Nice restaurant with a great selection of fish and sea food. The fennel salad wasn’t special, but the red snapper we had as a main dish was exceptional and well served. The atmosphere of the place is OK. I personally had the feeling that tourist weren’t treated as well as locals.

Most of the food we ordered was decent. The oysters were the highlight. But the service wasn’t. After taking our first order was extremely slow, which didn’t make sense as the restaurant was getting emptier as the night progressed. They also needed to be reminded to bring the wine we had ordered and even to place the second order.

Tasteless food, poor service, low value for money: to avoid. They seem only caring about making easy cash from ordes of naive tourists, like me :(), rather than creating a memorable experience for the customer.

I celebrated my birthday there and the owner treated me like a princess: fine sea urchins, tuna tartare, oysters, champagne! You enjoy the nice wines cellar Just Bayside the harbour where you can see the people walk by. The sweets are famous as well, all very refined! The price is worth the service and food. Ici Les yeix mangent Aussi. The only inconvenient is loud music from neighbors restaurants.

The restaurant location is ideal spot for eating in Castellammare del Golfo. The pasta was nice but the desert was a little to sweet for my liking. Presentation was good. The price of food is 16-22 euro for pasta so not the cheapest place to eat in Sicily.

The place is nice - the vibe, the waiters & hostess was really nice to accept us even though the restaurant was supposed to be closed 30 minutes after we came. And they stayed till we finished not bothering us. Nice view at the sea, vivid street. The only thing that the seafood was not the freshest. Especially considering the prices, that were a bit higher than average in this little town, we were expecting the best food experience. But even though it was good. I also liked the mirrors with song lyrics on them on the way to the bathroom 😜

The Ambiente is very inviting, the prices are a little too high for the preparation and quality of the food. The small portions suggest it's a fine restaurant - the service does not meet the requirements. Would not recommend.

Perfect. Tuna and orata tartar, freshest fish, great pasta. Lemon pie, tiramisu, cassata all great. Simply the best place we tried on Sicily. Will be back soon.

Great food, lovely team, amazing vibe, exciting wine. I truly recommend this place if you're around.

Everything was fantastic.....even seated us on a super busy Saturday night without a reservation. Recommend the grilled tuna
