👍👍 Have been looking for a new place for breakfast having gone to all the more obvious locations like Priory Farm. O Farol is definitely now on our rotation list. Great selection of food and drinks for the whole day. Had the poached eggs and chorizo which was amazing and the full English was also top... Have been looking for a new place for breakfast having gone to all the more obvious locations like Priory Farm. O Farol is definitely now on our rotation list. Great selection of food and drinks for the whole day. Had the poached eggs and chorizo which was amazing and the full English was also top notch. Free babycinos were also a highlight for my children! We will be back in the near future and with extra family reinforcements!

Really great place. Food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. Went for my friends birthday and when I told the waitress it was friends birthday, she surprised her with a chocolate cake. Amazing service and our server was first class, thank you!

What a lovely place for lunch. Chicken sandwich is massive and delicious. Good, well-priced coffee and cakes. Will definitely return for dinner sometime soon.

Whenever I've walked past here it's been too busy to get a seat and now I know why! So glad I got to go today. The staff are lovely and really accommodating. I ordered the BLT and didn't realise it came with chips and salad. An absolutely HUGE portion - was very surprised. I had to wrap half of the sandwich up to take home! If you're hungry, you'll do well here. Very fresh ingredients and delicious coffee. I'll definitely be back when I'm next in Purley. Thank you.

First time eating at this restaurant, had lunch from their lunch time menue which is more or less all sandwiches and wraps at lunch time, although you can order from evening menu also. Had a fish sandwich which was served with a little salad and fries. Nicely presented and tasted nice. They do freshly squeezed juices, which are lovely. Service good, restaurant at the back is bright and airy, not sure where the loo's were. Would recommend.

I'm extremely pleased with the service Nuno provided for my daughter's birthday cake. Professional, friendly and attentive to detail. In the picture the cake had already been cut by us.

Lovely little gem in Croydon. From the front, not clear that there is restaurant sitting in the back. Food was really well cooked and tasty. Had the steak and cheese tacos and sardines as a mains instead of starters. Only negatives for my dish is that even tho the beef taco was delicious there was hardly any beef in there. Seemed like half a steak between both tacos. Mainly bread and salad. The sardines was perfectly cooked but guts not cleaned. My aunt had penne carbonara with very interesting mushrooms that I really enjoyed when I tasted my aunts dish. Very large portions and really tasty. There was a special occasion there so was quite noisy. But fantastic customer service and food was delish. Would definitely go back again.

As Portuguese myself I wouldn't call it a Portuguese restaurant. If you are looking for an authentic experience, look somewhere else. Restaurant is beautiful but very warm. If you don't tolerate warm environments, wear light clothes. Quality of food is average for the price. Restaurant staff are nice but service is very very slow.

The best club sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The cafe is beautifully decorated and makes you feel like you have stepped into a Portuguese eatery. They have an extensive menu, and serve wonderful wines, cocktails and smoothies! Will be back again - thank you for your wonderful service x

Best cafe in Purley. Lovely staff, brilliant food, coffee much nicer than the chains. Also do some of the best donuts ever. Good selection of beer and wine if you fancy a drink. Very accomodating of families too. Plenty of room to sit together in the back

I popped in today looking for something nice for lunch and luckily got a table as they were busy. Very lovely staff and amazing food I had the Camembert for starter which was amazing the best I've ever had and for main the superfood salad the best salad I've had in a long time and just looked beautiful. Thank you for fitting me in and for your great service.

It was fantastic 🥰 it was my birthday and as a breakfast lover, my husband treated me to some and he couldn't have chosen any where better. I was overjoyed. Ambience, food portion, service and quality of food was fantastic. I am definitely visiting again. Thank you 😍💃

A little gem on Purley High Street. Beautiful Portuguese food and lovely surroundings. I was surprised when we went into what I thought was another coffee shop, and was seated by a friendly member of staff in the restaurant at the back. Light & airy with interesting art on the walls we had a leisurely lunch of tasty cod A Farol with seasonal veg and roasted baby potatoes. Good selection of wines and deserts on offer, I recommend the cheesecake of the day. The peach & cherry crumble was a triumph! Fruit was arranged in a little pan with proper crumble topping and baked in the oven to perfection! No microwave here, the fruit juice was still bubbling at the edges😋. We will definitely be back for coffee & cake or a sandwich.

Wonderful breakfast this morning. I asked if the toppings for my granola could be changed, really wanted the caramelised bananas that were available with the French crumpets - the request was happily accommodated and the granola was amazing! My husband had the fry up and was pleased with it, a good size portion too. The toast needed to be slightly more toasted but a minor snag in what was a lovely breakfast.
