This Subway Shop never disappoints me. I’ve been going here for the past 5 years. Whenever I need a quick pick me up I pick this specific location. The staff here is extremely nice and helpful and always seem happy. The location is perfect. Right next to a gym, so after my workout I’ll stop by at Subway for a quick sandwich. The bathrooms here are very clean and looks like they are always taken care of and cleaned. The counter and the looking glass are always clean and tidy. The workers are always wearing gloves and I haven’t seen any nasty moment. The seating place is nice and roomy. There are only a few tables but this place is rarely crowded. Overall.... Customer service 5 stars Food 5 stars Cleanliness 5 stars

Downgrading my review. Not sure what has happened with ownership/staffing at this location. Use to be excellent, now one of the worst I have ever had. Should have just left. Stopped in to get 3 sandwiches. There were two guys working, hopefully they were just high as kites if not they should not be out without supervision. One guy just played music from his phone while the other struggled to remember my request from 3 seconds earlier. Took forever, multiple comments how they didn't really care if they were out of something because they only worked there and they needed to go because it was almost 5pm. The music guy thought it was particularly funny to mess up the cash out on purpose. Good thing this was a test run for multiple business orders I have coming up. Clearly that money will be going somewhere else. Plenty of people want business, this does not seem like one.

We ordered a toasted sandwich but the bread was burnt.

This location does not honor ANY of the company's coupons. So, if you want to use them, go to the other CV subway locations. I was very rudely told that when I had already ordered a sandwich, so the owner (who was there) wanted me to pay full price, to which I said NO way. I told him the signage was very confusing as to what coupons are accepted and what are not. So, he kicked me out of the store and told me "never to come back". No problem, I won't ever return. I complained to corporate about the confusing signage about coupons, the owner being so rude and him not accepting ANY corporate coupons. Corporate got back to me and apologized for him but I will never return to this store.

This place has changed over time. It is difficult to park here. my last visit in November 2021 was prolematic. I ordered ahead as usual. when I arrived well after the time the order was promised. they had no even started the order. they had a long line and 1 person working the noon rush. I asked the person to just process a credit on my order. I indicated my dissatisfactoion on the email survey sent to me by the subway app. The owner responded. he indicated he would process a refund and asked me for my account information. I gave it to him, but he failed to process the refund. I was prompted to write this review after eceiving another email from him apologizing for my bad experience bu still does not seem to think refunding my order is important. Do you really want to patronize a business like this

Hi ! I was there about 2-3 days ago and the worker “Sam” was really respectful and kind , he made my sandwich fast and was really nice , he made conversation with me and was really being just so polite!! I will be back soon to order another sandwich. Thank you

Fast and friendly service! Sam was quick and courteous and makes the best sandwiches. 10/10 would recommend.

Honestly not the best experience so far. Very uninterested employees, working with music in, getting annoyed when they couldn’t hear you first time because they have to pause their music, and dirty toilets. Subs were ripped open instead of cut, all in all not the best experience.

Employees have to be careful while making sandwiches. I have seen their sleeves touching the food

It has been a while, but they are back in business again. This is one of the best places to eat in castro Valley.

I visited this subway for an online order pick up. There was a problem with an order and I let the employee know. He quickly addressed the issue!

I rarely leave bad reviews but if you want to be late and also have a bad sandwich, come here.
