👍👍 The place is wonderful, the chocolate milk is amazing, and the cake is delicious. The new owners of the place are wonderful hosts and make you feel like part of the family. They have very interesting ideas on how to remodel the place and I am excited to come back and see the changes. 👍 People often mention coffee, shop,

It was an honor to be in attendance for Tawana Fields Mega Entrepreneur book signing in such a beautiful coffee shop with great pastries and excellent drinks. The staff was amazing and very attentive to the guests .

1846 coffee shop is right in the middle of downtown. Historic quarter it is. I have been here like ten times in the past year. Coolest place ever for coffee and hangout in Cedar Hill. There are many good restaurants to eat around the area too. So 1846. Good coffee and drinks. Good price too. Must try their pastry since they are really tasty. Conducive environment to work or meet friends. They have enough space and comfy chairs. I like their simple but catchy decor too. High ceiling makes things quite grande and elegant. And the brick wall around is a true gem. Friendly servers. Super friendly shop owner, Jake! And funny! And he can talk, just minding you. Highly recommended for a cool coffee shop in Cedar Hill.

This unique hole in the wall brings so much warmth and clarity to your day, a great place to enjoy a pleasant conversation or just a relaxed stay day. You can start a COFFEE TAB 😉 BONNIE AND CLYDE is the answer to my prayers the coffee I've been waiting for.

My knitting group meets here once a week. I don't drink coffee, but the Mexican hot chocolate is delicious, and I almost always get a cinnamon cruffin to take home for breakfast the next day. The staff is friendly and helpful. The other patrons tend to be quieter than at other coffee houses where we've met in the past.

Great coffee shop to chill at and I have always been able to find a seat! They are usually pretty quiet so it's a great place to study or just have a conversation. Their drink selection is on the more limited side but they have such unique drinks (including some lemonades right now!). Their treats/snacks are always on point. Will definitely be back!

I can't wait to go back. Lovely little coffee shop with excellent service. I had the gluten free banana muffin and it was absolutely delicious! Also had the 1846 Hug latte. It's caramel, maple, and something else I believe, but it was amazing! A lot of coffee shops have very bitter or overly milky tasting drinks, but this one was perfect.

Absolutely enjoy 1846 coffee. Unique, chill and consistent. Found it when I lived 10 min from downtown. I’ve moved out quite the ways but still make the time to drive out for a cup of coffee. It’s that good.

A nice, quiet, and chill coffee. The Stella Rosa pound cake donut was really good and the cappuccino was great as well. Will definitely be back.

I did not get any food this time but have in the past and it was delicious. I'm not a fru-fru coffee drinker, so when the server asked if I needed space for cream and sugar and found out I did not, he filled my cup (an Americana) all the way which is awesome! The unique part of this place however is the atmosphere. The architecture just makes for a great place to take in while hanging out with friends. I was there with a large group, and there was another large group playing a game of D&D maybe?; yet, we were still able to hear each other. Thanks for a memorable evening!

Decided to try this location since I was close by. I spoke to the barrista twice, no response, the pastries looked nice but the lighting was so dark I couldn’t really get any details so I decided against it. Latte was pretty good that’s why the 3 starts. If your looking for friendly or cozy I would not recommend. Yet, just running in to get a quick coffee was ok.
