Great
suburban
park
on
the
South
side
of
Cedar
Falls
near
the
industrial
park
with
paved
trails
looping
around
the
bigger
of
the
two
Prairie
Lakes,
and
along
two
sides
of
the
smaller
lake.
Many
benches
along
the
paved
trails
provide
opportunity
to
take
a
break
from
walking,
running,
riding,
skiing
etc,
or
just
to
watch
the
nature
and
enjoy
the
peaceful
lakes.
Many
fishermen
utilize
both
lakes
to
cast
their
lines
in
the
warmer
months
and
ice
fishing
in
the
winter.
Kayakers
can
often
be
seen
on
the
larger
lake
as
well.
Four
workout
stations
dot
the
perimeter
of
the
larger
lake
along
the
paved
trails
to
offer
opportunities
to
do
some
body
weight
exercises.
Sign
boards
are
posted
to
help
provide
ideas
for
exercises.
There
is
a
dock
on
each
end
of
the
larger
lake,
and
the
Southern
one
has
a
nearby
covered
picnic
shelter
with
a
paved
offshoot
from
the
main
paved
trails
for
easy
access
(by
foot
or
bike,
the
parking
lot
is
on
the
other
side
of
the
lake).
The
paved
trails
also
connect
to
the
rest
of
the
greater
Cedar
Valley
paved
trails
system
for
easy
access.
