Great little museum and ruins adding colour and depth to Spanish history. Could use more English as there was none but still good.

Much bigger than we thought it would be, and still more being excavated

What a lovely little hidden gem, fantastic Roman ruins that you can stroll around and a very interesting and informative museum. It was very quiet when we were there but we were made to feel very welcome and staff went out of thier way to be helpful.

A Preroman and later Roman settlement that was unearthed in an archeological dig. The site is very well preserved and offers a lot of information. Adjacent to the Castro is a small museum (free entry when we were there) showing pieces that have been found on site. The descriptions of life in the village and the objects are all in Galician, but translations can be found in leaflets free of charge.

Fascinating place, interesting history.

Incredible Celt settlement , still to be discovered how and when this very old architectural structure came to existence , a must seen when visiting Lugo and it's points of interest
