We
just
spent
6
nights
at
Simone's
camping
and
loved
it.
So
I
want
to
write
a
few
sentences
to
share
our
experience.
General
setting
at
the
camp
site:
We
felt
welcomed
immediately,
surprised
by
the
clean
and
well
kept
surroundings.
There
are
two
pools,
one
is
just
over
a
year
old.
All
the
facilities
were
built
over
the
last
five
years,
so
everything
is
in
a
very
good
condition.
For
families
it
seems
like
an
ideal
site.
It's
spacious
and
away
from
any
road
and
for
some
days
the
kids
enjoy
just
being
on
site
itself.
The
pitches
are
big,
also
comfortable
for
caravans.
There
is
a
barbecue
area
with
tables
and
chairs,
shade
and
a
lot
of
space.
Simone
gave
us
bikes
that
are
old
but
good
to
have.
Two
people
pay
44€
per
night
which
seems
a
comparably
good
price.
Another
offer
is
a
dinner
for
25€/person
that
includes
3
courses,
water
and
wine.
The
food
was
excellent
and
the
setup
like
in
a
fine
restaurant.
For
5€/person
you
can
order
breakfast
from
8-10.
It
includes
fresh
fruit,
toast,
jam,
cake,
coffee
and
juice.
We
really
enjoyed
having
these
luxuries
offered
at
a
camp
site.
Location
and
city:
The
beach
is
about
15
minutes
by
foot
away,
by
bike
or
car
much
faster
of
course.
Castiglioncello
is
a
beautiful
small
village
with
a
supernarket,
really
good
ice
cream
and
pizza
as
well
as
clothing
stores.
The
beaches
right
in
the
city
are
really
nice
with
stones
and
a
promenade.further
south,
about
7
kilometers,
you
find
the
beginning
of
"Italian
Caribbean"
with
white
sand
shores.
Directly
north
of
the
city
begins
a
beautiful
shore
line
with
bigger
rocks
to
jump
off
and
cliffs
with
stunning
views.
The
houses
on
top
of
the
cliffs
are
amazing.
If
you
want
to
stay
longer
than
5
days
it
is
helpful
to
have
a
car
or
bikes
so
you
can
explore
the
surroundings
more.
Simone
might
even
give
you
a
lift
to
a
rental
shop
for
scooters
and
bikes
if
you
ask
him.
It's
a
beautiful
hilly
area
with
good
vine
and
excellent
oil.
Simone:
All
this
was
nice
but
what
really
excited
us
was
Simone.
He
is
the
owner
of
the
olive-farm
and
housekeeper
of
the
campsite.
By
talking
to
him
I
found
that
he
has
a
vision
for
the
city
and
by
observing
him
I
found
he
has
a
great
love
for
detail.
His
caring
and
gentle
character
makes
this
place
a
home.
We
found
a
new
friend
with
the
heart
of
a
father.
Somehow,
he
always
managed
to
show
up
when
we
needed
him,
plus,
he
is
an
excellent
cook.
