We accidentally ended up at Funk Cider, and it was a nice experience. The staff were great to chat to. Good parking space and heaps of seating in the venue. Heaps of different ciders, you can also do a tasting paddle. We think it would be a great atmosphere in the warmer months. Only reason for 4 stars is that none of us loved any of the cider - but that’s not to say that might change in the future when new brews are released!

My family & I went to Funk Cider on Mother’s Day - Sunday, the 14th of May. We have visited this venue previously & loved the atmosphere and the quality of food and drinks. This time though, it was a complete disappointment. It started off with the IPA my husband ordered. We have ordered IPA from several restaurants & pubs in the past but never have we come across such a foul tasting IPA. It tasted sour & medicinal. At least, they allowed us to get another drink in exchange when I complained. The ciders we ordered were good but not worth the cost. My daughters ordered a vegetarian burger each with chips which was average. My husband and I who are small eaters decided we could share the $26 fish & chips plate. We stared at it in disbelief when it arrived. It was a thin strap of over fried, unappetising leathery fish on a small bed of fries. Seriously?!! One piece of fish for $26 the length of my husband’s hand! If I wanted a kids portion of fish & chips, I would have ordered it. I know prices have gone up but this is ridiculous. What a pathetic show! Rest assured, it spoiled my Mother’s Day lunch... Never again!

Open air beer garden filled with picnic tables, all dog-friendly. Part of cider / Brewery tours so every now and then a big busload turns up but the service is super friendly, food is a simple menu but good. Craft ciders and batch ciders are interesting and different and also plenty of local juices and non-alcoholic options as. Good vibes on Sunday with a DJ there so great for group catchups. Great gluten free pizzas and burgers too.

Went to Funk in Caversham for the first time and loved it!! It's a cute little venue, perfect for a Sunday sesh! The atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly and efficient. There was a wide range of drinks on offer and the food did not disappoint! We shared a bunch of the pizzas and some loaded fries between us and tasted all the different beer & cider paddle options. We all had a very fun and relaxing experience and will definitely be back again soon! :)

We'd never done cider tasting before, but thoroughly enjoyed it Two paddles (eight tasting samples) between three of us, and we liked them so much we bought take aways. Staff were lovely - we had a great chat with Gordon, who enthusiastically not only helped us through the tasting, but helped us plan the rest of our day in the Swan Valley. Top marks all round, great experience and we'll be back

Funks always great. They let me park me scoot I side and staff ate always helpful and funny. Perfect in the spring and summer and winter you need to rug up a bit as the huge gum trees block all the warmth. No setback though. Cheers guys

Even if you don't drink cider (though my company says it's excellent!), these guys do superb pizza and magnificent customer service - right down to the picnic rug letting us nap on their downright luscious lawn in the delicious shade and breeze... Cannot recommend enough.

The best cider, absolutely outstanding food. An amazing place, great, thriving, bubbly, atmosphere. Highly recommend the cider tasting paddle, we had the fruit infusions. The pineapple cider is divine and don't miss the apricot cider, possibly my favourite ever, but take it easy, it's 8%!! Some of the best chicken wings going and the meat sharing board was absolutely out of this world. It was the perfect size for three to share and to soak up some cider. Can't wait to go back! We spent two weeks in WA and this was an absolute highlight for me ☺️ It's firmly on the list for our next visit in 2024!

Booked in for lunch for my 40th- we had forty people and arranged taco boards and drinks. Great food and plenty of it, large selection of drinks and wonderful staff. We had a great time and it made my day really wonderful. Can’t thank the staff enough!

Pretty large space with many outdoor tables and benches - we were there on a weekday early afternoon so it was empty but I’d imagine it would be packed on the weekends. We tried one of the cider paddles and everything was great, the passionfruit one stood out in particular!

A great place and a must visit, a fantastic selection of beers and ciders to try out. We shared many tasting paddles and had a great time, the food was good with wood fired pizza's spot on for flavour and the wings cooked to perfection. Staff were fast efficient and friendly, a must visit place when you're in the Swan Valley
