Absolutely wonderful experience here. Room was great, cleaning staff went above and beyond everyday for us & so did the food and beverage team. Their breakfast buffet is one of the best I've ever had in a hotel. Location is convenient, very close to Ayala malls and restaurants, rooftop bar is worth checking out for it's excellent night skyline views and atmosphere. Look forward to staying here again when we visit Cebu again.

Mixed Experience - Cautionary Tale and Room for Improvement During a recent trip to Cebu, I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel, an experience that provided both lessons and insights about travel safety and accommodations. With a travel history spanning over 1,300,000 kilometres and more than 1,300 nights away from home since 2011, my journeys have generally been smooth. However, an unexpected incident during this stay underscored the importance of remaining vigilant. Upon checking in on a Sunday morning, an interesting challenge emerged at the breakfast cashier. Navigating between old and new Filipino currency to settle my bill, I found myself grappling with the different notes. The cashier and I sorted through my wallet, working to identify the valid ones. Little did I anticipate that this routine task, amidst the bustling staff, would lead to consequences. Later that day, I secured some of my belongings, including older currency notes, in the safety of my room's lockbox. Following a nap, local explorations, and sampling native delicacies, I was taken aback the next day to discover a significant portion of my older cash missing when I opened the lockbox. Growing increasingly concerned, I engaged with the hotel's management to address the issue. Despite multiple conversations, the mystery of the missing money remained unsolved. Investigations revealed that only my room attendants had accessed the room. Unfortunately, system limitations prevented access to the lockbox and door logs. This experience prompted a reevaluation of my travel practices, emphasising the need for personal security. I've resolved not to rely solely on hotel lockboxes for storing money, having learned about their susceptibility to code overrides through online research. My approach to carrying cash now leans towards minimalism, ensuring greater peace of mind. Regarding the hotel itself, it appears to have seen better days. The room could benefit from updates, and the "gym" is showing signs of age. Regrettably, the restaurant's food left much to be desired. The chicken wings my group ordered were undercooked, necessitating a second round of frying, and my pasta was disappointingly dry. While this experience served as a valuable lesson, it hasn't dissuaded me from considering future visits to Cebu. Nevertheless, I'll be opting for a different hotel on my next stay. I recognise that the incident resulted from my own lapse in judgment and the importance of being cautious when handling money.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel. I originally booked 1 day in Cebu and ended up staying 8 days. Booked the Executive suite on 12th floor. Roof top restaurant and bar and music were amazing. Front desk Tracy, Marj and James were so kind. Yes I feel in love with Ms. Honey. She was the kindness person during my 1 month trip. If I had a ring, I would Marry her. God willing, I will have a future stay in this hotel. Blessings to all the staff.

The rooms are great and a nice breakfast buffet. Staff for the most part is great. We tried to reserve a date to hold our wedding there three times. Met with the staff that handles the events. You couldn't find anyone more incompetent than the people in charge of this division. Could not get them to follow up or call us back. I wonder how much money they lose every year. We booked at the water front hotel and met with people that actually know how to use a calendar and write a contract. Attention CEO of Harold's, hire people that know what they are doing, your wasting the event space you have and losing lots of money.

We had a company dinner. It was a "Grill and Chill" theme. However, food was so delayed as they are still grilling it. We made a reservation days before. We went off work at 6. They could have cooked ahead so that it's ready to serve. Nobody cares it its sizzling hot. Everyone is just so hungry and ready to eat. So we just ate the mashed potato, fruits but still did not suffice the hunger we felt. I hope they can do better.

Met my friends here from Korea and showed them around Cebu. Rooms here are the average clean room. The hotel have an excellent and accomodating staff which will go out of their way to help in anyway. The buffet breakfast on the first floor serves a variety of dishes including the local danggit. There is also a rooftop lounge with entertainment to relax after a long day.

The hotel is nice, staff are very kind! Room was great- although the water did not get hot, just slightly warm(no big issue) the front desk went out of there way to help me with an early check in- that was very nice of them! And Kristine at the rooftop is really nice and helpful- it was fun talking with her!

Super pleased with the service here — couldn’t touch my own bags until they appeared in my room. Breakfast was amazing, with bacon and tablea (local hot chocolate). Staff super attentive and let us print a visa application at reception, and even in the special A4 Japanese size paper. Will definitely consider returning here for my short stays in Cebu. Shout out to Lemon and Ryan.

We flew into Cebu City from UK so we were very tired and ready for a good night's sleep! Harold's staff were friendly and helpful, the room and hotel was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed our stay in Harold Evotel Cebu , was amazing staff , excellent food and services. The hotel is not bad it is nice but better if they can do some patching or fixing small spots which is in the bathroom. Slight only but would be perfect if it will be fixed.there are few gaps and slight holes on the walls need paint and maybe plastering the gaps. All up.was.amazing . I love to stay there again. Beautiful people, supervisor is nice ,we requested the last breakfast of the kids which is potato fries and they have served it . I hope all hotels has friendly staffs like them. The food was great. 10 out of 10 .

Very conducive. Accessible. The hotel receptionist are very polite and quick to address our concerns. The food is sumptuous especially the pastries. The room is also clean and housekeeping is done everyday with free bottled water everydat. It's near Ayala Center.

The only thing in this hotel was that we had an issue with the payment. I had a mistake to book the wrong date, but it is written that you can change it for free, but they charged us twice for our whole stay instead of two nights, they charge us for nights, even if the change of date is still free at that time. And I tried to ask for a refund, and they never gave us a refund, and it seemed like they never cared at all. Other than that this hotel is nice and really huge rooms and just close to Ayala Mall. When you book this hotel, just be very careful to book it properly! well, it was a bit of my mistake to get confused with my dates, but I know that I deserve to be refunded for the double charge that they made.

This place is not for Muslims. May be they are good in serving majority of the population but not with us Muslims. It is very obvious with our outfit that we are muslims but they still served food without notifying us that there is pork in it. They argued that there are labels. Yes, a label half an inch in height with black font in a purple background!

Nice hotel with good clean rooms and a very beautiful rooftop gastro pub. Choice of food was limited and fairly pricey BUT the view makes up for a lot of this.

We had an amazing stay, the staff was very accommodating and very informative, the room was excellent very nice and clean with city view, the bed was comfortable and the freebies was good. The rooftop bar has magnificent view specially at 🌃 night looking at the city light. I had a margarita cocktail which it was not on the menu, you need to ask the staff if you want mix drink, They don't have the full menu the pizza was not available and other meals that was on the menu was not available which I don't understand cause this place is right in the city no excuse to not have the ingredients they need and because of this I can only give you 4 out of 5.

I am just from nearby city, I usually visit the bar at the roof deck to hang out, drink beer and eat pizza. The place is cozy and not crowded, the view is nice, the food is good, the service crew is accommodating, and the band and music is good. Good place to talk with friends with less noise.

WiFi in the room was most of the time absent (no signal at all); the picture quality of the tv was very bed. For these problems they apologise, but they didn'tdo ajything effective. No warm shower, but just 1 °C more than "cold"; even waiting (as they suggest) 5/10 minutes (!) nothing changes. I tried to access to the gym, but the related button of the lift just doesn't work. The loundry service gave my clothes back exactly 37 minutes after the check-out time. This made me miss the ferry. Breakfast is OK. Overall, in my opinion it's just not good value for the money.

Nice tall building with good views, and roof top bar (closed for private event during my stay). Helpful front desk staff. Bathroom appeared a bit damaged. Good access to uptown.

I have had two different stays during the past month at this lovely hotel. Harolds has a warmer feel than larger business class hotels, due to the extraordinary culture of its employees. People like Mr. Alegado (managing the ground floor restaurant), and the entire staff of the superb rooftop restaurant, exemplify a real standard of service excellence. The rooms are large, have high-quality beds, and are super clean. The hotel's location is less noisy than other areas in Cebu, but still a reasonable walk to/from Ayala Center.

Harolds' is a wonderful hotel. The staff is attentive and amenities are plentiful. Well worth the money spent for the executive suite accommodation received. The only caution I would give is to prepay for breakfast or skip it as it is quite pricey for what is offered.

Rooms are well appointed, clean and a comfortable bed. The restaurant on the roof deck has great food and excellent service. My steak was cooked to perfection and the Cabernet from South Australia was perfect complement. We will definitely return in the future.

We stayed at their suite premier, the room was indeed big, spacious and clean. My Wedding Reception was held at Highlights Cafe. Staffs are so accommodating and friendly. I will be very soon. 😊

A local business hotel that's accessible from Ayala Business District and nearby commercial centers. H Cafe is barely occupied when I walked in. Ordered Tangigue Steak for lunch. Prices are affordable. Serving time was considerably fine. The wait staff has been checking on me every now and then to see if I am enjoying my meals. I enjoyed the fruit-infused tea so much I don't wanna leave so soon if I don't rush.

Kudos to this Hotel and it’s staff!!! Especially to Sr. Ryan and Miss Maris I think? I’m sorry I kinda forgot her name, but we’re a friends of 5 (the noisiest) on the roof top floor drinking a lot of Margaritas! Most of us friends are working in the Hospitality Industry and we’d like to extend OUR APPRECIATION for such GREAT SERVICE and theeee TASTIEST MARGARITAS. * Sr. Ryan accommodated us with his passion in bartending and service. He took care of us as we got out from a very disappointing experience at SEDA in Central Block. * Ms. Maris and the rest of the ACT on the job training crew were so kind and attentive! Whenever we ran out of water in our glasses they fill it up in a snap. Minor details but really really means a lot! You ladies are going places! * Most of all thank you Sr. Ryan for such good drinks! Your Margaritas was superb and personally it was thee best Margarita I’ve tasted so far! * The food was amazing! We ordered a lot of pork sisig and it just goes so well with the frozen Margaritas. Their chicken wings were pretty good too!! Kudos to the Chef and kitchen staff working that night! Over all even though we didn’t book any rooms nor book in advance, they took care of us just how you wanna be treated as a guest. Keep it up guys!!!

This is suppose to be a business hotel but slow to no Wi-Fi on the lower level. Buffet - no butter available, what a boring bread they got in here. Shower - no hot water during nigh time, did they turned it off every evening? No fridge here, only chiller. How’s my ice cream in here? Customer service - pretty good. But they keep on apologizing you without trying all their best to fix the occurring problems. For the price of this hotel, it is a shame. No thanks. Next hotel please.
