We booked this place a little bit by chance when looking for a place to sleep in Castro. This is one of our best experiences, by far, of our 4-months trip in South America, that felt so authentic. Miguel is an excellent host, he is also a guide and therefore can help you plan your stay in Chiloe. He speaks many languages and helped us improve our spanish a little. The house feels like home, the beds are comfy and the atmosphere is really quiet. We had the chance to share a meal he cooked for us, and that has been really good : we had a really good time up to 1am. Thanks again Miguel, a big hug from France!

Excellent place to stay in Castro! The owners are lovely people who go out of their way to help you and ensure you have a great time in Chiloé. Don Miguel speaks perfect English which is very helpful for those like me with only basic Spanish skills! They serve a great breakfast for only $2000CLP per person. Shared bathrooms are very clean and the showers are hot with good water pressure. A very short walk to the main part of town; I highly recommend!

We had such a good stay here. The beds are super comfy and the host is super friendly. Speaking very slowly so that we can understand him. The breakfast is good. One bread roll, ham and cheese for everyone, tea, cookies, cereals and fruit.

We had a great stay here. the rooms are small and cosy. Fireplace heating the whole house and kitchen dining room with a view of Castro. Centrally located. Hospitality was amazing. and great rates. Will definitely go back.
