It’s a must visit but you should go with Filipino people. Great place to buy cheap food. Be careful with the hygiene, your wallet and jewelry. Go there with few things only!

Market has been upgraded with many places to eat, good food reasonable ambiance. Sooo crowded but by far the most produce I've ever seen. This is a great stop for a variety of good food in the carbon center and as much produce as you can imagine just outside and down the block

What can you say... Full of life, energetic, hectic, loud and fun. Just need to be careful of traffic. Very very hectic. Lots of fruits, vegetables, fish and meats. All kinds of street food as well. Much cheaper than the department stores or Malls. Only four stars cuz not the cleanest place and many kids asking for money 😆😅🤟✌️

Everything here is cheap. But I went here solely for bulad. I'm giving it q 5 star experience since I'm here for "cheap buy" and wide variety of everything. If you are not keen on getting under the prickly heat, crowd, noise, stinky smell of a typical wet market - then stay out! Carbon had always been the source of all. Even big time retailers and supermarkets buy in bulk here. The only reason supermarket good are expensive because you are buying the ease of experience of shopping and other factors that went into thw logistics.

This place is lit! A myriad of cuisines to choose from priced reasonably. Parking could be a challenge though so make sure you’re early. Tables could also be an issue so just get a spot you can be comfortable with and eat your feast there! Must be visited with friends to fully enjoy. If ur lucky, a band playing acoustic music could be heard on both sides too!

Carbon Market will make you experience the real cebuano life. Flowers, vegetables, fruits, everything you need is everywhere. View of CCLEX is superb here as well so if you want yourself a good instagram photo, go here. Bring your umbrella or wear sunscreen. You should definitely try their putomaya and tablea drink for only twenty pesos.

Fun place to walk around and taste different food and drinks. Quite crowded at night time, not easy to find a place to sit, but a lively market to just walk in. A new Carbon market is under construction next to the old, but I hope the same charms will be there also

Wow! It’s been such a long time since i’ve visited here. I’m glad I tagged along with my friends who planned to come here in search for a specific item. Carbon seems to actually look better than what I remember from before. There are lots of good quality items if you know where to look. I was so tempted buy things even though i didnt really need them because they all look so well-made and beautiful lol Here you can find good products for less. The woven items were so beautiful. You can even find “old school” things here such as a the Baterol for “sikwate”. Sometimes vendors can even lower prices depending on what you can agree on. I’ve seen on the TV during my time in cebu that they have like a food market now which seems pretty cool, unfortunately we didnt have time to explore that. Perhaps next time. Either way I did enjoy coming here again and looking at the place with a fresh outlook. Again, not the cleanest of places but there’s just something about the it thats actually quite intriguing and fun, happy to have stopped by!

This place reminds me of hawkers places in Singapore. It's a massive food hall with a variety of cuisines and dishes. There are probably 4 places to get lechon from here, different places to get seafood, and lots of filipino barbecue. It's close to the carbo market, opposite USj, where you can get different types of local fruits and vegetables. You can get the a/c bus from here that goes around the city. For anyone visiting Cebu, this place is a must visit. Food is fresh and inexpensive, and you have lots of local dishes to choose from. You can taste Cebu under 1 roof and great calue for money and great experience. I'll definitely come back here when I visit Cebu again.

A very busy and bustling area, you can get a wide variety of grocery items from here, fresh vegetables, Fruits. There is a food court inside, which has lots of stalls to choose from. Very popular area among the local, tried the famous Lechon here and prawn patter here, very tasty, and I recommend this place. Staff here is very knowledgeable too.

Witnessed and experienced the old to new Carbon market and truly amazing is the result of transformation. I just hope that cebu city govt. will still consider those locals and vendors who have been there for years and still give them the opportunity for livelihood and be dynamic to changes.

Hier kaufen die ärmeren Filipinos ein. (Also die Mehrheit) Ein Moloch an einfachen Verkaufsständen.

offers a wide variety of food choices, and the quality of the food is consistently good. I especially appreciate the diverse cuisines available and the ability to explore new flavors.

I love the place. It has a lot of food and drinks options. Better be early because Saturday and Sunday is a busy day. Around 6:30 pm there were a lot of people eating and tables were all occupied and ventilation inside was not good so it was hot. There's also a band singing so it was good. All in all it was good to try Filipino food.

Very good place to buy your daily food necessities. Also it feels much safer nowadays. They also have a place where you can dine in or hang out with family and friends.

All vegetables are sold at a very affordable price. There are foodstalls also in the area where you can grab meaos or snacks. The area could get a bit messy when it rains though.

One stop food park for seafood, streetfoods, meat, snacks, shakes and chicken! You can find cheap and tasty! Just beware of weather ahead since some stalls don't have enough umbrella tents or tables to accommodate everyone.

This is the oldest and largest farmer's market in Cebu City and is a major tourist attraction. The place is very accessible located in downtown of Cebu City mostly can be reached by jeep or buses in that area. The prices here are far cheaper than those in the supermarkets or other places in Cebu City. Although there is a significant crime in the area it is controlled by police, vendors and nearby residents.

A must visit when you're in cebu. The variety of pinoy foods in one place will surely fill your cravings. A couple of things, though, this is not a place for people with asthma or suffering of anything similar. Music is great, but it can be a little hard to have a conversation given the noise and music. Food can be a little expensive. Finding a place to sit will be a challenge that will require patience. Given that there are a lot of people eating here, it will surely take time for you to find a table. Patience. Lastly, you can see the CCLEX from here while eating.

There's more to the redeveloped Carbon Market than just a market of all kinds of raw goods and cheap products. I recommend a walking tour to get the vibes of Carbon.

A lot of food options but its too crowded during the time we went there. So we opted to not eat there instead because we can’t find a table for ourselves.

There are many food to choose from and very affordable. Best time to visit is during weekends from 6 pm. Good place to visit after attending mass in Basilica Minore Del Santo Niño. The place is very lively. Although, crowded but it is okay. Beware of pickpockets.

Carbon market every night of the weekend, with difference kinds of food stalls to cater Cebuanos delicacies, are having a market fair. The place is usually crowded for people usually gather here because of its cheap prices. Location is safe, and has a great ambiance. Loved the barbeque and tuna "panga" that we ordered. And the Frutas buko juice too.

You'll enjoy various sets of food from local cuisine to famous street foods in other countries. We enjoyed the ambiance of eating with the crowd again after a long time of staying home. Good place to relieve your stress from a long weekend.

For all basic needs, be it fish, vegetables or meat at a very affordable price you can visit Carbon Market. It is best to go there in the evening or early in the morning for fresh fruits, vegetables and fish needs... We have a new Carbon Market cleaner and more systematic than before..

We didn't know about the curfew hour here because we just staying here in Cebu for vacation. So we went outside to buy some foods but the police caught us outside. So here we go, we gonna pay for the curfew violation.😅 It was fun to experience this in other city.😆

This place is perfect for cheap shopping. Here, you can find fresh and very cheap seasonings, spices, vegetables, fruits, and many others. Although the area is not really clean and does not have a good odor, if you are only up to the products people are selling, this place is already good. It is even in this market where I buy fruits because the differences of the prizes are high between this market and groceries.

  • 4/5 jennifer r. 2 years ago on Google
It's the best place to buy fresh veggies, spices and live goats for restaurants and karenderia. U can also buy street foods everywhere

It was great to have a night market in the area even its just once in a week (every sunday). Lot's of food to eat and some item to take as souvenirs.. it's ideal to anyone/everyone longing for food (food trip spot), with great music performance that give vibes while eating or roaming around. Try the grilled scallops, it's so tasty, just be patient with the line though..☺️
