The location of the beach area on Google Maps is incorrect. The area identified on the map is the Retreat at Rum Point condominiums. The actual Rum Point Beach Club is the adjacent property just to the west (right side of picture with the long dock and treed grounds).

One word. Beautiful. The water and ocean life are amazing. So much to see. The beach can get crowded and seating can become scarce, but when you spend a majority of your time in the water, you practically forget there is a beach. That said, the food at Rum Point Restaurant is as amazing as the water. Great vacation spot. If you go, take the Red Sail Sports catamaran across the bay. It's an amazing trip to an amazing spot.

Gorgeous, clear aqua blue water- absolutely breathtaking views! There's a good restaurant to eat at here as well as a gift shop and a HUGE dock and swimming area and hammocks to relax in. Make sure to check out all of the neat signs posted all around- some of them are quite amusing and funny!

It’s worth the drive. There are plenty of beach lounge chairs and trees to sit under. Snorkeling here was also one of my favorites there is an artificial reef (line of boulders covered in coral and fish) off of the west dock and it was very easy to swim around without feeling like you might disturb the marine life. We also saw some massive fish under the dock. I stayed in for so long since the water was so warm. The sand is extra soft, but the drinks are pricy 18$USD for one. Jan 2023 - much of the area behind the beach was fenced off. It looked like it was sectioned off to fix damaged walkways and shops. There was no disturbing construction noise …yet

It is a very beautiful place, there were no crowd when we left so the place was very calm and beautiful.

This is a great snorkeling spot, we saw lots of fish and a stingray. Worth the drive to do this spot and the starfish beach snorkeling at the same time.

Visited 2/22/23. Currently undergoing expansion of restaurant, so entire beach area has been moved to the west of dock. However, dock still accessible and a substantial beach area still available. New, man-made snorkeling area to east of dock (re-purposed ironshore coral) nice. Good kid/family spot, despite construction. Food from transitional kitchen quite good (great, fresh snapper sandwich). Wait service times a bit extended but staff very friendly, and helpful. Look forward to returning and seeing the new product, next year - and hoping they retain at least some of the old and timeless Rum Point charm and ambience (1st visit here 1993). Fun beach. Not the nicest I have been to, but some decent food options and store. We had a great time.

Still under construction. Don’t waste your time because it’s very noisy there , but I assume after the construction is over it will be a nice spot.

Visited Rum Point Beach a couple weeks ago. It was a cute area with lots of shade, blue waters, etc., but there's ongoing construction, plus they were closing early for a private event that day, so availability/accessibility felt limited due to the construction and the event. I would be curious to see what it will look like after the construction!
