Went
to
Citadines
Cebu
city
for
work
travel
--
first
time
in
this
hotel
and
was
pleasantly
surprised
and
satisfied.
Admittedly,
we
have
tried
staying
at
more
upscale
hotels
in
Cebu
city,
and
yet
really
enjoyed
our
stay
here
more.
1.
Room
is
modern
and
spacious
-
furnishing
is
more
contemporary
and
design
choices
provide
a
homey
feel.
I
stayed
at
the
single
room
and
yet
got
amenities
that
would
be
suites
in
other
hotels
-
like
a
full-sized
ref,
cooking
appliances,
a
microwave,
cooking
implements,
and
dishwashing
liquid/sponge.
They
even
have
a
small
water
jug
in
your
room,
so
you
no
longer
have
to
lament
the
free
water
in
plastic
bottles.
Particularly,
I
got
a
PWD
friendly
room,
more
inclusive
for
persons
on
wheel
chairs
--
an
extra
lower
peep
hole,
assistive
railings
in
the
bathroom,
a
slope
to
the
shower
area,
and
an
accessible
bathroom
sink.
The
curtains
are
black
out,
working
area
is
comfy,
and
the
closet
is
spacious
and
has
lighting.
Wifi
in
the
room
was
fast
and
I
was
able
to
play
Genshin
with
no
lags,
even
with
the
smart
tv
wirelessly
connected.
I
had
an
issue
with
the
electric
turning
on
and
off
and
calling
the
front
desk
they
helped
out.
2.
Service
-
Yeah,
i
had
an
issue
with
my
power
in
the
room
on
the
first
night,
i
immediately
called
front
desk
but
was
not
taken
seriously
by
the
male
staff,
saying
I
could
be
switching
it.
That
was
very
unpleasant
but
as
I
was
already
too
tired
and
had
to
work,
I
just
slept
through
it.
This
is
especially
unnerving
since
I
was
alone
and
I
was
unsure
if
someone
would
enter
my
room
in
the
end
of
the
hallway.
Getting
back
from
work
the
next
day,
it
happened
again
so
I
called
reception,
luckily
the
lady
who
assisted
me
took
my
concern
seriously
and
sent
maintenance
to
check.
The
maintenance
inspected
and
the
keycard
slot
for
power
was
defective
and
replaced
it
on
the
spot.
The
maintenance
staff
was
respectful
and
stayed
by
the
door
as
I
watched
them
repair.
They
showed
me
the
faulty
device
and
was
sure
the
issue
wont
happen
again.
So
i
was
happy
with
that,
my
electric
worries
ended
and
the
room
got
colder
from
the
aircon
not
tripping.
Staff
was
generally
attentive
and
polite
to
guests.
3.
Amenities
-
tried
the
pool
and
my
colleague
tried
the
gym
area,
which
were
beside
each
other.
These
were
okay
for
a
quick
morning
workout.
Towels
were
available
in
the
pool
area.
Pool
area
was
more
busy
at
night
with
guests
doing
night
swims.
I
liked
the
laundry
room
--
it
was
300
pesos
per
run
(7kg
max,
wash
and
dry),
my
colleague
and
I
shared
and
was
very
happy
with
the
area,
we
chatted
a
bit
waited
for
the
washing
cycle,
when
it
was
time
to
dry,
we
went
down
for
breakfast
and
came
back
to
our
dry
and
warm
laundry.
Staff
noticed
we
were
using
the
laundry
room
and
turned
on
airconditioning
for
us.
4.
Food
-
buffet
breakfast
was
with
Abaca
Baking
Company,
a
reputable
food
establishment
in
the
city.
Very
impressed
with
the
food,
especially
with
the
baked
goods
and
deserts.
They
offer
plastic
gloved
and
alcohol
to
ensure
hygiene
in
the
buffet
area.
Really
liked
the
breakfasts
here.
The
area
around
the
hotel
has
some
really
good
and
not
that
pricey
restaurants.
Of
course,
the
robinsons
supermarket
in
the
basement
could
help
you
stay
in
and
cook
if
you
want.
There
are
also
small
bars
around
if
youre
feeling
the
need
for
libations.
5.
Transpo
and
location
-
airport
taxi
was
unfamiliar
with
citadines
but
more
familiar
with
the
area
"baseline
center"
where
the
hotel
was
in.
There's
a
taxi
line
in
front
of
the
hotel,
which
is
very
convenient.
Walking
a
bit
would
also
lead
you
to
national
bookstore
for
your
work
needs.
Over
all,
though
there
was
a
small
bump
at
first,
this
was
a
great
stay
for
me
and
will
go
back
if
I
can.
