Amazing service meets mouth watering food. Just amazing flavorful food, what ever we ate. Our server Peter even spoke English for me and translated some of the Spanish names for me, he guided us what was best to try. We ended up eating a lot of tapas. I highly recommend. Please try the Iberian ham; it’s just delicious 😋they have both indoor and outdoor sitting.

Genuine Spanish hospitality, food and service. Ate here 3 times with my no holds barred fussy and discerning family in 2019. Again in 2023. Consistently excellent, My favourite is the oxtail stew and cod. Yum! Although the decor could do with a spruce up, it is part of the charm. Highly recommended.

Ok, this is by far my favorite restaurant in Sevilla! I've been living here for over 5 weeks now with my husband and have tried quite a bit of local spots. Most places are good and offer traditional tapas, but this place do too and adds a culinary twist to them. For example, their Pavías Bacalao (fried cod) is fried like a tempera (not a lot of batter and very clean tasting) served with this yummy sauce. We also got their house made stew - it's their famous Ibérico pork stew served with potatoes. We also tried their Setas (mushroom) with shrimp, jam and Bechamel sauce. They were all delicious!!! The place was full of locals the day after Xmas and all of the servers were friendly. We can't wait to come back here and try other tapas!!!

Food is kind of a hit or miss, even for ingredients in one dish. The mushroom with shrimp, egg and dried pork were excellent except that the “black” line of the shrimps were not removed. I know I was dining in a Michelin stars restaurant but this did ruining the sensation of the dish. It was not a pleasant experience to have “sand” in your mouth. Pork cheek in red wine was cooked to perfection. The meat was very tender. I am a big octopus fan but octopus salad here was not bad, but just okay. The biggest disappointment came from the ox tails. It was salty. The chef must be looking at something else rather than the amount of salt in his hand. Sangria was excellent.

Service was fantastic and the waiter was really lovely to us despite us not speaking any Spanish and him not speaking English. The food was incredible! We had a big plate of the fried eggplant sticks, and tapas for the following: octopus salad, goat cheese with walnut sauce and the salmorejo soup special. Everything was incredible and it tasted so good. Very pleased to have just randomly walked into this place. Absolutely delicious and would recommend!

Downtown location but not touristic zone. Short menu as it should be. Very quick service. Good looking and tasty food.

Nice place, the service was fast but the waiters weren’t nice. The sangria was bad. The lagrimitas were good, but the octopus salad didn’t taste of octopus at all.

Solid restaurant - service was very friendly. Food tasted nice. A bit heavy for my tastes. Google maps reviews were more solid than my experience overall but I think this is worth a try. I had octopus salad which tasted like potato salad with some small slivers of pulpo. I would pass on that. The fried cod tapas was good but heavy on the batter but rested on a nice sauce. Pork medallion special tapa that was recommended was good not great. Sangria was nice though. Lots of food for about €17 for my individual lunch.

We stopped here for a late lunch, while killing time for our flight home. It really deserved its own night out. The food was very very good. The veal meatballs and the pork in whiskey sauce were delicious, and both of their sauces were outstanding. Service was not rushed at all, which really enhanced the atmosphere of a nice long lazy lunch. We ate so much we were still full hours later. An unintended but very worthy final meal for Seville.

We had a great time dining at Palo Santo tonight. The food was interesting and full of flavour. We were served by Vega, who was a joy! He made sure we had the best dining experience. Muchas gracias.

Wow, what a meal. This was one of our best dining experiences on the last visit to Sevilla so we were looking forward on returning. Loved the mussels with foie, the mushrooms with bechamel and Jamón, the albóndigas in mushroom sauce. The fried fish was cooked perfectly with the thinnest coating. Great wine which was incredible value for money. The service was very special and the friendliest we've experienced in Spain. Can't wait to return! If you arrive when they open you should be OK without a reservation

Came twice during our visit in Sevilla, it was recommended by a local. Good food and good service. We had the tomato salad, salmon croquettes (on special), and ox tail (shared everything between 2 and it was plenty) both times, highly recommend.

I don’t remember what we actually ate, but everything was super tasty. Everything was perfect, food, drinks, atmosphere, but the best thing about this place was service and our waiter. He didn’t speak almost a word in English and we didn’t speak a word in Spanish, but we totally understand everything he tried to say to us :) He made our dinner even more fun! Definitely recommended.

We had an amazing dinner here! Our waiter was incredibly thoughtful, helpful, and gave us amazing suggestions. Everything we had there was amazing. We loved the albóndigas, croquetas, and huevos estrellados. The dessert was amazing (we were stuffed, but worth it). It was hands down our favorite tapas place in Sevilla.

Super amazing food with the best service! They have the best tapas fried cod in town. Baby squid is super fresh and salmon is delicious.

We had the Salmorejo and Arroz con Cartillada (chile rice with pork cheeks) after a long walk and it tasted like homemade comfort food. Highly recommend coming here if you are in the area. As a bonus, the staff are very friendly, and were happy to accommodate my rudimentary spanish.

Just left and happily bloated. Great staff, menus in English if you want them and the first waiter I've found in Spain who would speak slowly so I could try to communicate in Spanish. Food is spectacular and tapas of good value i.e. three enough to satisfy a confirmed glutton. Meal out for me of about 16 euro including several beers and vino dulce; worth every penny. GO. NOW!

As I am staying close by for 2 months, I went there upon my arrival. I speak Spanish with an obvious foreign accent and was automatically treated as a tourist. I was right away annoyed by the invasive and pushy presence of the waiters. Then the food was not up to its promises, rather pretentious in description and average in execution. That was supposed to be much better than the other "institution" at the opposite corner of the square, the next night proved otherwise !

I really enjoyed a lovely gastronomic experience at this place. It was Friday evening and it was super packed (not sure whether it's in this way during the week but that wouldn't surprise me at all). I had to wait for about 20min but it was well worth... I would definitely recommend this place... really delicious food and good and friendly customer service... fantastic experience

👍👍 Top-notch unpretentious tapas, served as from a deli counter - and amazingly good for just off the main shopping stretch. A good option for lunch or an early evening snack. The octopus salad was generously-sized and perfectly tender. Drinks were refreshing and cold. Atmosphere was jolly and local....
