contact as much as possible because of their treatment. It is 2023, and the workers act as if it is a privilege for me to shop in their store. I get the impression that the workers have no regard to assist me, and the interactions among them is withdrawn and a bit smug. Management should look into some of these issues for sure. Believe me, the unkind behavior of the checkers and cashier's have NOT gone unnoticed. I SEE exactly what and KNOW exactly why I feel the lack of friendly customer service at this location. Thanks.
