I had a surprise baby shower set up by my friends. The place is absolutely beautiful and set up so well. We were in a private room downstairs which was so well presented. The staff were wonderful and got us everything we needed and made sure that we were looked after. We had an afternoon tea/different meals off the main menu. the food was lovely and everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. There’s so many places to take some great pictures for Instagram (which we loved). I met the owner of the store and I have nothing but amazing things to say about her. She was polite, lovely, made sure we had everything we needed. I also took home a couple of cakes home and they were delicious. I could not recommend visiting Beauty and the Feast whether it’s for afternoon tea/brunch/lunch. You won’t be disappointed

Friendly place nice cafe in Purley with breakfast and lunch options plus desserts and waffles. Have board games and nice areas to take photos. Serve "oh so yum" bakes from Harpreet of the Apprentice. Delicious. Can hold private events. Free street parking locally or opposite a paid car park. Vegetarian options Great atmosphere!

Glad I stumbled across this gem in Purley. The cinnamon waffle and kinder beuno milkshake were delicious, not too sweet. The venue was incredible, the perfect setting for special occasions, with space over two floors for celebrations. The owner was courteous and very friendly. Highly recommended.

We are regulars to this lovely cafe, which my little girl calls it as the “pink shop”. Extensive menu options for brunch, light snacks and afternoon tea, all reasonably priced and of high quality. The owner and staff are very welcoming and we’re well looked after at every visit. Really lucky to have this special place in the neighbourhood without going into central London. While it’s pink it’s not just for girls, my boy loves it too, especially the board games downstairs.

Lovely little coffee shop. Only got to meet the owner who was very lovely and inviting. The place has a lot on offer, not just the regular coffee so do check in with the staff. As for a venue for birthday or any other celebration, it is very well decorated and just the right size. There's also a massive parking space opposite the cafe and plenty on side streets. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Beauty and the Feast is a beautiful cafe and events space in the Purley and Couldson area. We popped in yesterday for a late lunch, myself, my mum and 10 year old daughter. The service was warm and friendly and we enjoyed the food. My daughter absolutely loved her Oreo buffle waffle and ruby hot chocolate! Vera, the owner, is very welcoming and is clearly passionate about her business and building her brand. The signature pink decor is tastefully put together with gold accents, floral displays, beautiful pictures and quotes which makes the cafe unique and sets it apart from other places in the area. The events space downstairs is delightful and a great setting for all sorts of parties and soirees. We will definitely visit again and wish Vera all the best in her venture!

Well, what an amazing find. Heading off to breakfast with my son and stopped here to get out of traffic. The people who look after you are just wonderful. And the food is great. I had the avo on toast, my son the smoked salmon bagel. Both were as good as I’ve every had. Milkshake and smoothie also had and very much enjoyed. A great place - wholly recommended. (PS - the avo on sour dough toast in the pic was on a large plate - a very generous portion but not apparent from the photo).

Absolutely quaint find. We were so pleased to see such a beautiful place in the heart of purley. We really felt like we were in London. The staff were amazing. Vera the owner was so helpful, polite. Always on hand if we needed anything. We are definitely going to be back. My Mum and I are quite fussy eaters especially with our coffees that need to be in a cup and saucer. But we were more than satisfied. Beautiful small new business that needs to be cherished. We are so lucky. Already spoke to many friends who will be coming and have already been. Thank you for a lovely brunch . X

Held my daughter’s 7th birthday at Beauty and the Feast. Mini make over and Spa party for 10 children. The girls had an amazing time. The venue is 10/10 and the food and drink provided were beautifully displayed. The nails and glitter make up were also a hit. They had such a great time pampering themselves. The owner is very friendly and approachable. Great service all round and all worth the price. Highly recommend.
