I want to express my disappointment with the way in which Hotel Elizabeth Cebu handled a recent issue I encountered during my stay at their establishment. While I appreciate the overall ambiance, rooms, and cleanliness of the hotel, the way in which their staff treated me when I addressed a lost item issue was completely unacceptable. During my stay, I accidentally left my jacket in the closet of my room. When I returned for it, I was made to wait for hours and was given no clear answers or updates on the situation. I was repeatedly told that there was nothing in the closet, despite my certainty that the jacket was there when I left it. I understand that it was my mistake to leave the item behind, but it is the responsibility of their staff to handle lost and found items in a professional and efficient manner. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of urgency and empathy displayed by their staff during this incident. Losing personal belongings is a stressful experience, and I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. I am concerned for the safety and security of future guests, as the mishandling of lost items could have serious consequences if it were a wallet or phone left behind. Based on my experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Hotel Elizabeth Cebu to others. While the overall appearance and cleanliness of the hotel were satisfactory, the lack of professionalism and urgency displayed by their staff was a major letdown. I implore the management to take immediate action to address the issue of lost and found items and to ensure that the staff are properly trained to handle such situations in a professional and efficient manner. I hope that my feedback will be taken seriously, and that future guests will not have to endure a similar experience.

Stay: 3 nights, 4 days (3 pax, deluxe room) I am giving 5 stars because we feel like we got more than what we paid for. For 3 nights, we only paid P8k. The breakfast buffet was a big factor for this rating, as we saved a lot on food expenses. Plus, the hotel serves different meals everyday so there's no need to worry about eating the same thing every single day. Location is also a big yes. There's a 7/11 on the next building, there's also a massage/spa center beside, and then there's Ayala Mall and Metro Mall just a block away. Check-in was also a breeze. Employees are also courteous and professional. It is quiet inside the room even when our room was facing the street. Areas of Improvement: Key/Access cards have the tendency to not work and that can be a bummer especially if you are in a hurry to get back to your room and it won't function inside the elevator. Please also consider replacing your towels into something new, more soft or comfortable. Though they serve its function, they kind of remind me of cheap towels found in motels. Overall, we had a great stay at this hotel. I am happy domestic tourism is back and recovering well now!

This was my refuge for a month after typhoon Odette. I stayed here during Christmas and New Year’s week until the 22nd of Jan 2022! Overall, the accommodation was excellent! The room is always kept clean! The staff are very approachable and helpful! The buffet breakfast is great! I feel very safe staying here because everyone observes the MPHS plus they do not accept quarantined guests! The owner and the manager puts their guests’ and staffs’ safety on top of the list! This hotel is now my favorite go to hotel in the metro! I look forward to staying and enjoying soon! A ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ for me! Below are my recommendations to improve guests experience: More parking space for guests, and must put priority to guests vs visitors. Internet connection, make it faster and more stable especially in rooms farther from the router. Adding a wifi extender maybe a good option. Must have more sockets available near the bedside. TV Remote should work better. Better keycard sensitivity.

A true gem! The rooms are large, the staff amazing, and the location just perfect. We enjoyed this hotel very much, and saying that about a hotel in Cebu City is actually a rarity. I highly recommend this hotel, and HIGHLY recommend not taking chances with other hotels in this area.

Confortable hotel but just have 110 V plug in the room..... But do not worry, they will sell you (Borrowing not available :) ) Restaurant does the job and food is quite tasty. Breakfast is average. Location is quite good. Check out procedure make me feel as a criminal. They are sending one staff to check the room, once done the reception give you a release ticket :) ....

Real value for money! Even if this hotel is quite old already, it is well maintained. We got the Executive Suite for our family, we were 2 adults and 2 teens and the room was 1 king bed and 2 single beds. With adequate staff personnel especially in the breakfast area. The free breakfast was also sulit! Will definitely go back and recommend this also to friends.

We stayed in this hotel often during pandemic and service and restaurant were limited at that time. Recent stay was early February 2023 and this hotel is very nice and feels luxureous. Breakfast buffet was good and well sorted. Room was clean, bedding comfortable, good washroom and nice desk and chairs. Safe box.

Clean rooms and great location. Just a few steps away from Ayala. Very strategic location. Fast WiFi. The rooms doesn't have any privacy though. You can hear people fighting and arguing from the next room as there is a door that connects to the next room.

Most reviews pretty accurately described this hotel. Overall: great location and employees, but not so great room quality. Pros: - The location is pretty good: House of Lechon is right across the street, two 7-11 within walking distance, and 7-minute walk to the Ayala Mall. - the service is very friendly. Bellhop helped us to contact a taxi to set up a day tour around the city that is much cheaper than online reservation. The front desk personnel helped arranging airport shuttles as well as other inquiries. - fairly cheaper cost comparing to nearby hotels. - our room located on the floor with the gym with up-to-date equipments. Cons: - the room itself is certainly dated. Clean overall, but the amenities such as the safe and mini fridge did not work. One of the bedside lamp stopped working after the first night of stay. Some reviews mentioned cockroaches but we did not notice any bug (roach, bedbugs, etc) during our stay. - the noise is pretty bad. The hotel runs like a karaoke in the lobby during the evenings. We arrived on a Friday evening, and from 5 pm to after 8 pm our room was filled with heavy beats, music, and singing voices (not in a good way). Granted that our room located on the 3rd floor, but it was still pretty bad. Same thing happened on the second night of stay too. - the breakfast buffet is really not great, especially comparing to other hotels. Very basic items and options. At least with the mall being very close, there are other alternatives.

Wet floor upon exiting the elevator. Mold in bathtub. Dirt and hair on floor. Broken toilet flusher. Small TV. Dirty windows. Safety lights are on the desk and not mounted on the wall. Less convenient location and more expensive than other 3 star hotel in area (which i switched to and it was better in every way). Breakfast was lacking variety. Staff listened but when I asked for a refund, I had to write a handwritten letter explaining why. The staff on site at the time couldn't process the refund so I had to come back later. Then they said it might take months for the refund.

I liked this place, it was close to Ayala mall which I frequent. The staff were also nice and polite. The security guards and helpers always look out for you and they check the taxi if we left stuff. They were nice enough to lend us utilities that we need. I recommend the place. I stayed for 5 days.

A mixed review. The hotel is in a great location if you want to shop at Ayala mall. The room we had was very clean but dated and ready for an update. Service was excellent but the food left a lot to be desired. I was especially disappointed in the breakfast buffet. None of the meat, eggs, rice, etc was in a heated pan. All were cold when I had breakfast at 7:30.

The area is spacious for our workshop, they had provided tables in social distancing. Had served delicious and appetizing snacks and lunch for us. With their approachable and friendly staff..

One of the best hotel in Cebu. I love how spacious and clean the room was. Very accommodating and polife staffs. I was able to borrow flat iron for my clothes. The water pressure is strong, they met my expectations. It's walking distance to Ayala which is very nice. I wish they will create a proper waiting area near their front desk. Although they will allow you to sit/wait in the resto.

My family and I stayed in this Hotel for numerous days and we enjoyed every minute of it. They are clean and organized, and the staff are accommodating. Their executive rooms are spacious and modern. One thing that we have an issue with is their internet connection. They could have invested more Wi-Fi routers inside each room than one outside servicing a floor. Breakfast is not a problem. They have more than enough to feed to burn the carbs for the rest of the day unless you are a picky eater. If I'm coming back to Cebu, I will not hesitate to book a room in this Hotel. Shoutout to all the management and staff. A job well done.

With just a stone’s throw from Ayala mall, the hotel is quite accessible to almost anything, that’s why it’s my go-to place whenever I’m in Cebu to go shopping. The place seemed old yet clean. Their Junior Suite is spacious with a working desk, fridge and a bath tub aside from basic toiletries. The only downside was the leaking in the shower( although it didn’t affect it’s function) but when you use the tub and the shower, the floor of the toilet gets wet.

We booked Executive Suite and we were expecting to pay for extra bed for our child. But when we arrived, we realized all Executive suite comes with 2 extra beds. We are delighted as we all can have comfortable bed without paying extra. the room comes with 2 toilets with shower too! Location is fantastic, is 1 min walk to 2 groceries shops and Less than 5 mins to Ayala mall. Ayala is a huge mall with everything you need. Breakfast is basic

Me and my husband stayed for 10 days here. It is a very nice and clean hotel. Their staffs are very helpful and attentive especially the General Manager Sir Eduardo, the hotel is very lucky to have him as the GM and I would like to give a salute to the GM because his staffs are well-trained. Special mention to Christian Nino from HK, the captain waiter I forgot the name,Jasman, Rey, Irene and John from the restaurant. They were very amazing. The breakfast is good and when you dine in for dinner you will be entertained with a live singer every night with different performers. The price also is very affordable. Front desk and security guards are very helpful too. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

We chose the hotel because of its location. It is near the hospital and supermarket. (Metro Ayala) The service could've gotten a 5 star, but the front desk lady upon our check-in, I'd say, was incompetent. She needs further training. The room is ok. There are not enough channels on cable.

The best hotel experiences I have in Philippines 🇵🇭 The staff are really friendly and helpful. The kitchen / food could have some potential. The totally experience is that this hotel meet international standard and will be my first choice in the future. I’m coming back.

The staff were very accomodating. The breakfast was delicious. The location is walking distance from Ayala mall, which makes it very accessible whenever we need to buy some essentials. Despite the tap card system being down at times, the staff were still on top of things to resolve it as soon as possible. My first trip to Cebu was great because of them and will definitely book the hotel here when I come back!

Food is okay. Great service. Location is great. The only issue we had was the feeling of being uneasy inside our room. Felt like there was a ghost. Believe it or not, just sharing what we felt. :)

Poor service. FO is nowhere to be found, and non-apologetic. They don't even show a genuine smile and politeness. Attitude is next or almost going Rude. Too expensive for the type of services especially the F. O.

We stayed here last June 2022, and even though the hallways seem old, the room and its facilities are up to date. The room is very spacious, and it has a small coffee table. There's a fridge, and spacious drawers/cabinets where you can store your things, plus a water heater. The CR is spacious and has a bath tub. Their TV comes with cable and Netflix. Some renovations were ongoing while we were staying though, so it was quite noisy. However, the free breakfast was meh.

Rooms were nice, clean, comfortable. Really good location -- 5 min walk to Ayala Center Cebu. Good value for money.

Although there were minor maintenance upkeep needed, bed was very firm and comfortable. On the 9th floor, it easily quiet enough not to be distracted by the street traffic. The hotel staff and service make up most of the 4 star review as they are very accommodating, happy and friendly. Also great value for your money, free breakfast and internet are nice amenities too. This hotel is next to Ayala mall which has many eateries to visit. It is also central to some of the attractions here and near Cebu City such as the Cebu Ocean Park, Sirao Gardens and Temple of Leah.

Really nice hotel and location is perfect. Mall just 8 min in walking distance away from the hotel. Staff is very polite and friendly, the breakfast buffet is just delicious, highly recommend this hotel, I'll definitely come back here , when I come back to Cebu.

Nice hotel and great staff. A little dated and some wearing. Still everything was good quality. Bed was very comfortable and just big living area. They had a nice breakfast and bar staff was super friendly.

Rooms are spacious. Staff is fine, not very kind but also not rude. Breakfast was a disaster. We came at 9.20, there was no food left. Suddenly there was a cut off at 9.30, while breakfast was supposed to be open until 10. Most bad part was that the food had gone bad! There was no airco and it was warm, this must probably be the problem. Very disappointed, won't book again.

The hotel was so beautiful. They have a dress code in their restaurants. Breakfast buffet Would’ve been a 5 if the ramp going to their lobby was car friendly. Exit and Entrance was against traffic. Told us that they have strict dress code. But there were guests that wearing clothes against the rules so it’s a bit disappointing- our group made an effort to dress up in the morning only to find out we can eat comfortably with our lounge clothes (sleepwear/shorts)

Value for money! Service is excellent. The hotel rooms need renovation to lighten it up. In our room the bathtub is clogged. Nevertheless, if these changes are addressed this can be a must-stay preferred hotel in Cebu.

Best hotel I’ve ever been to for affordability and cleanliness. The security guard and helper are very friendly and helpful comparing when I went to another establishment here in Cebu. My view was nice, the room is spacious and classy. I love that they have a bathtub which I love the most because it is so relaxing with hot water. I also love their breakfast buffet, it is affordable and tasty, with few selections but enough for me. Definitely, will stay here again!

Their executive rooms are value for your money. It seems new so I guess they have maintained the elegance and cleanliness of their rooms excellently well. We had a great time sleeping on their comfy beds and our families enjoyed their stay a lot, even for a short time. Their airconditioners immediately cools so you don’t have to worry. I love how sophisticated and luxurious their rooms are. And the price is affordable! As I’ve said, this hotel has given us more than what we pay for! You should experience it for yourself. Their front desk staff is so approachable and they have accommodated endless inquiries we have had. Their staff and waiters are just so anticipatory and responsive! Indeed, their hospitality is at its finest! They had immediately catered my manifold requests. I did not even feel any stress because they were so quick to take care of what I want. I just love how kind they are and it’s only in Hotel Elizabeth that I have experienced this kind of atmosphere.

We had a very nice 2night stay there. Rooms are nice, staff was super friendly, and helpfull and in the evening there was live music. The bar was great, just the resto and food could be a little bit higher quality and more options

The room is nice and spacious. I slept well. Bathroom is spacious too. Though no safety or provision for PWD or elders. No pool. I have not taste their food since my accomodation does not include breakfast. Walking distance to Ayala Ctr Mall.

Stayed there twice and definitely won't be the last staying in Cebu City. It's 5⭐ for the price you pay. The staffs they have are very friendly and helpful. They go extra for you to have a good stay.

First time in Cebu and this is where we checked in, the room was fine. However the view we got wasn’t that desirable, it took as long time as well to get our room because the receptionist was asking too many requirements when everything has been settled online already. Also the breakfast wasn’t appealing, it feels like catering services, not so hotel breakfast.
